Homeschooled

So I guess its about time we started talking a bit more on what homeschooled is and the how and what of the event. From August 7th through August 13th me and a bunch of really cool guys will be throwing a marathon-ish event. This kinda came to be for 2 reasons. First off me and ZnTSaito where thinking of doing something together a bit more organized then last we did. We had been talking about it for a while but never ended up giving it much more shape then that. Along with that on August 19th through 26th there'll be BSG Annual, a major speedrunning marathon Im involved in. So this event kinda came to be the Pre-BSG-Annual-Party-that-is-in-no-way-associated-with-BSG. Now lets be fair, that name doesnt exactly stick (nor does PBAPTIINWAWB as a shortened name) so we ended up calling it homeschooled (shoutouts to ZnTSaito for the name).

With that part done I guess its time to talk a bit more on the where and how of the event. So homeschooled as an event will be at my house, and will fully be broadcast on my channel as well (twitch.tv/crrool). For one of the runs we will be using a secondary channel as well, as there is no way we can fit everything on a single screen without it looking horribly, but more on that later.

Now as for a schedule, there isnt too much I can give you, but I'll try to give somewhat of an overview. We have scheduled out a good few things as is, but we wanted to go outside of the general marathon-spectrum and mostly just make a chill event for both ourselves as well as for you guys. As such we decided we wouldnt set a schedule, but just throw up a few ideas that we are going to fit together into a full week of streams and fun. Here are a few:
- Monday: Kick-off with some cool runs
- Tuesday: Pokemon gen 1 & 2 Catch 'em all glitchless (249) 4-man co-op
- Wednesday: Casual day
- Thursday: Race day
- Friday: Iris% tag-team race
- Saturday: Few runs, BBQ Cook-off and Dungeons & Dragons
- Sunday: Closing with some cool runs

As a final note regarding the marathon, during the event we'll be raising some money to help get mich back on his feet. We didnt initially want to do so, but after what happened we felt it was the right thing to do. More info as to what happened can be found here: https://pastebin.com/SWhL524Z
