- Technically, after Ragnarok the Aesir god of vengeance Vidar is supposed to survive. Some accounts also suggest that Baldr is supposed to resurrect after it concludes as well. Paring that with another account that suggests that both the Aesir and Vanir knew that they'd be replaced by a much stronger power, you could easily write a 'Stranger in a Strange Land'-esque plot of the both of them ending up in Hell by sheer accident. Of course this is all off the top of my head and some of this might in fact be bullshit but I am too motherfuckin sleepy to be fact checking a shitpost on the shitpost board.
