A summer's confession laying in grass
Nearby are the grazers that feed on you
Hoping to pass by the believer's truth
On the roads to a tomorrow anewed
Wanting the escape from the common booth
Of what makes you so gone to the fortunate

A mystery unfolds and travels through ours
At hour of bell ring does the giver take
For what comes to next is a blessed rain
That follows down the roads again

How to count these days gone from
Youth is settled in and remains in hearts
From a child's perspective on a frame
That frame of mind that washes away with age
To a world of fallen attributed fame
That leaves to wonder: what is to gain?
