  1. RosenkrantzGM IT IS THE 41ST MILLENNIUM...
  2. RosenkrantzGM It has been a week since the camp was set up at Erwinfall. Earthworks have been added by Dynastic troops under the command of Lord Chomun, and nearby woods have provided raw material for makeshift defenses in addition to that which has been brought down from the flagship. Lord Wilhelm has spent the majority of his time surveying the planet, in small expeditions, often accompanied by his friend Varenus Grandier. Dynastic scribes have been tasked with cataloging the various geological features of the planet, and the fauna and flora discovered and named by the two noblemen-explorers.
  3. RosenkrantzGM In an attempt to ease the stress of ship-to-surface communications, the Mechanicus priests have set up a receiver and transmission tower on the peak of a hill overlooking Erwinfall Lake.
  4. RosenkrantzGM The most recent of the successful transmissions have come from the priestess Katherine, who has analyzed the information she gathered in her short scouting trip to the abandoned voidstation. She reports that the emphasis of extra power transistors and backup generators on comms, reception panels, and auger arrays indicate that it is likely an STC Monitor Station.
  5. RosenkrantzGM Impatient, and unsatisfied with the trouble the solar and magnetic field anomalies have nonetheless given both comms and the ship's augery systems, Wilhelm has determined that finding a way to put the station to use is imperative.
  6. RosenkrantzGM The large black Raven calls and flies out and away from Wilhelm's pavilion, away from the commotion. It appears one last cut transmission has condemned the Lord-Captain's portable vox. You can hear the comms equipment being abused.
  7. RosenkrantzGM The sight of it flying out of the pavilion's entrance and onto a boulder outside confirms its destruction to you.
  8. RosenkrantzGM "Master Ziel!" Wilhelm's voice calls loud, across the camp.
  9. RosenkrantzGM He storms out of his quarters, not yet fully dressed.
  10. Neue-Ziel hears and approaches the Lord-Captain.
  11. Neue-Ziel "Yes, My Lord-Captain?"
  12. Varenus_Grandier is sitting in his tent, organizing his notes when he hears the call. He peeks out curiously
  13. RosenkrantzGM "There you are, Master Ziel... my vox appears to have had a catastrophic anomaly," he says, looking beside you, where the remains of the brutalized equipment made contact with the unforgiving ground.
  14. Baine_Mort exits his tent to see what's going on.
  15. Neue-Ziel "I think you killed the machine spirit."
  16. RosenkrantzGM Out rushes one of his aides, carrying a tunic for the Lord-Captain to put on.
  17. Neue-Ziel starts to cry a little.
  18. RosenkrantzGM He takes the garments and puts them on his bare upper body. As he fastens it with the many buttons on it, he looks up to you.
  19. Neue-Ziel takes a look at the vox to try and save it.
  20. RosenkrantzGM "This situation will simply not do. The tower has only helped with transmissions between vox systems on the planet's surface. Staying in contact with the bridge is..." he looks down to secure the last of the buttons, "is simply infuriating."
  21. RosenkrantzGM "Infuriating," he repeats looking up at you once more.
  22. Neue-Ziel starts praying to the Machine spirit and the Omnissiah.
  23. Varenus_Grandier quickly gets dresses and makes his way outside and to the group
  24. RosenkrantzGM He takes a few paces forward, closing the distance between you two. "Find me a solution, Master Ziel. Quick, or by the Emperor, I'll have the Aurorae make planetfall!"
  25. Makh_Chomun is jogging around the perimeter, a troop of armsmen and mercs in tow.
  26. Varenus_Grandier "Hello my Lord."
  27. RosenkrantzGM "Lord Grandier," Wilhelm says, breaking eye contact with the Enginseer for a moment, "hello. Lovely morning, is it not?"
  28. Neue-Ziel finishes his prayer.
  29. Varenus_Grandier "Indeed it is." He looks sympathetically to Ziel, " Any way I can be of assistance?"
  30. Neue-Ziel "No, this spirit has been put to rest."
  31. Baine_Mort watches Ziel pray to the vox.
  32. Caerwyn_Beraht waltzs into the pavillion, censure swinging and gear jingling. A smug, satisified grin stretches across his face as he sees the situation unfolding before him. "Perhpas you should try lighting some incense, boffin."
  33. RosenkrantzGM "Damnable machine..." Wilhelm says, breaking away from the two and walking back into his quarters to finish clothing himself.
  34. Caerwyn_Beraht adjusts his impeccable coifure before patting Neue on the back. "Or perhaps you should try and devote thyself to the one true God, the God-Emperor as he is understood by Saint Interlocutus."
  35. Varenus_Grandier "Good morning priest, the heathens accepting the Emperors light?"
  36. Neue-Ziel "My Lord-Captain, I believe the Leader Magos Enginarium Katherine may have uncovered something on board the abandoned void station."
  37. RosenkrantzGM The Raven lands on the boulder just outside the tent, and begins to maliciously peck at the remains of the vox.
  38. RosenkrantzGM From inside, the Lord-Captain calls back, "Do what you must to get that thing to work! Do not bother me with the details!"
  39. Lucrezia emerges from her pavillion as she buttons the last part of her coat. She curiously looks at the remains of the communications equipment resting against a boulder as she walks into Wilhelm's pavillion. "What happened with that vox back there?"
  40. Varenus_Grandier "The Lord Captain happened." he says cheerfully
  41. Neue-Ziel "Sadness, fear, and death."
  42. RosenkrantzGM "Lady Lucrezia..." Wilhelm sighs, "the communications situation is unsustainable," he walks out fully clothed now.
  43. Baine_Mort "Yea, its life was cut short I guess."
  44. Caerwyn_Beraht "Not yet, our most honorable mutant, but soon. Matters concerning the faithful are why I am here." Caerwyn folds his arms and slumps, a little dejected by Neue's complete indifference to his taunting. "Good day, Lady Lucrezia....ah, Lord Captain! I must have words."
  45. Neue-Ziel "I'm surrounded by savages."
  46. RosenkrantzGM "If you can make yourself of use to the Enginseer, my Lady, you would do us all a service." Turning to the young priest, "Is something the matter, Caerwyn?"
  47. Makh_Chomun From the distance you can hear Makh calling out to various men and women to keep up.
  48. Lucrezia "Those are a rather bad combination." She then salutes Wilhelm. "I take it the communications tower didn't help much?"
  49. Makh_Chomun "CREAM OF THE CROP, PEOPLE, HUSTLE TO! ONE, TWO, ONE, TWO!"
  50. RosenkrantzGM "No, indeed not. A delicate situation has developed aboard the Aurorae which requires that I remain in /reliable/ contact with the bridge. And that is not the case... not in the slightest."
  51. Neue-Ziel goes through his data-slate, looking at the reports on the void station.
  52. Lucrezia "Shall we head up to the Aurorae, then, your Lordship? And, if it wouldn't be much trouble. I'd like to have some words with you at some point."
  53. Caerwyn_Beraht 's face darkens a little, and a sigh heaves forth from his chest. "Well, Lord Wilhelm, with your blessing I would like to have some leave to minister to the spirits of the peoples upon this-I mean YOUR planet. I think recent events have made things rather..." Caerwyn trails off, letting the implication hang.
  54. RosenkrantzGM "Nurture your attachments to the savages however you please, Lord Beraht," Wilhelm's body language somewhat dismissive.
  55. Neue-Ziel "Lord-Captain, the void station appears to have a comm network. It is probably calibrated to handle the conditions of this system. If we can activate it, the station can act as a relay between the surface and the holy vessel."
  56. RosenkrantzGM "Good enough for me," he nods then turns to Lucrezia, "get in contact with Lord Chomun, let him know I am going to the Aurorae, and to prepare a squad of the Guard. All of you should come along, too." he says now turning to everyone.
  57. Baine_Mort "The only problem Ziel is that there may be more of thoughts old servitors still on that station, and who knows if they are really hostile or not."
  58. Neue-Ziel glared at Mort and says "Silence."
  59. Lucrezia nods sharply and salutes before running off in search for Chomun.
  60. Varenus_Grandier "With all due respect my lord, what use would I be on this mission?"
  61. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm approaches Grandier, and leans in close, saying in a low tone, "There are... delicate matters in which you may be of help."
  62. Varenus_Grandier nods and leaves to prepare his gear
  63. Baine_Mort looks back on Ziel, "Well I suppose you want to get overrun by those things then?"
  64. Neue-Ziel "You know nothing, Mort."
  65. Caerwyn_Beraht Taken sideways by Wilhelm's disinterest, the absolutely livid Caerwyn makes a curt bow before storming out of the pavilion, shaking his censer vigorously.
  66. Lucrezia rushes up next to Chomun, having some trouble keeping up. "Lord Chomun." She tries to adress with some light playfullness, even with the strain. "We are to return to the Aurorae. Ready a guard." She then stops and starts to catch her breath as he rushes ahead, no doubt.
  67. Baine_Mort "Yes, that is true but yet you have not encountered them while they are still functional."
  68. Makh_Chomun slows down the jogging group of men and women near one of the main entrances to the camp. "You're getting off lucky today!" Makh yells, with a savage grin. "You have the Lord-Captain and Lady Lucrezia for that. I expect you lot to be fitter by the time I come back!" With that Makh heads into the camp proper and organizes a guard.
  69. Makh_Chomun +If you wanted to join our exercise, you only had to ask, Sister!+
  70. Neue-Ziel "I will ease the machine spirit's pain. From Katherine's reports, 'it' didn't attack the boarding team."
  71. Baine_Mort "Yes, that does seem the case but when we arrived it hid itself from us."
  72. Lucrezia stands upright after regaining her breath, smiling. "I'll keep that in mind." With that, she gets ready to return to the ship as she uses a piece of cloth to dry some perspiration off.
  73. Varenus_Grandier finishes up packing equipment and donning his armour
  74. RosenkrantzGM With a few short flaps of its wings, the Raven lands between the Enginseer and Master of Ordnance, looking up at the two as they argue.
  75. Varenus_Grandier +Ready when you are.+
  76. Makh_Chomun towels himself off before getting a change of clothes and equipping his armor and weapons, with the help of Ensign Vellow. While doing so he organizes what will be the Lord-Captain's guard over the vox, and has them await in orderly rank just outside Wilhelm's pavilion.
  77. Neue-Ziel "You know nothing about the Machine Spirit and refrain from making comments Master of Ordnance."
  78. Neue-Ziel leaves to gather his equipment.
  79. RosenkrantzGM The Raven calls, as if angrily chastising Mort for his ignorance.
  80. Baine_Mort looks at the Raven menacingly.
  81. RosenkrantzGM The bird looks back at you.
  82. Baine_Mort growls at the raven.
  83. RosenkrantzGM Extending its wings, it hops forward and pecks at your feet.
  84. Makh_Chomun approaches from behind Baine, a look of curiosity across his face. He places a hand on the Master-of-Ordinances shoulder. "Something the matter, Mr. Mort?"
  85. RosenkrantzGM The Raven flaps its wings, and leaps up landing on the Master-At-Arm's shoulder.
  86. RosenkrantzGM It stares at Mort.
  87. Baine_Mort looks at Chomun "Yea, Ziel is not taking into considerations that the servitors could be dangerous that are on the station."
  88. Varenus_Grandier exits the tent, as he does so the Binge(Which he hasn't given a personal name) Darts away from the entrance of the tent and directly towards the raven.
  89. Varenus_Grandier watches in horror as it attempts to eat the poor thing
  90. Makh_Chomun "Don't forget that his kind stop at nothing for new gizmo's. My boys and girls are trained for this sort of thing."
  91. RosenkrantzGM The Raven simply looks down at the mammal, gripping Makh's shoulder.
  92. Baine_Mort "Yes which is my point that he need to go in there prepared for the worse."
  93. Varenus_Grandier quickly rushes over and pulls the Binge off Makh, "My deepest apologizes my Lord! He is a rascal."
  94. RosenkrantzGM The Raven calls, low, in agreement.
  95. Varenus_Grandier Binge struggles in his hands for a moment then clambers to his shoulder and glares at the raven
  96. Makh_Chomun "No skin off my back, though I'd be careful, if the Lord-Captain's raven is hurt because of that, it getting skinned will be the least of your worries, old friend." With that he laughs heartily and goes to find the Captain.
  97. RosenkrantzGM "Got yourself a new pet, Lord Chomun?" Wilhelm teases as he exits his pavilion, in full gear.
  98. Makh_Chomun "Several it seems." Makh says with a grin.
  99. Varenus_Grandier +Lucrezia my dear, are you ready?+
  100. RosenkrantzGM "Has the Gun-Cutter been prepared? My commbead... it, too suffered an irreversible malfunction." Wilhelm explains.
  101. Lucrezia +For heading back to the Void? Certainly! Even have some of my lads coming along.+
  102. Neue-Ziel joins the group after gathering his equipment.
  103. RosenkrantzGM (flashback, Lord Wilhelm stomping on comm-bead earlier in the morning)
  104. Varenus_Grandier +Glad to hear, i'm glad for the extra help+
  105. Baine_Mort walks over to Chomun and Wilhelm.
  106. Lucrezia appears a few moments later in full armor, with a squad of her mercs in tow. "So, why are we heading back up, milord?"
  107. RosenkrantzGM He motions with his hands for you all to stand closer.
  108. Baine_Mort stands closer to Wilhelm.
  109. Lucrezia gets a bit closer.
  110. Varenus_Grandier moves closer, the binge hissing at Ziel
  111. Neue-Ziel "Disgusting Creature."
  112. RosenkrantzGM "There... appears to be a spy on board the Aurorae. There was incident with the Astropaths of the Choir Telepathica... but don't let that concern you. Once in orbit, I would much prefer you were to make yourselves useful in aid to Master Ziel."
  113. RosenkrantzGM +Gun-Cutter ready+ you hear the pilot announce in your comm-beads
  114. Makh_Chomun "As you will m'lord." Makh then motions for everyone to board.
  115. Baine_Mort give Wilhelm a nod and follows Chomun to the Gun-Cutter.
  116. Neue-Ziel enter the Gun-Cutter and straps himself in.
  117. Lucrezia looks at Wilhelm with a serious expression. "I'll need to hear more about this issue, my lord."
  118. Lucrezia then joins everyone in getting on the guncutter.
  119. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm steps inside, placing the Raven in a cage, and securing with a couple of straps. He finds himself a seat, then, and secures himself tightly.
  120. Makh_Chomun takes a seat nearer to the exit ramp. He then straps himself in.
  121. Lucrezia waits for her men to get onboard before strapping in."
  122. Varenus_Grandier clambers onto the ship, the binge resting on his shoulder
  123. Baine_Mort finds a seat and straps in next to Chomun.
  124. Varenus_Grandier straps himself in
  125. RosenkrantzGM The Cutter's engines purr with that low-frequency tone of theirs, and its fuselage rattles and vibrates as it finally achieves lift. A common flight-path by now, the pilot is able to smoothly transition out of the planetary atmosphere and into the void. Nearly used to it by now, the trip feels shorter this time along.
  126. RosenkrantzGM The tell-tale clang and whirs of the landing mechanisms and the locking arms on the Hangar signal tell you that you are securely inside the Aurorae's protective belly, before even the pilot announces +All clear, you may disembark+
  127. Makh_Chomun hits the ramp-open rune and procceeds out.
  128. Baine_Mort exits the Gun-Cutter and heads to his room
  129. Neue-Ziel heads toward his office to gather his notes.
  130. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm unfastens himself and releases his companion bird, which all-too-happily flies out of the confined space, stretching its wings in a wide-arc flight around the hangar space.
  131. RosenkrantzGM "Lady Lucrezia," Wilhelm motions for the Seneschal to approach.
  132. Varenus_Grandier unstraps himself and the binge and exits the craft
  133. Makh_Chomun Makh sticks around, shadowing the Lord-Captain's movements.
  134. Lucrezia nods and approaches, removing her helmet. "Yes?"
  135. RosenkrantzGM The slender mammal is hesitant, stopping just before the ramp's edge, freezing in place and sniffing around his new surroundings.
  136. RosenkrantzGM "You wished to have a word?" he inquires.
  137. Lucrezia "Two of them now. But the most pressing overall is the one regarding what was brought up before our flight. What do you know about this spy situation?"
  138. Baine_Mort arrives at his room, upon entering he gathers some stuff for the trip to the station. Looking around the room Baine grabs his hellgun looking it over before deciding to head out to Ziels office.
  139. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm turns to his Master-At-Arms, "Clear the Hangar, Makh. All staff. What I'm about to say is only for the ears of my most trusted advisers."
  140. Varenus_Grandier "What's the matter buddy?" he kneels next to the binge and strokes it's fur
  141. Neue-Ziel double checking his notes on the servitor.
  142. RosenkrantzGM The wild binge sniffs the Navigator's hand, and climbs up to his shoulder in a fraction of a second.
  143. Baine_Mort gets on his comm +Ziel, I need to speak to you.+
  144. Makh_Chomun +Armsmen clear all personnel, including yourselves. No one leaves or enters without me knowing.+
  145. RosenkrantzGM +Aye, sir+ the answer comes. Followed by a series of calls and shouts that echo throughout the hangar as personnel are herded out.
  146. Varenus_Grandier feeds the binge a little scrap of meat he brought with him and joins the others
  147. Neue-Ziel +I'm in my Office, you may visit. The security protocols will not deem you a threat..+
  148. Baine_Mort +Understood+ Baine continues to make his way to Ziel's office.
  149. RosenkrantzGM A rather insistent tech-priest is the last of the staff to be escorted, nay, /carried/ out of the Hangar.
  150. RosenkrantzGM A Sergeant-At-Arms runs a quick last run-through before standing by the entrance double-hatch and nodding to Chomun before taking his own leave and closing shutting the entryway behind him.
  151. Makh_Chomun nods back and then turns back to the Lord Captain. "All clearn, my lord."
  152. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm opens his hand in front of him, palm to the ceiling.
  153. RosenkrantzGM "Your comm-beads." he says, looking at all of you.
  154. Varenus_Grandier removes his comm-bead and hands it to the Lord Captain
  155. Makh_Chomun takes out his comm-bead, switching it off and hands it to Wilhelm.
  156. Lucrezia hands it over after turning it off.
  157. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm raises the index finger of his other hand, prompting you to wait, and walks back up the Gun-Cutter's landing ramp, returning just a few seconds later, leaving the devices inside the spacecraft.
  158. Makh_Chomun crosses his arms, waiting.
  159. RosenkrantzGM "We have had a breach," he says with a sigh.
  160. RosenkrantzGM "A serious one," he emphasizes, alternating eye-contact between you.
  161. Lucrezia gives one long whistle. "Any idea as to who we have to thank for this?"
  162. RosenkrantzGM "We have our suspicions, but nothing concrete," he beings. "The circumstances of the breach are most concerning. We have several dead astropaths, and..." Wilhelm looks up at Varenus, "at least one dead navigator."
  163. Makh_Chomun "So how do we proceed? Manhunt?"
  164. Varenus_Grandier "Do..do we know who was killed?"
  165. Varenus_Grandier "The name i mean..."
  166. Lucrezia looks rather concerned. "Now that is worrying... seems like this infiltrator might be trying to leave us stranded."
  167. Lucrezia "How long ago did this happen?"
  168. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm: "I'm afraid we may need you to identify the body. We suspect our location was given to someone. The navigator died holding charts belonging to House Grandier... new ones."
  169. RosenkrantzGM "I heard about it all this morning," he nods in reply to Lucrezia.
  170. Lucrezia "Hmm... all the more reason to get that station working, might serve as an early warning system."
  171. Varenus_Grandier "Are we talking as new as the ones created for this system?" he asks, suddenly pale
  172. RosenkrantzGM His body and that of the Astropaths were all in the same chamber. Their transmission of our location may have been the last thing they did." he pauses for a moment, "Indeed, my Lady. Annoyances with the planetary comms was not what gave me urgency to get the station repaired. But given the delicate nature of the situation, I cannot afford any of the staff to suspect anything."
  173. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm sighs.
  174. RosenkrantzGM "I'm afraid so, Varenus."
  175. Varenus_Grandier "Well, this criminal or criminals must be found and punished." he says swiftly." A determined look entering his eyes
  176. Lucrezia "I'd like to take a look at the corpses before we leave. The way they died might be a good clue."
  177. Makh_Chomun Makh's frown deepens as the Lord-Captain goes on, mad more at himself that such a breach in security occurred.
  178. RosenkrantzGM "Clean deaths, all save for the navigator. The work of a professional with little equal. They are still being analyzed by the genetors."
  179. Lucrezia "Again, I'd be more at ease by taking a look. For all we know, maybe the navigator is partly responsable."
  180. Makh_Chomun "It would fall under her purview my lord, as per her duties."
  181. Varenus_Grandier "I know the character of my subordinates very well, I don't believe any would be up to something such as this."
  182. RosenkrantzGM "The damage is already done, here. What we need most now is to be able to have eyes on every corner of this system. And for that, the station must be put to use, should the tech-priestess' report be accurate. Be quick and above all mind the need for discretion when examining the bodies," Wilhelm urges you.
  183. Varenus_Grandier "Yes my Lord."
  184. Makh_Chomun "Can the bodies wait, or shall those be examined before we head out?"
  185. Lucrezia "Security should be increased on the medicae deck while the studies are conducted. To avoid any tampering. I'll have a look at the results when we return."
  186. RosenkrantzGM "It is best you ready yourselves for Master Ziel's expedition. Do not delay him in any way."
  187. RosenkrantzGM "Oh, and one more thing," Wilhelm adds.
  188. RosenkrantzGM "Given the sensitive nature of all this, I would be more comfortable if only you were to be on that station with him. No staff, armsmen, or retainers."
  189. Varenus_Grandier "I have a feeling we might meet this assassin on the void-station, so be prepared." He says darkly.
  190. Lucrezia "Very well. Do please stay safe while we are away, sir."
  191. Makh_Chomun "As you wish, m'lord. Been some time since I've not had some of my armsmen on assignment with me."
  192. RosenkrantzGM "I will be guarded 'round the clock by Household Guard," he assured Lucrezia.
  193. Lucrezia nods.
  194. Lucrezia "Still, stay armed."
  195. RosenkrantzGM "Of course," he nods.
  196. Varenus_Grandier "If we encounter this criminal, should we attempt a capture? Or end them?"
  197. RosenkrantzGM "Do not endanger yourselves just to capture him. It would be infinitely more useful to be able to interrogate him, but remain safe above all."
  198. Lucrezia "Right, when should we head off?"
  199. RosenkrantzGM "Immediately. Every hour that passes is one in which House Grandier's charts may be used by unwelcome guests," he points behind him with his thumb, to the Gun-Cutter and presumably the comm-beads within.
  200. Makh_Chomun "Well then, time to gather the crew." Makh then heads into the Gun-Cutter and gathers the comm-beads, and heads back out to hand the comm-beads back to his compatriots.
  201. Makh_Chomun +Comms, get me the Enginseer and the Master-of-Ordinance. Have them both report to the landing bay, under the Captain's authority.+
  202. Lucrezia takes her comm-bead and puts it on before doning her helmet once more. She then gets to work on checking her weapons.
  203. RosenkrantzGM +Immediately+
  204. Varenus_Grandier returns the comm-bead to his ear and and dons his helmet. He stands waiting while stroking the binge
  205. Makh_Chomun Makh then calls for his personal void-suit, to be delivered by Lt. ven Dreiger personally.
  206. Lucrezia looks at Makh. "Brother, you might want to look into getting a suit like this one." She snidely suggests while lightly hitting her chest plate. "Good stuff."
  207. RosenkrantzGM A double-knock on the Hangar's entry precedes the arrival of Lieutenant ven Dreiger, who alone enters pushing a gear-cart with the Lord-Protector's effects.
  208. Makh_Chomun As Makh gears up, he indicates for the Leftenent to disable his comm-bead, as Makh disables his own. He then speaks in a hushed tone. "I want you, Downfield, and Iyetsev to subtly increase security around the ship, focus on the medicae deck, the upper levels, the bridge, and the Captain's quarters. Work with the House Guard as you see fit." Makh then gives the man a various serious stare....
  209. Makh_Chomun ..."Things are afoot, old friend."
  210. RosenkrantzGM +Lord Chomun, the Enginseer-Prime and Master of Ordnance wish to enter the Hangar.+
  211. RosenkrantzGM Apparently not receiving a response, he walks into the hangar himself.
  212. RosenkrantzGM The Sergeant-At-Arms clears his throat.
  213. Makh_Chomun looks back to the Sergeant-At-Arms. "Ah, yes, Sergeant?" Makh then re-activates his comm-bead.
  214. RosenkrantzGM "My Lord, forgive me," he excuses himself.
  215. RosenkrantzGM "Both the Master of Ordnance and Enginseer Prime wish to gain entry into the hangar."
  216. Makh_Chomun "Thank you Sergeant, allow them in."
  217. RosenkrantzGM He snaps a salute, and turns around, exiting.
  218. Neue-Ziel enters the Hangar.
  219. Baine_Mort enters the hanger and makes his way to the Gun-Cutter.
  220. Neue-Ziel approaches the rest of the group.
  221. Neue-Ziel "Security has... increased."
  222. Makh_Chomun finishes slipping on his assorted void gear and gives ven Dreiger on last look. "Get all that, El-Tee?"
  223. RosenkrantzGM "As you command, my /lord/", he gives you a salute.
  224. Lucrezia walks away from the hangar. "I'll see about looking into things a bit more closely. See you all when you get back."
  225. Varenus_Grandier finishes strapping on his void gear "Ready to go."
  226.
  227.
  228. Rosenkrantz 2:
  229. Neue-Ziel uses his console and allows Mort visitation rights in the Enginarium.
  230. Baine_Mort Baine enters the Enginarium.
  231. Baine_Mort makes his way over to Ziel.
  232. RosenkrantzGM Servitors and red-robed priests are busily at work in apparently every corner of the Enginarium.
  233. RosenkrantzGM No one even seems to notice the Master of Ordnance.
  234. Neue-Ziel continues writing notes in his data-slate.
  235. Baine_Mort +Ziel, I've entered the Enginarium, how do I make my way to you?+
  236. Neue-Ziel uses his console to find Mort and issues a command to a nearby servo-skull to be his escort.
  237. Neue-Ziel +I sent a servo-skull to act as your guide.+
  238. RosenkrantzGM One of the servoskulls carrying what appears to be calibration sensors, suddenly stops and turns, flying low at Baine's height.
  239. RosenkrantzGM Once it is satisfied with the identity of the stranger, it makes a sharp left turn and leads the way.
  240. Baine_Mort +I believe it has arrived, I will follow it.+ Baine follows the servoskull.
  241. RosenkrantzGM It leads you down a corridor with insufferable thick smoke all around you, and into a dark room.
  242. RosenkrantzGM At the end of it, you spot the crouched figure of the ship's Enginseer-Prime.
  243. Neue-Ziel binary commands the Servo-Skull to return to its duties.
  244. Baine_Mort coughs as he follows the servoskull.
  245. Baine_Mort approaches Ziel.
  246. Neue-Ziel uses binary commands to activate the ventilation system, lights, and recording devices.
  247. Neue-Ziel "How may I be of assistance, Master of Ordnance?"
  248. Baine_Mort "Yes, word has it that you have a weapon of which would be more useful in my hands, and for it I have this that may serve you well." Baine says to Ziel as he shows him the Hellgun.
  249. Neue-Ziel "Impressive weaponry. What would I have that you would want." Ziel binary commands the Gun servitors toward his newest 'project'.
  250. Baine_Mort "If word has it, you have a plasma pistol in your possession."
  251. RosenkrantzGM The servitors clumsily, but steadily approach.
  252. Neue-Ziel "interesting. Did Lady Lucrezia tell you or perhaps one of her many interesting associates?" He motions the servitors to stop.
  253. Neue-Ziel heads towards his gun storage unit and gets the Plasma Pistol.
  254. Baine_Mort "Does it matter who told me of this?"
  255. Neue-Ziel places the pistol on his work bench and says "Just curious that's all... One moment please."
  256. Baine_Mort nods as he waits
  257. Neue-Ziel uses his Utility Mechadendrite to carve on the handle a symbol of the Omnissiah and on the barrel in Techna-lingua "Suffer not the heretic to live."
  258. Neue-Ziel pours sacred oil on the engraves of the pistol and sanctifies it with a short prayer.
  259. Neue-Ziel hands the blessed weapon over to Mort.
  260. Neue-Ziel "It is ready."
  261. Baine_Mort "Thank you Ziel and as promises, here is the Hellgun, may it server you well in the field of battle." Baine hands Ziel the Hellgun as he takes the pistol and looks it over.
  262. Neue-Ziel starts to modify the Hellgun with carving of an Omnissiah symbol on the handle and on the barrel in Techna-lingua "The Emperor Protects, The Omnissiah Saves."
  263. Neue-Ziel looks over at Mort "Is that all you need or was there something else?"
  264. Neue-Ziel pours the oil and says a short prayer.
  265. Baine_Mort "No that is really all, we should be heading back as we are to leave soon for the station."
  266. RosenkrantzGM +Enginseer-Prime Ziel, Master of Ordnance Mort. Please report to the landing bay, by order of the Lord-Captain+
  267. Baine_Mort +Understood, we will be there shortly.+
  268. Neue-Ziel grabs his chainsaw, new hellgun, his notes, and his standard equipment.
  269. Neue-Ziel "Follow Me."
  270. Neue-Ziel heads toward the landing bay.
  271. Baine_Mort nods and follows Ziel.
  272. Neue-Ziel disables Mort's permissions after both of them have cleared the Enginarium.
  273. RosenkrantzGM In the sectors near leading to the hangar, you realize how oddly crowded the corridors appear to be.
  274. Neue-Ziel "Strange."
  275. RosenkrantzGM Lighter-bay staff, by the look of their uniforms, wander around outside the Lord-Captain's Hangar and Bay.
  276. RosenkrantzGM Standing directly in front of the entrance, a platoon of Armsmen block anyone from walking through the door.
  277. RosenkrantzGM This appears to include you, as a Sergeant-At-Arms holds his hand up as you approach.
  278. Neue-Ziel "Hello."
  279. Baine_Mort approaches the Sergeant
  280. RosenkrantzGM He places his other hand on his commbead and speaks into it, "Lord Chomun, the Enginseer-Prime and Master of Ordnance wish to enter the Hangar."
  281. RosenkrantzGM Apparently not receiving a response, he walks into the hangar himself.
  282. Neue-Ziel "Of Course."
  283. Baine_Mort looks at Ziel, "wonder whats up with all the guards."
  284. RosenkrantzGM The Sergeant-at-arms returns outside.
  285. RosenkrantzGM "Thank you for your patience, my Lords. You may proceed."
  286. Baine_Mort nods to the Sargent and enters.
  287. Neue-Ziel enters the lander bay.
