  1. You feel bored on a saturday evening, everyone is offline and your computer is updating. Finding yourself with nothing to do on such a perfect night, you decide to go outside and take a walk
  2. "its nice out", you tell yourself. "I'll go for a walk"
  3. You leave your house and lock the door, and start your walk down the street. It feels strangely dark, you're almost never out this late and you've never seen it this dark before, sure it's you've seen darkness all the time, but it feels pitch and lifeless tonight.
  4. As you walk down the sidewalk and get further from your house you have a strange feeling overcoming you, some kind of feeling of worry. Worry you won't find your way back, you turn around and notice your house is lost in the fog and darkness, only seeing faint outlines of it, you continue on your way and put in some earbuds to listen to some music to clear your mind.
  5. You notice nothing's playing, "w-what the?.." you say to yourself, you check your phone and see that it won't turn on
  6. Your phone is dead.
  7. You stop for a moment, and think to yourself, "Should I go back, charge it, and go to bed. Or should I just keep going?"
  8. "It's a safe suburb town" You say to yourself
  9. "I don't *need* a phone, I have the beauty of nature"
  10. using your own reassuring words you go on down the sidewalk, reaching the side of a forest.
  11. this is nothing special you tell yourself, "the whole town is surrounded by forest, its quite nice!" you think to yourself as you walk down the sidewalk parallel to the forest.
  12. Soon after, you notice your earbuds start to play something. Confused, you turn up the volume.
  13. "A stab in the heart for every bullet in the chest" you hear in a faint muffled voice through your earbuds.
  14. slightly terrified by the noise, you pull your earbuds out.
  15. "I must be imagining things" you reassure yourself, as you continue on your way.
  16.
  17. You hear a ruffling in the bushes and trees next to you, half worried and scared from the message, but still half sure it's nothing special, you look closer..
  18. Its a deer... on the floor, you see it's in pain and moaning, you look around it and find it bleeding from the chest.
  19. "oh you poor thing" you say, "I'll patch you up" you reassure it as you look around for any kind of bandage or wrapping for its wounds. You turn around and you hear it again, that faint noise, this time from the forest
  20. "A stab in the heart for every bullet in the chest". This time slightly less muffled yet sounding almost demonic in tone.
  21. "What?"
  22. "Who's there" you ask aloud.
  23. "A stab in the heart for every bullet in the chest" you hear again, this time, from multiple sides and from multiple voices.
  24. you start to worry and decide to leave the deer there in search for home. In search for safety from this seemingly nightmarish night.
  25. You turn around to head back to the sidewalk but find no street, only more forest
  26. you turn back around and only head deeper in the forest.
  27. Starting to panic, you pick up the pace, you hear more and more ruffling and noises all around you as you run faster and faster
  28. you are soon in a full sprint through the forest sweating and panicking, on the verge of tears, searching for the way out.
  29. "What's going on here!" you yell, but nobody responds
  30. "I grew up in these forests, I know them like the back of my hand, why can't I find my way out?" you ask yourself, as you start to collect yourself and try to retrace your steps.
  31.
  32. In your attempt to get back and retrace your steps, you hear it again, but this time, its loud. Almost as if its right into your ears and right in front of you. Or right behind you.
  33. "a stab in the heart for every bullet in the chest"
  34. it's painfully clear now, something is talking, something is near, it can't possibly be your imagination you tell yourself.
  35. it's too real, it's too terrifying, it can't be a dream.
  36. you start turning in all directions looking for the source of the noise. until.. you see it.
  37. A faint glow in the near distance behind a few trees, you creep towards it, your curiosity stronger than your fear could ever dream to be.
  38. And then, you see it, standing there.. A horrific creature, "it must be 10 feet tall" you think to yourself, with the body of a man and the head a deer, with glowing eyes and long sharp claws, it just.. stares at you.
  39. "What.. are. you?" You ask with hesitation, full of fear
  40. it tilts its head slightly to the right and doesn't respond.
  41. wanting to escape this nightmare, you start to take a step backward. With your first step you crack a small stick on the forest floor and the creature crouches down in what almost feels like an stance of attack, it reaches its hand out to you with its claws wide and sharp and says in the most clear and defined way
  42. "A stab in the heart for every bullet in the chest" in a dark, demonic voice.
  43. You turn and sprint,
  44. "No, it can't end like this, what have I done?" you say to yourself crying and sweating while running through the forest.
  45. the tears from pure fear and shock blur your vision, you can only see faint silhouettes of trees and bushes as you try to run around them.
  46. You soon smack straight into what seems like a tree, you fall down on your back, look up, rub the tears out of your eyes and blink to ensure you are not hallucinating.
  47. It's him.
  48. It's the creature.
  49. Standing there.
  50. staring again.
  51. "A stab in the heart for every bullet in the chest"
  52.
  53. You black out, maybe from fainting of fear, or perhaps the creature had done something to you, but that's all you remember, you wake up back in your house in what feels to be the next morning.
  54. "It was just a bad dream" You tell yourself, as you get ready for the work day.
  55. You turn on the TV and flip to the news to play in the background while you get dressed, hoping to hear the traffic and weather reports.
  56. But then, at the bottom of the screen, you see something you normally would have felt to be normal, but now are strangely horrified by.
  57. "This just in: Hunting down 99%."
  58. The end
