- History
- Plush toys were popular since their inception, and there are countless variants, such as the Fumo toy the Fumelee took inspiration from. However, most are stuffed with cotton or a similar filling, unlike the Fumelee, which notably hides a brick inside of it.
- In-Game
- General Information
- While Fumelee may be an ordinary plush meant to give users moral & emotional support and show love, as the description states, it contains a brick inside, thus making it a simple blunt object meant to either injure or even kill unsuspecting enemies. Like most melees, it has average damage multipliers and it can 1SK by backstab.
- Usage and Tactics
- With the Fumelee's very fast attack time in all aspects, coupled with average damage stats and being one of the fastest melees in-game, beating Karambit by 0.48 studs/s, it could be one of the best melees and is fun to use, with the likes of the Maglite Club.
- However, to make the most out of this brick plush, one must require to walk up to the enemy and hope for the best the enemy does not detect the user's presence in time. It has, possibly, a very short melee range, making it quite similar to JKey and Stun Gun by terms of performance. Missing the strike, especially on their backs and hitting at either the head or limbs instead, may look like it would be a death sentence, but luckily, with quick attack stats, they can spam click and the user can kill the enemy by 2 full hits other than the enemy's rear in a combined span of 1.2 seconds in total; thus allowing to beat down the enemy even if it meant taking some hits when they retaliate.
- Such aggressive tactic to whip out hits in quick succession, however, when facing against Shotguns, would be useless, given that Shotguns have a maximum 1SK at best, and at a distance, this gives the user zero time to either flee or hide behind cover.
- Conclusion
- Being a plush containing a brick, it is simply just as deadly as any other blunt melees, other than the fact that it does adores most players because of its cute design. In functional terms, it is quite difficult to use as the Stun Gun, where it also has a short range, but with these very quick attack stats, it can allow to give them a whiplash of brick-whipping smash attacks in rapid succession.
- Pros & Cons
- Very high walkspeed of its class—narrowly beating Karambit, and Brass Knuckle, by 0.48 studs/s, but losing it to Bare Fists.
- Balanced damage multipliers.
- Fairly high backstab damage.
- Quick attack speed.
- Trivia
- The plush bears the name Anti. This is based off the mascot from the Animu and Anti Sights, including the canted ones.
- The in-game description references the fact why this is classed as a One-Hand Blunt while it seems to be a normal plush.
- The Fumelee is one of the only 2 melees to play a song from the Phantom Forces soundtrack. It plays a 34 second custom loop, self-titled "FUMELEE" [1]
- As of this moment, Fumelee doesn't show the current Blade Range, even after it is released in the main game. It could be obvious that a brick is not a bladed weapon and that it is possible that this weapon might be as short as a Stun Gun or JKey.
- This plush model is made by Willow.
- The Fumelee has its unique inspect animation when pressing H. The user will pull the plush closer, shake lightly before head-patting it.
- The name Fumelee is a portmanteau of "Fumo" and "Melee". A Fumo is a Japanese plush toy which came from a game franchise called Touhou Project.
- There is a black HK416 model attached at the back of the plush. The Fumelee's skin zones apply and correspond to the actual HK416 skin zones, except for the barrel.
