The only thing that went well today

Covet: Eli was sitting in a booth with a plate of pancakes in front of him. They were supposed to be making him feel better in all their strawberry and banana goodnesss, but he was barely halfway through them.
Tsaaq: Bliss picked at her pancakes and released a heavy sigh. She slowly turned her head to look over at Eli. "Not hungry?" She asked him as she nodded to his plate.

Covet: "Not really. Just kind of bummed. Today was a long emotional day." He told her, putting an arm around her shoulders so he could pull her in for a kiss.
Tsaaq: "What can I do to make you feel better? Take the edge off?" She asked as she moved closer to him and put her fork down. "I know it's been very hard for everyone."
Covet: "You're doing a lot already that is helping. Your support has been more than enough help." He told her pulling her in close for a hug, leaning back into the corner. "It has, but we should be on the up swing now. We'll hear back in a week on their assement for how long she'll have to be there."
Tsaaq: Bliss pressed her lips together a moment before smiling. "It will all go well from here. I'm sure." She said as she kissed his cheek. "Nothing to fret about anymore."
Covet: "Well, one less thing to fret about." He said with a chuckle, and rubbed her arm. "I need to check in on Tae more. But, now that Mom's taken care of I can work on that."
Tsaaq: "I agree but don't suffocate her. She won't like it." Bliss said as she picked up her fork once more. "We should keep a keener eye on Tae though. I feel as if we haven't been as attentive as we should."
Covet: "Yeah I feelt he same. I kind of just wanted to enjoy the break with you. Selfish and totally worth it. But now that we're back, we should definitely be more aware of what she's up to." Eli said. "It's not something I want to just put on Adam's shoulders. He's got enough to worry about without me adding my problems to them."
Tsaaq: Bliss shook her head. "I don't want her to feel like we're just trying to invade her life at the same time. That's another reason why I've been avoiding that." She frowned. "She hates when it even seems like we're treating her like she's a child."
Covet: "Mhhm. It's a fine line to walk. She's become more assertive when it comes to her making sure she's heard. I'm sure we'll find the right balance." He said then looked at his plate. He pulled out his wallet to leave a more generous than usual tip since they hadn't finished their foods and soggy pancakes are no bueno. "I don't know about you, but I'm ready to head home, and curl up in bed with you."
Tsaaq: She nodded her head quietly. Bliss smiled at him again and began to slide out of the booth. "I would very much love to cuddle the rest of the night away." Bliss said, blowing him a kiss.
Covet: "Then let us make haste, My Love." He said as he climbed out of the booth with her so that they could go home and do the nice coupley things.
