  12. * Complete project proposal
  13. - Approved by instructor
  14. * Full-stack application
  15. - Front-end-framework JavaScript (React, Vue, Angular, Ember)
  16. - Full CRUD functionality
  17. - At least 1 _major_ unfamiliar technology
  18. * Participate in practice presentations leading up to final presentation
  19. * 3-5 practices
  20. * Tues 1/22, Wed 1/23, Fri 1/25, Mon 1/28, Wed 1/30 and Thurs 1/31
  21. * Project is presented at capstone showcase or to instructors

  23. Oftentimes, some students choose to build projects that aren't traditional web applications. There is potential for some wiggle room regarding the full CRUD requirement (and potentially others). All Capstone projects will be approved on a case by case basis, taking into account the types of technology that the student has chosen to use. As such, the requirements above apply for almost all projects, but are not 100% set in stone.

  28. * Get help from instructors
  29. * Get help from peers
  30. * Participate in the practice presentations
  31. * Help you get reps before the showcase
  32. * Get feedback from instructors on how to improve
  33. * Demonstrate progress as the capstone period progresses
  34. * Work hard
  35. * This is your final project to showcase all that you have learned at Galvanize
  36. * One of the most important pieces of your resume
  37. * 5 Commits a day
