- <KamenWriter> Okay, so Charlotte.
- <KamenWriter> You are wandering around. Where did you go?
- Charlotte mostly windowshops, though without as much enthusiasm as yesterday.
- <KamenWriter> "You seem down."
- <KamenWriter> OH HEY, it's Harry when did he get there?
- Ranger_Rex ([email protected]) has joined #CharlotteTalk
- Charlotte jumps.
- <Charlotte> "Mr. Harry." She sounds a little less pleased than before.
- <KamenWriter> "Something got you rattled? I assume your friends tole you about me."
- <Charlotte> "Indeed, and apparently someone has told you of them, too."
- <KamenWriter> "Word gets around, even small fries are fries."
- <KamenWriter> "It's too bad yer friends didn't make that arrangement of theirs. I was hopin' to get to work together with you."
- <KamenWriter> *Arrangement of ours
- <Charlotte> "So, we're nothing but fish to you? That's a pity."
- <KamenWriter> "Hell, if you're a fish, I'm a whopper."
- <KamenWriter> "I got way more prices on my head than'll ever get collected."
- <Charlotte> "That bein' said, I expect we'll just solve the problem here and move on, either together or separately."
- <Charlotte> "Bragging doesn't become you, Mr. Harry."
- <KamenWriter> "An broodin' ain't so becoming of you. Why don't you say what's on your mind?"
- <Charlotte> "I already have, Mr. Harry. At length.'
- <Charlotte> "I'm afraid I'm a bit busy now. Shopping for..." She pauses to look in the window of the store she stopped in front of. "Shoe polish."
- <KamenWriter> "You think I'm just makin' eyes at you cuz' yer some enemy o' mine ripe for the backstabbin'?"
- <KamenWriter> "Is it still about them legal troubles? Maybe about them other legal troubles in that small town?"
- <Charlotte> "I think I have enough trouble with my friends to be wastin' time on my-"
- <Charlotte> "No. It is not."
- <KamenWriter> "Well, I hate to see someone in distress, long as they ain't got it comin' to them."
- <KamenWriter> "You ain't gotta tell me, o' course, that's your choice."
- <KamenWriter> "But thinkin' about it all on yer lonesome ain't a good way to be."
- <Charlotte> "The best sort of thinking is the sort you do when your mouth is closed, I've found. I ain't too smart, but I've never put stock in gossip, even about myself."
- <KamenWriter> "Well, call me newfangled I guess. I don't think it's gossip when you're sayin' it to feel better."
- <KamenWriter> You hear someone clear their throat behind you
- Charlotte turns around again. "Oh, I was just waitin' for you."
- <KamenWriter> Sally stands there, D: "Um. Charlotte? I don't believe you've introduced me to the gentleman."
- <Charlotte> "Sally, this is Mr. Harry. Mr. Harry, this is my friend Sally Ann."
- <KamenWriter> "Pleasure to meetcha."
- <KamenWriter> Sally :<s, recognizing the name, "Likewise I'm sure."
- <Charlotte> "Anyway, Sally, we should go pick up that order we made now, I think."
- <KamenWriter> He then turns towards you one last time, "You ain't gotta respond, Miss, but if you would do me the pleasure there's a lovely restaurant next door to this shoe polish store you love so much."
- <KamenWriter> "Don't got to come, but I'll be there tonight."
- Charlotte takes Sally's arm in her own and starts steering her off, pausing when she hears that. "I'd hate for you to be lonely, Mr. Harry."
- <KamenWriter> He waves, and smiles, before walking off himself, "Goodbye for now."
- Charlotte shakes her head as soon as she's sure he's out of earshot. "I thought he'd never leave."
- <KamenWriter> "Wasn't that the blue rapidash man?" D:
- <Charlotte> "It was."
- <Charlotte> "Like I said, better to see him goin' than coming."
- <KamenWriter> "Did he try... to make a date with you?" She suddenly smiles.
- <Ranger_Rex> (STOP THAT SHIPPING)
- <Ranger_Rex> (STOP IT RIGHT NOW)
- <Ranger_Rex> (Rex is too bro with Viktor to let something like that happen :<)
- <Charlotte> "He just wants information outta me." Charlotte sounds dismissive.
- <KamenWriter> "Well, that makes sense I guess."
- <KamenWriter> "Either way, he probably ain't good for you."
- <Charlotte> "Hope he ain't too lonely when I don't show up. >:"
- <KamenWriter> "But what am I saying!? D: I came here to talk about what happened back there."
- <Charlotte> "...I figured you were."
- <KamenWriter> "Why'd you have to storm away from Edmund like that?"
- <Charlotte> "...what he's - SHE'S doin', ain't right, but I ain't gonna have a shout out with him in front of the others."
- <Charlotte> "Ain't ladylike."
- <KamenWriter> "Well, it ain't hi- he-... Oh I wish language had something for Edmund. It ain't THEIR fault. His parents raised him as a man from what I hear tell."
- <Charlotte> (sorry about that, browser locked up)
- <KamenWriter> (S'okay)
- <Charlotte> "..I know it ain't his fault, and I know it doesn't change him any, but...the thing is, if he's the same man - woman - whatever, he's still been practicin' perversion an' lyin' to us for all ths time."
- <Charlotte> "An' I can't get over that."
- <KamenWriter> "I have to say, when I found out he was a woman I was actually kinda relieved."
- <Charlotte> "It's different with you an' him, you know."
- <KamenWriter> "Then again, we was buyin' dresses, and I still thought he was a man, and It was a big relief when she ended up bein' the right gender for her clothes."
- <Charlotte> "...What do you think about all of this?"
- <KamenWriter> :I "Well... I don't LIKE it."
- <KamenWriter> "But I can understand what happened and what he's goin' through."
- <Charlotte> "Hmmm."
- <KamenWriter> "And, well..."
- <KamenWriter> "I went through a little tiny version of it."
- <KamenWriter> "So you gotta understand if I'm a little biased."
- <Charlotte> "It really ain't the same."
