Stardom Draft Thoughts

My feeling is that Mask vs Dance is a ruse.  QQ will lose their masks, which is no big deal.  Oedo's dance is iconic and the entry points towards wrestling fans identifying with Stardom over Sendai Girls, Ice Ribbon, and the others.

During my picks for the prediction pool I dissolved STARS.  Mayu being hurt would leave them without a leader, and in her absences there could just be no STARS.  Not sure everyone needs and affiliation, or will have one, but there is no rule to say that when Mayu comes back she won't create a new group, either in storyline or not.

Hana's team dissolving wouldn't be shocking.  She basically has no team anyway.  My reservation towards picking this is that she would have to finish 5th in this match, and I have a hard time buying Hana would start out her STARDOM run with a loss, and losing her faction.  Again, it is the easiest and probably the best solution for the stipulation, and Hana being underneath someone else could make for good storylines going forward.  One of the possibilities is challenging someone for the faction's leadership.

JAN dissolving makes the most sense to me than anything else.  Reading into their being no JAN merchandise at the US show, and them not really doing much.  Their roster is 6 people deep though, and perhaps increasing it to 8 would provide more ways to get them back the artists or goddess titles.

I am not evaluating the likelihood of QQ or Oedo Tai dissolving because I refuse to believe it will happen.

Things I did not predict for the draft pool:
Hana picking first, taking Hazuki (especially if Oedo Tai loses the dance)
Natsuko for Hana's team?
Hana renaming her team to something like Kimura-Gun
