<Arthur> "Ready for anything."
<DamienLunas> "Allright. Put lev back in his ball and hop on mephistopheles."
 Arthur returns Lev and gets right on. "When did you get your miracle berry anyway?"
<DamienLunas> "Well, around the time I pleged my service to darkrai."
<DamienLunas> "He gave me the sword too."
<DamienLunas> He leads the rapidash around a bit until he finds a good open spot.
<DamienLunas> He pops the red pill into the rapidash's mouth, and starts charging forward.

<DamienLunas> It bursts with energy as the yellow lines appear on it, and a portal appears right before you
<DamienLunas> you briefly see a strange realm of void and darkness before appearing in a city.
<DamienLunas> There's a large canal, and a beautiful ocean view.
<DamienLunas> The buildings look... quite nice.
<Arthur> "So the whole rest of the world is..."
<DamienLunas> none of them are destroyed. They're all big buildings made of wood.
<Arthur> "...Wonder why Ryusei didn't say anything."
<DamienLunas> "You're a long way from home, Arthur."

<DamienLunas> You also appear to be on a sort of short runway with scorch marks on it.
<DamienLunas> There's nearby signs warning them to keep off.
<DamienLunas> He hops off mephistopheles, who has already turned back.
<DamienLunas> "Come on. I'm going to get mephistopheles something to eat and then we'll go."
 Arthur steps off and stretches. "Safe to let Lev out again? Also, he needs to eat?"

 Arthur does so. "None of the pokemon in Ribbonwood did, except for the untainted ones in the caves."
<DamienLunas> "The rest of the world is the same in that respect, Arthur."
<DamienLunas> "But being me has its advantages."
<Arthur> "Hm."
<DamienLunas> "You can go ahead and let out lev."
 Arthur just did. "I guess Brisa must be hungry too."
<Arthur> "Do they mass produce pokemon food like they used to?"
<DamienLunas> <Master... it's beautiful. Is this what the world looks like to you through that eye?>
<Arthur> "...Sometimes, yeah."
<Arthur> "Less wood, though."

 Arthur shrugs. "Nor particularly, though I did ask about Brisa..."
<DamienLunas> "You know what, go ahead and make us four."
<DamienLunas> "Very well, Mr. President."
<DamienLunas> Another person walks in from the back
<DamienLunas> they're wearing a thick white jacket
<DamienLunas> and covered in almost from head to toe in bandages.
<DamienLunas> The person looks down at you, Arthur, judging you for a moment before slamming down a tray full of apple slices.
<DamienLunas> Once it's down on the table, the person retreats to the back room without a word.
<DamienLunas> "Yeah yeah... I get the message."
<Arthur> "Which was?"
<DamienLunas> "It's nothing. Have some apples I guess. There are 42 of them after all."

 Arthur does in fact eat some and hand some over to skwak.
<DamienLunas> "Here you go." he tosses it over his shoulder, and the joltik leaps up and shoots a web at it, reeling it in and chomping down on it.
<DamienLunas> He looks over Brisa, "Now there's a fine young lady aerodactyl you have here."
<DamienLunas> "You found that in a cave underground?"
<Arthur> "Mmm."
<DamienLunas> "Tell me a bit about how you caught her."
<Arthur> "I... sort of..."
<Arthur> "Well, I shot her with lightning out of nowhere and fought her, similar to any other pokemon."
<Arthur> "Back then, I had no idea the underground ones were so DIFFERENT."
<DamienLunas> "They shouldn't be so different. What else?"
<Arthur> "Well, when Lev translated for her, she said the two Aerodactyl she was with were competing for right to mate with her... but she didn't like either of them."
<DamienLunas> "Ahh, I see."
<DamienLunas> "Well, mating habits of pokemon can be a very difficult situation."
<DamienLunas> "See, proud pokemon often expect their mates to compete for them. Especially a creature like aerodactyl. Not only are they very prideful, but their gender ratios are heavily biased towards males."
<DamienLunas> "Which means, females are far and few inbetween."
<DamienLunas> "So it's quite possible that she interpreted this as a challenge for the right to be her mate. However the role you've been fulfilling as a trainer is quite different from the one that she expected. Pokemon down there probably aren't used to trainers at all."
<DamienLunas> "Does this sound right?"
<Arthur> "Somewhat, though she isn't anywhere near humanshape..."
<DamienLunas> "Haha, it's not quite like that, Arthur."
<DamienLunas> "See, she's never seen a creature like you before. And the fact that you'd butt into a mating challenge like that makes her think that you consider yourself a viable mate. She's got no way of knowing if you're some kidn of bird or not."
<DamienLunas> "So she might have expected that's what she was getting at first."
<DamienLunas> "But of course the reality is very different. So I expect now she probably feels just a little bit confused as to how she fits into this whole deal. And maybe even a little dissapointed that she didn't get what she was hoping for."
<Arthur> "So an easier solution would be... to have her make an egg? Do you know anyone that would want an Aerodactyl?"
<DamienLunas> "Actually, that isn't the easier solution at all."
<DamienLunas> "See, she was hoping for a long term mate. One to settle down with that could take care of her."
<DamienLunas> "If you'd like my advice, what I think you should do is try to form a compromise that she can understand."
<DamienLunas> "Because it's not just the mating that's important. It's the way she wants to be treated."
<Arthur> "...Could ask Zephyr too, he's always been very gentle and they're in the same group... Or do Altaria not do that in the same way."
<DamienLunas> "Ah, but zephyr hasn't proved his worth to her, now has he?"
<DamienLunas> "See, here's my advice on your situation."
<DamienLunas> "My suggestion is to take care of her very well. Provide for her, give her things she likes, show her you care and that you think she's special."
<DamienLunas> "You'll be meeting her halfway like that. In the end, she'll start to accept it, and realize that it's a very healthy dynamic for her. She lets you train her and use her to fight, and you take care of her and make her feel good about herself."
<DamienLunas> "If you want to try, I think you'll have a very good opportunity just about now..."
<DamienLunas> Miss Sato comes up with a large silver platter. "Here you are, Mister President. Four Filet Mingon."

<Arthur> "Freddie was never... Then again, I wonder if Freddie knows how."

<Arthur> "That's a good question on the whole, actually. A lot of people might want to move, or need to move. Are spots of fertile soil, artificial or not, common here?"
<DamienLunas> "We have had success with artificial soil. Hydroponics... all that."
<Arthur> "I see."
<Arthur> "Then in that case, I know someone who may want to move and start a tea shop... Or does he want to move in the first place... Hrm."
<DamienLunas> "Anyway."
<DamienLunas> "Why don't you feed Brisa some?"
<DamienLunas> "It'd mean a lot to her if you let her have the first piece."
 Arthur does in fact give her one if she wasn't full from the apples. "She does prefer the sweets, though..."
<DamienLunas> She REALLY seems to enjoy the filet mignon. Sweet or not, something that juicy and delicious is going to impress.
<DamienLunas> He also tosses the filets up to Mephistopheles.
<DamienLunas> "There you go, eat up. You've earned it."
<DamienLunas> He pats it on the mane gently, "Good job, good job."
<DamienLunas> "Try some of yours, Arthur."
 Arthur cuts apiece off very politely and starts eating.
<Arthur> "...This is amazing."
<DamienLunas> "Isn't it? Thank you, Miss Sato, you've been a peach."
<DamienLunas> "Yes sir, Mr. President."
<Arthur> "So, Darkrai is near here."
<DamienLunas> "Right."
<DamienLunas> "I would have taken you directly there..."
<DamienLunas> "But Mephistopheles deserves to have a snack for doing such a good job."
<Arthur> "It's fine, it's fine."
<DamienLunas> "Anything else you wanted to talk about? Or are you just about ready to go."
<Arthur> "Mmm... Not particularly, I'll just ask things as they come."
<DamienLunas> "Allright."
<DamienLunas> "Well then. Miss Sato, I'll take some more pills, and then I think I'd like to head out."
<DamienLunas> She hands him a bag. "Here you are, Mr. President. It's been a pleasure having you and your guest, Arthur."
 Arthur nods politely.

 Arthur follows along, a little overhwlemed

<DamienLunas> The sailor nods and sets off quickly, the boat sailing over to a nearby island.
<DamienLunas> He leads you onto the island, keeping you close as he finds a hidden tunnel which takes you down. It's quite dark, but his rapidash lights the way.
<DamienLunas> "Before we get there."
<DamienLunas> "Ground rules."
<DamienLunas> "Rule number one."
<DamienLunas> "Don't touch anything."
<DamienLunas> "ANYTHING."
<Arthur> "Anything."
<DamienLunas> "Anything. Not a thing. Don't touch stuff."
<DamienLunas> "Rule number two, don't do that windy thing. Or move stuff with your mind or anything."

 Arthur returns everyone because oh god this sounds terrifying.

<DamienLunas> "Is a way to interfere with the functions of his cannon, or enough destructive force to break through that armor and expose his divinity aura for a level x creature to destroy it."

<Arthur> "I'd better, considering I saw someone in the past that looks exactly like me want to go there."

<Arthur> "Guess she won't be too happy to hear this... Then again, she's never particularly that happy, huh."
