  2. Reset activation in safe mode OS (more relevant for the 2016MR1 line and above when locking settings, but applicable to all antivirus products).
  3. In the safe mode of the OS, the functions of the anti-virus program do not work, disable (try to disconnect) Self-protection and perform any actions with the antivirus isnot necessary:

  5. The procedure for loading OS into safe mode:
  6. OS Windows 7: Boot
  7. into safe mode by pressing F8 (repeated pressing) restart the computer.

  9. While holding down the Shift key, we restart the computer. A screen will appear with a choice of options, select: Troubleshooting -> Advanced settings -> Download options and click Restart. After the reboot, the boot parameters will appear where will be 4) Enable safe mode, press 4 (or F4), the computer will boot in safe mode.

  11. The procedure for resetting the activation in safe OS mode:
  12. 1. Restart the computer to the safe operating mode of the OS.
  13. 2. Start the KRT CLUB and click the "Reset Activation" button.
  14. 3. Restart the computer to the normal operating mode of the OS.
  15. 4. Unload the antivirus program.
  16. 5. Start the KRT CLUB and click the "Reset Activation" button.
  17. 6. Depending on the version of the anti-virus product, KRT CLUB will reboot the computer or start the anti-virus program.
  18. 7. After starting the anti-virus program, activate it by pressing the function "Activate trial version" or by entering the activation code.
  19. 8. Enable Self-defense of the anti-virus program (depending on the version of the anti-virus program, where automatic activation is disabled).
  20. Note: If the KRT CLUB activates in the safe OS mode (step 2), only the Self-Defense of the anti-virus program is disabled.

  23. Reset activation of KAV, KIS, KTS anti-virus programs using the built-in activation codes (popklop method):

If the trial period is over and the settings are disabled (disabling Self-Defense is impossible) - activate the anti-virus program with a different code than the installed version of the antivirus. The anti-virus program is transformed into another version, in accordance with the entered code and all settings will be available. Disable Self-Defense and reset activation by the KRT CLUB program, then activate the anti-virus program with the code for the version installed initially - the antivirus program is transformed into the previously installed one.

  37. Reset activation using the PC Hunter:

  39. 1. Unload the antivirus program.
  40. 2. Start thePC Hunter(according to the bit depth of the OS), select theRegistrytab- the registry will open).
  41. 3. Change the value from1to0 oftheEnableSelfProtectionparameter(the right mouse button isModify). The parameter is searched in the branch:
  42. - OS x64 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ WOW6432Node \ KasperskyLab \ AVP16.0.1 \settings
  43. - OS x32 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ KasperskyLab \ AVP16.0.1 \settings
  44. 4. Start the antivirus program.
  45. 5. Unload the antivirus program.
  46. 6. Start KRT CLUB, in the Reset Activation window set the check box on the "Reset activation with computer restart" option.
  47. 7. Reset the activation. After the computer restarts, all the settings of the anti-virus program, as well as the "Activate trial version" function, will be available.

  50. 1. Reset the activation when locking the settings in a strict sequence with the instruction.
  51. 2. Tested on Windows 10 (10.0.14393.0 version 1607) x64, Windows 10 (10.0.15063.0 version 1703) x64, Windows 10 (10.0.16299.15 version 1709) x64, Windows 7 x64 with the installed KIS 2016 (16.0.1.445) , KIS 2017 (17.0.0.611), KIS 2018 (18.0.0.405).
  52. 3. PC Hunter v1.53 on Windows 10 (10.0.17134.1 version 1803) does not work when the program is started - Driver Driver Error.
  53. 4. The option of resetting the activation with PC Hunter is more relevant for users with remote computer maintenance, since you can not remotely enter the safe mode of the OS.
