Dry Bowser and Toadette's Subcon Matter

Dry Bowser and Toadette were racing each other in pipe framed karts as they were finishing their intense race around the Cloudtop Cruise, when suddenly the clear blue skies turned gray as the white puffy clouds started to disappear.

"The hell? What happened to the clouds?" Dry Bowser

"Yeah... for once it wasn't something that I accidentally caused!" Toadette

Dry Bowser "This is bizarre, let's finish this lap dance and then get to the bottom of this."

Toadette "Don't you mean the top?"

After their race, the adventurous duo searched the entire track on the beanstalk to see if there was anything out of place. The skeletal reptile noticed a red door that was present as the mushroom girl gasped in shock.

Toadette: Wait hold on, I've seen something like this before!

Dry Bowser: Let me guess, it was from all those courses you've ran through in Course World.

Toadette: Well that and endless mode, but I've seen a door that acted in the same manner! We should turn back!

Dry Bowser: I don't think so, we're going through.

As Toadette whimpered upon not knowing what was waiting for them, Dry Bowser opened the door to see that they were in the dream realm of Subcon, with the two being towards the giant yellow palace looming over the dreamscape as they noticed that a machine was puffing out gray smoke that was sent into different dimensions, which explained the sudden appearance of a dull sky back on the Cloudtop!
