Child Abuse
Any individual who deliberately inflicts cruel, excessive, or inhumane corporal punishment upon a child under the age of 18 OR

Any individual who deliberately causes injury to a child under the age of 18, resulting in severe harm OR

Any individual whose negligence causes traumatic injury to a child under the age of 18 is guilty of a felony, and the punishment is a sentence of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Minor Alcohol Violation
If a person under the age of 21 is found in possession of alcohol for consumption, alcohol-containing products, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol, they will receive an infraction with a fine of $250.

Sale of Alcohol to a Minor
Any person who knowingly and willfully sells alcohol or any alcohol-containing product to a minor under the age of 21 is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a sentence of 30 minutes.

Animal Abuse / Cruelty
(a) An individual who intentionally maims, mutilates, tortures, wounds, or kills a living animal is guilty of a felony, punishable by a sentence of 1 hour and 50 minutes.

(b) An individual whose neglect leads to maiming, mutilating, torturing, wounding, or killing a living animal is guilty of a felony, punishable by a sentence of 1 hour and 30 minutes.[/font]
