- Dev --- Confliction & Failure (Water Realization)
- [08:14] Orion had traveled far from Huangzhou, entering the Glade and even going the extra mile, heading up up into New Valmasia… He hid near the mountains, distressed, never feeling such betrayal, an entire mix of emotions... His eyes watered up with tears, his mind focused on the image of Kyrstina bearing the child of his master's, and his master wishing for her to be dead... It's as though Song had no heart, and Orion grew more conflicted each passing second.
- And so, he would try to focus his attention, hardly capable of drawing any of his most commonly used runes upon the three trees before him... His heart felt as though it were shattered, his spirit broken and weeping in sorrow over the events that took place in the Glade...
- Orion trembled up until the very last Glyph/Rune was drawn... His eyes watered up, gritting his teeth and pressing his nails into the runes of the tree... This was being done in an attempt to calm himself down, but it seems like it only made him twice as frustrated with the world... He was reckless at this time, pouring his energy in like a chaotic river, nowhere near calm and steady, but more so like enraged and rigged....
- Orion Sinclair rolled a dice and it landed on: 3
- "Damn it! Damn my useless ass weakness! Why can't I create a simple Sentinel?! I can't protect the Glade like this... I just can't!"
- Though he poured his mana into the runes, nothing happened, and it was at that very moment... Orion nearly fell to his knees, pouring in his energy reserves as if tomorrow would never come... He yelled, angered and hurt, he yelled like a warrior at the top of his lungs.
- "OOuuuaaa!!!! Kraus! Azrael, Fox Deity, All Gods! Why won't you give me strength?! Why won't you lend me your wisdom?! Why must you make us so flawed?!"
- Tears fell from Orion's cheeks as he stares into the sky and beyond the horizon sitting over the sea... He poured his energy into the runes once more, only to get a slight budge from the tree and water merging together as one... His project was more so like the Skurn beast... Elemental but accessible to humans, not needing to be sentient as a true Skurn would.
- "You want my sanity?! For me to turn on the rest of the world?! I'll do anything, just bless me with your wisdom to create proper guardians' for the Glade, to create Sentinels'!" Shouting in desperation, Orion eventually fell onto his back, having used too much energy for a bad and failed result... His mind was far too clouded, troubled by what may happen to both sides of the same fight.

- [09:49] With Orion making his visit to the settlement of Huangzhou, he decided it would be of his best interest to try and train once again... His mind was still foggy, his mind still clouded with rage, so much so that when he wrote the new inscriptions for his Glyph Runes, they were more so words of violence and anger than they were of fellowship and protection of the Glade...
- 'Destruction...'
- 'Zero Prejudice'
- 'Creation bound by Sin'
- 'Horrific Mana'
- 'Sickening Human Ways'
- 'Absent of Compassion'
- Orion spoke these words with a soft tone, marking the three trees before him, using his water magic to try and fuel them. He did this as a sort of mana-science, trying to see what sort of reaction he would get this time.. He knew that for every action there was a reaction, but now... He acted simply out of spite and anger, now with a desire to gain such a power for the goal of beating Alexandrea down one day... Maybe then, she would consider him more than just a Gladeling….
- With might, with this Sentinel, he could defend his people, he could show the Glade, his home that fighting would not always be necessary... He wanted to show them a new way of life... Orion now knew that if he were to ever succeed in such events, then he would secretly pass on his gift to the heir of each generation... To his descendants whenever he decided to have any.
- This thought process made him focus, but in a corrupted way... At first, he couldn't get ahold of the process, but once after his fifth attempt... The tree emerged from the ground, taking on the form of a skurn as water mixes into its body... This being only survived for so long as the runes quickly lost their charge, causing it to shatter into a thousand wooden pieces... Orion finally understood the evil and destruction of nature, but he always learned what evil lies within his own experiment...
- "Were my prayers answered?" He asked himself, still very angry at the fact that his master wanted Kyrstina dead, someone who was bearing a child... And standing idle as Alexandrea brushed the poor woman's face into the dirt... This made Orion seek out the power of a Sentinel even more... He became hungry, starved for such a devastating force, and with Adsila guiding him, Orion felt as if he could one day achieve such feats... But now? His rage drove him like a car, pushing him to try out the most insane methods.

- [23:28] Standing near the waters of the beach, the young Glade knight felt a hint of sympathy and joy still lingering within his heart... With a single hand grabbing tightly onto his own chest, Orion spoke to himself. "If I am to defeat my masters' and obtain power over the Glade... I must first change myself, into something worthy of a title..."
- At that moment, Orion took a knee, placing both of his hands into the water, allowing his mana to manipulate the energy within the sea ever so slightly. This was done to forge the runic markings and link them to himself, providing a source of mana for the initial process...
- Orion Sinclair rolled a dice and it landed on: 2
- And although Orion poured his heart and soul into the making if these runes, he failed, wasting energy without even creating a single skurn. He panted heavily, looking at his hands, wondering what it was that he did wrong, "By the gods... I will have this power, one way or another..."
- He would go about on the beach, drawing the runes within the sand, repeating his initial attempt with a bit of assistance from his other abilities. Soon after, Orion placed his hands into the water, channeling his mana into the sea, becoming both calm and patient... "Like the Ocean of Time, you will help me bring new beginnings into this world..."
- Orion Sinclair rolled a dice and it landed on: 5
- At was at that moment, after an hour of trying to manipulate the body of water through his runes. The water crashing against the shore soon eventually took form... Sort of like a blob made of water at first, but it's mana created eyes would glow a bright yellow... Though this was only a test, and the beings body had not been complete, not until Orion has gained a better grasp upon it.
- "I will have my bloodline known for such a treasure of secrets, even if this will cost me an arm or leg."
- However, just like the rest of his incomplete projects, this water skurn like creature eventually fell apart, becoming water once more... If anyone spotted such a large creature, they would probably assume it to be an evil demon... "Goodness, Kruas, what in the blue blazin' must I do from here?!"
- (Orion Sinclair)
- [04:28] At the end of his turmoil, Orion made his way back to the beach after his little misadventure, having finally found himself to rival in power, someone to keep him going, pushing him to make sure he would not be surpassed... Orion had many of these thoughts in mind, especially considering the fact that there were many other rune-scribes in the world. He gave it some thought, he meditated on the idea, he finally grew calm, coming to a serene state of mind despite the large pool of anger he had built up against his masters'...
- Young Orion made sure of one thing and one thing alone, that he would carry out his experiments, his training, his goal to find a Sentinel for the Glade and perhaps, a family heirloom of some sort... He knew that if he were to succeed, then it would impact the history of the Glade as he knows it, but will he be able to achieve such a dormant ability and awaken the potential within the runes... Only one could tell, and that was father time, he who reigned over the world and all within it, he who sailed all corners of the Time-Ocean...
- Orion kneeled down before the vast deep blue, staring off into the horizon, he would then utilize his use of water magic and runic energy to forge a number of numerals and words in the old language, the universal language of the Glyph... Capable of manipulating the mana of the universe at an expert level, Orion had no issue making the following set of Glyph's upon the water's surface, a set of energy created symbols floating about, searching for a purpose. The Glyph's translated as:
- 'Ocean body'
- 'Wisdom of Time'
- 'Spirit of the world'
- 'Child o' nature'
- 'Given thy form'
- 'Defender of Glade'
- 'Sentinel'
- 'Rhinoceros Beetle'
- 'Strong-Hold'
- 'Passing Serpent'
- 'Knightly Code'
- 'Soaring Eagle'
- 'Sworn Duty'
- 'Loyal Shepard'
- 'Balance of Nature'
- 'Lively Element'
- With a serene state focus, and a passion now stronger than ever after resolving his own anger and focusing such adrenaline towards his project, the young Glade Knight Orion poured his heart and soul into those set of Glyph Runes. Both calm and steady with the strength of a rushing river flow, he channeled his energy reserves into the runes and made a connection within the large body of water, this would be done until a shape had been given... And soon after, this shape would take form, resembling that of a mortal warrior... Much like the tree's he would combined, this figure hailed from the water, and maintained a profound connection with it as it's source of mobility as well as it's source of power, Orion could only maintain it for so long....
- Orion Sinclair rolled a dice and it landed on: 2
- He struggled greatly at first, wasting his energy along the way, causing the great skurn like beast to collapse and become one with the large body of water once more... This proved as a clear sign to Orion that nothing would come so easily... He fell to his knees, panting for a bit, but he was determined, he would rise back up, clap his hands together and try again until he would be able to forge a body out of the water and mobilize it to his desired results of the experiment.
- Orion Sinclair rolled a dice and it landed on: 5
- As he poured his energy into the water and Glyph's establishing a new and more profound connection, Orion noticed that this time the water not only took form, but it had also gained more human and monster like features... Sharp fangs of water as well as large hands and eyes as wide as a giant squid, something most would be proud of but Orion was frightened by his own experiment... It reminded him of a dream he once had long ago... One where the giant water creature he created ran rogue from his own energy and obeyed only the runes, destroying everything in it's path... It flooded the Glade, causing great devastation with a powerful tsunami, something Orion had feared would come true and is the main reason why he worked on his experiment with trees....
- Orion Sinclair rolled a dice and it landed on: 6
- Although he was frightened, he didn't fall any more, instead he stood up and embraced the possible dangers of his own experiment, pouring even more energy and focus into the Glyph marks. He tried to stabilize the massive man-made-elemental. His efforts would not go in vein as the young Glade Glyph-Scribe managed to successfully create a proper mana-circuit, making it so that this skurn like elemental would be capable of roaming about on it's own for a while... Much like a steam skurn, this creature was not made by the trees but rather by the sea, something Orion was MUCH more aligned with given his experience with the use of water magic behind the sword... The giant water skurn or rather the water elemental roamed the beach for approximately two minutes before slowly reverting back to it's water state... Slowly but surely, this creature became one with the ocean once more... Orion was terrified yet exalted by the results, wondering if he'll ever grasp the concept of creating such Sentinels for the Glade, something that would potentially replace an army and offer more promising guardians.
- "Mother...Everyone... I will never be the same once my goal is achieved... Our enemies, they will know tragedy... My bloodline to come, they will carry my secrets...And so begins the Sinclair curse..."
