Taiga lays a hand on Ashera's shoulder from behind.

"I heard you like hurting kids." He YANKS back as hard as possible, a four knuckle shuffle aiming to slam into her face as soon as she turns around. A complete and utter lack of tact on his part, but an action he feels completely vindicated in doing.

[15:23] La'Ahad plays an alarming note with his sound magic and draws his staff. Whether someone was accused of crimes or not, there was never a legal exception to the neutrality of Crafthold.

[15:25] Ashera would start to be yanked. Ashera would take a small breath. As she would begin to grab Taiga's arm, and would give the samurai a shoulder throw in return. She didn't like being assaulted by someone who didn't have power in crafthold.

"Quit it. My intention was never to harm the child in the first place."

If Taiga would continue on, She would activate her aura and act accordingly.

[15:26] Nasu stood to the side and monitored the scene, given fair warning now.

He watched closely, the moment Tiaga showed intent was the moment Nasu flashed a fiery sword in hand and approached him, his nyeshk gauntlets clenched.

"HEY!" He yelled out at Taiga, "Don't touch her!" His voice was demanding and stern but of course someone like Taiga wouldn't listen to Ashera's son, no.. unless he would.

"I'll defend her and the family name if you try to assault my mother in this city, you folk always don't care for the laws here, I know that!"

[15:26] Emily Bell says, "No fighting in Crafthold please."
[15:26] Ashera Ixis says, "Nasu. I will handle this."
[15:31] Taiga is thrown, giving the two some much needed distance from eachother. Landing on his feet, Taiga is still clearly pissed, glaring at Ashera as the crowd starts to form around them. The two magi were ready to go at each others throats, from the looks of things... but Taiga doesn't reach for his sword. Nor does his magic flare.

"Your family attacked my family." he throws towards Nasu.

"They aren't even an officer of the law. Your intentions were to arrest a child. Something you had no right to even THINK of. Then you HURT HER!" Taiga hisses!

"I'd be no worse than scum if I let my family spill blood for nothing. Then again. I suppose Ashera has quite the history of not caring what happens to children, huh?"

[15:32] Ashley whipped her staff off of her back and wrapped an arm around Conchita, trying to comfort her.

"Don't worry, little one. Its going to be alright, alright? Taiga, apologise for punching her. You KNOW that short of an honor duel, there is NO violence allowed in Crafthold."

[15:33] Ashera Ixis says, "If he wants an honour duel so be it."
[15:33] Ashera Ixis says, "Though I wanted to formerly apologize."
[15:33] Conchita says, "O-okay."
[15:33] Conchita says, "That's- It's okay, you can- g-g-go now. Please don't go to jail, Taiga..."

[15:39] In another display of terrible timing, Est Kang emerges from her house in the west, walking with a slow and frankly pathetic gait along a street full of stalls and merchants. The wares don't interest her today; her attention is singularly devoted to the Ixis pair, so much so that she doesn't even take notice of Taiga presumably breaking the law.

As she came closer to the scene, she planted her cane into the ground and leaned forward on it. Pitch-black eyes stared for a moment, before she gave a simple: "...Good afternoon." She was silent then, head tilting occasionally as she considered all the possible moves on the chess board. A brief glance was given to Taiga, but then he was summarily ignored again.

In the most polite fashion possible, of course. It seemed he wasn't going to be jailed today - not by Est, anyway.

"You... tried to kidnap a child," the ghost droned on, obsidian gaze falling back onto Ashera. "I have... no idea why you then thought it was a good idea to stroll in and... 'apologize.' That's enough trauma for one day, I think-" She trailed off, looking over to Conchita hiding behind Ashley. A nod was given to the Ookami, and then her attention was back on Ashera. "What is wrong with you? You... obviously do not fit in well among my people, I think," she continued on, leaning even further onto her cane still. "Perhaps it is best if the both you just go."

[15:40] Ashera Ixis says, "Thats not kidnapping if the law states that neries should be detained dear."

[15:41] Cordelia Avitus says, "You can't just stroll somewhere your people don't have a say over and nab 'em."
[15:42] Taiga is DANGEROUSLY close to going absolutely apeshit. His heart is right in his head, pounding in his ears and every second he looks at Ashera he feels some insatiable fire surging through his muscles. Every fiber of his being was demanding he take this offer. His hand flexes. Clenches into a fist -- tight enough that blood begins dripping down from his palm.

His lips part, showing grit teeth -- he's about to say something ridiculous.

But he stops short. Hissing out a hot breath.

"I need to be alone." Taiga marches over to the jail. "I'm going to arrest myself." And kicks the door down.
