You're not that brave to be honest. It's not like lizard girls in general are swarmed with suitors, I imagine near every one is in a position where she'd happily take a weedy peasant and train him up into a warrior. You're not risking rejection. You're obviously not risking your life. You're not risking your sex because your intention is obviously to give it to her anyway.

Says who? I think you underestimate their competitiveness. I mean obviously it does nothing to the relationship status but they may just feel it's worth it to get back at you for your slight.

Just beware the shadowscale lizard girls, They were trained in combat from birth by their scoundrel elders, the proper angle to throw or kick dirt, how it differs to sand, how to stand with your back to the sun, how to seamlessly reflect light into your opponent's eyes with your blade. They're an odd bunch that see deviousness as honour and glory. You're right up their alley. Worst yet while one's scales are sacrosanct to most reptiles, the shadowscale have no qualms in painting their scales in the reds of firey hot heads, the greens of the honest, the goldens of the noble or the whites of the chivalrous. After all who expects the chivalrous lizardman to stab you as you're giving your name, or shouting out your move, or flaunting your skills?

Those shadowscales sound based AF.

It's a mixed term among lizard girls that expresses simultaneously a disdain for not falling in line with expectations and what's "right and an envy towards their freedom to do whatever they want and feel no shame or pressure. I think it would easily turn into a saying regarding such girls', like shaking your head and saying "There's shadow in her heart" or "black scaled" as an alternative to black hearted or less commonly black bellied.

The irony of this is it's an insult that's only effective to girls who aren't actually shadowscales, as a shadowscale, if not dedicated to pretending to be any other type of lizard girl, who is just being free in her natural colours so to speak, would only grin, shrug and probably call you a sissy.
