  1. but I do have four suggestions for Samurai to make them have a lil more variety that don't contradict the canon in any way shape or form that I think would let them have more variety and really be more of a threat to Shinobi as they were in the canon or just to make a bit more sense.
  2. 1. Iaido should scale with Combat Prof - Samurai in the canon generally knew Iaido, not the shit where they gently moved their sword in its sheath and a whole mountain is sliced in half but the fighting style, my suggestion is has it format something like this while also reducing the price of Iaido
  3. Combat Prof 1: Draw and Defend in the same turn
  4. Combat Prof 2: Draw and Defend/Attack in the same turn
  5. Combat Prof 3: Draw and Defend/Attack and then Resheath in the same turn
  6. And an increasing benefit based on combat prof for doing said actions on the draw. Master of Body could probably be included in some way if you wanted an even more end tier Iaido or wanted to move the one on combat prof 3 to it

  8. 1.5. Hand to Hand isn't a very useful perk, sure you can purchase, like, the medical tree but thats only really useful for going like some sort of niche like using poisons or making fancy pills, which are both a bit expensive in tota for someone to just run down to justify getting the hand to hand perk without that basically being your gimmick.

  10. 2. Samurai Sabre should more to it and be more versatile, not only in what shapes it can take but the weapons it can be used on - The only different forms it has is Katana and Nodachi, Katana offering really nothing but flavor and the Nodachi only giving an additional step to damage while Samurai were able to perform multiple different Shape transformations and had improved striking range with it at base. It should also be able to be used with things Kusarigama and other Samurai weapons, this also partially is applicable to my next suggestion but I want to emphasize it.
  11. .
  12. 3. Allow Samurai Sabre to be used on bows - Though this one I don't have much canon basis, Samurai are pretty limited in terms of ranged options since Samurai Sabre doesn't have a ranged attack tagged onto it or that you can learn from the database from what I can see and I think this combined with my next suggestion will be able to give Samurai a lot of variety.
  13.
  14. 4. Probably my most controversial suggestion for Samurai, Allow Samurai Sabre to have a Nature Transformation applied to it - There's nothing in the canon that says they can't or that it's against their code or that it magically makes Samurai Sabre a ninjutsu and both Samurai and Shinobi in the canon originate from the same place, Ninshu, the teachings of the sage of six paths. This'd make Samurai a lot more interesting and have more variety to them and be more realistically a threat to Shinobi and it conceptually is the exact same as Naruto turning Rasengan into Rasenshuriken, it'd just be taking a technique that accentuates shape transformation and applying nature transformation onto it and it can even be tagged on to Samurai Sabre Master if need be. There are also canonical moves that Samurai use that are basically already nature transformation techniques.

  16. Ok so these're my suggestions for Samurai
