WHAT TO WRITE
The theme of this writing competition is Believe: The Promise of Gwinnett. While students are not responding to a
specific prompt, they should write about “promise.” For example, What do you believe in? Why is important to believe in
others? How does your beliefs system shape your future? How does your family encourage your dreams? Why should
people strive to fulfill their promise? Why do you believe public education is important? What do you hope to do with your
education?
