- "The ability to influence reality, through supernatural means, to attain a possible outcome, in at least one possible reality. It goes beyond what normal beings would consider 'impossible' but in the grand scheme of things, it cannot transcend impossibilities. If there is absolutely no reality where your goal exists in, if there is no way for it to come to being, even through imagination, then magic is futile.
- The goal is of course, to ascend into true manifestation of impossibilities. Your goal, my darling is to build the last floor of the Tower.
- But enough of that highly unspecific terminology. The Tower, is the Foundation of Magic. It is also called, in full, the Seven Floored Tower, and is one of the eight concepts governing the progress of creating your own magic. The other seven, are the Floors mentioned.
- The Tower analogy comes as from the fact that the seven other terms need to be developed one after another. Once the Sixth Floor is completed, the true magic comes to life. Nobody is known to have attained the Seventh Floor. Perhaps someone did, but they then became so great, we can no longer observe them clearly? Perhaps they could not handle the power and got erased? No...it could not have been such a gruesome fate. Besides, I am sure, if someone did, I'd have noticed it.
- So let us begin with the floors.
- ----------
- The Vessel Form is the first floor. You already have this, in the form of... you. The magic needs to originate from somewhere after all, and what other place for it than you.

- The Standing if the second floor. It explains how the magic operates. There are four primary Standings, although sometimes they are reduced to three: Actors, Thinkers, Rulers and Entities.
- -The Actor Standing signifies an active magic, based around feats. The brave knight slaying a dragon with his holy sword, is certainly of the Actor Standing, and his magic may well pertain to dragon slaying through said sword.
- -The Thinker Standing signifies a magic attained through rigorous mental, physical, spiritual or emotional training. The Thinker Standing studies sorcery well, and obeys a set of rules and costs to get it to work. The Thinker Standing users usually have some similarities in powers between one another.
- -The Ruler Standing signifies a magic that hails from a being that is, normally, magically 'higher' than the user. Usually power attained through contracts, or deities or anything of that sort fits here. It can be widely varied, but it's nature depends more on it's source, than it's user.
- -The Entity Standing is an odd one, it involves qualities inherent to the Vessel Form, that is the user hails from a magical species, or is naturally magical. This often comes as an innate gift, or sometimes from some odd transformation into, or fusion with a magical entity.

- The Crest, is the third floor. The Crest consists of a single word or concept, tied to the magic. Things like 'Fire', or 'Time' or even something as silly as 'Noodle'. The word itself does not have to tie to it's most accepted meaning, and it is often a reflection of the user's self. In this case, one may well see the straight 'Noodle' in question, as the "I", the representation of their universal self. One may associate Fire, with life, or Time with death. The possibilities grow, as the Crest grows, into the fifth floor.

- The Throne is the fourth floor. The Throne consists of a 'vessel form' in a way. After you ascend for the first time, to attain magic, you will be able to manifest in these other worlds, and occasionally return here. But while in whatever world you came from, or even here you appear quite normal, in the worlds below, you will look the form defined by your Throne. This form can be quite wild, and completely different from your normal, or original self.
- The Throne is composed by the essence of the other floors. As the middle floor of the Tower, it is the most key, and the one most easily reached by them all. Thus, the Throne Form resembles the one defined by the other six (technically five) floors.

- The Rite of Summoning, is the fifth floor. It elaborates upon the Crest, and gives the magic it's proper nature. Upon reaching the fifth floor, a quick description of the nature of the magic can be obtained. For one above example, focused around a Thinker Standing, and a Time Crest, perhaps it could be something like "creates time-traps, that cause anything that triggers them to slowly decay", to give a simple explanation.
- The Rite also allows the Throne Form in the fourth floor, to attain a personality, or soul of it's own. Those who have empowered their Throne and Rite, can even manifest their Throne Form BESIDES their Vessel Form. Kind of like a St....errm, forget I said that. The Rite and the Throne together, form the Greater Spirit, or Guardian. This is the entity that we seek to create (And it is the entity we seek to ascend).
- The Rite is also known as the Living Crest.

- The Tree of Aether is the sixth floor. The Aether is one of the primordial energies of the world. There is little else I can say about it without having this turn into a full blown lecture, but it 'flows', permeating the entirety of existence, and most forms of 'fuel' for lesser magic schools. The Tree of Souls, well... it's very simple really. If you created a specific branch of magic, with the first five floors, that is the trunk of the tree. The branches of the Tree are your 'spells' or abilities of a sort.
- The tree is constructed slowly, and over time as you gain more and more uses for your magic.

- The seventh floor is a mystery. Unfortunately, we still have no idea what to do with it. Hopefully you will."
