Combat Talent: High Quality Minion; Maxilla has done her time as a soldier in the crystal guard, earning ranks in the organization and attracting a loyal follower to her side who will fight with their life. This allows her Cavalier minion to take a class and it's free skill and a 1 point skill along with two racials.
Noncombat Talent: Maxilla is a skilled and through soldier and she has a natural grasp of the art of warfare, but at the same time her heart is soft and longs for some sort of connection. She has an 'odd' ability to empathize with others for an one whos talent lays in combat as no one knows of her true heritage.

Skills: Pure Bonus, Grappler: passive; Trained in melee and close quarters combat, you overpower foes easily in such situations. You have +1 to all rolls when making non-combat actions to grapple, subdue, restrain, or in any way preventing a target from moving with your own body. You can apply this bonus in combat to remove an enemy from combat without killing them, but only when they’re the only enemy in their zone and helpless, or on very low health.

Free Skill, Slam: recharge 1; Crush an enemy with your body, dealing damage. Crits on 9+.

Martial Defender: passive; You gain 3 Max Hits, and Slam Crits on 8+.

Counter: instant automatic, self, recharge 3; Prepare yourself to intercept an enemy’s attack next turn. If they make a single target attack, you cancel the attack and any effects it would have had and gain a Bonus Action for Slam that turn against that target, allowing you to use Slam even if you do not know it.

Cavalier: locked, passive; The exotic warrior. The fabled fighter. The knight and their trusty steed. There are many tales of the lone master, or a duo with their companion at their heels, having the strength of armies. You are one of those. When learning this skill you must choose whether you are the lone knight, or have minion who aids you;Knight & Minion: You have a powerful minion that aids you in combat. They have 4 Hits, 4 Wounds, and all Doctrines from Cavalier apply to them. You can only have one Cavalier Minion. If your minion dies, you may find another creature to take as your minion, and you can choose a new set of Doctrines for them.

Doctrines: -Unbreakable: passive; You only take 4 hits of counterattack damage from Crit Fails, instead of instantly being rendered helpless

-Unmatched: passive; Whenever your roll result and an enemy’s match, lower the enemy’s roll by 1.

-Tactician: passive; A master of strategy and planning. At the start of combat, declare a number X. On turn X of combat, you gain +X to all actions that turn. This replaces all other modifiers you would have on those actions that turn.

Skills:Heal: recharge 1, spell; Restore a target’s hits to full. On Crit restore a wound as well. Crit Fail deals a wound of damage to the target.

Mend: recharge 1, spell; Stitch an body back together with magic, regenerating grievous injuries such as lost extremities, damaged vital organs, and internal bleeding. This also restores a wound on your target, and can act as a recovery roll on a helpless target. On Crit you fix up your target better than they were before, giving them 2 Temporary Hits.

Bio:Where to begin on the interesting character of Maxilla... the result of a tryst between a particularly potent unicorn and a changeling queen, she ended up a rare hybrid of the two races, belonging to neither and finding comfort with the others a bit difficult. She ended up mostly forsaking her previous hive and living her life as a unicorn, working her way up in the Crystal Guard to get a feel for a life of balance for them all. It was during this time she met Ebony, who quickly became enamored with the stern yet oddly welcoming mare and swore himself to her service.
