  17. Are you going to run some bots? Most of the time, it can eat CPU depending on what are you going to run specifically but it is recommended to run it on dedicated server.

  26. I do not understand why do they don't want to host your project. I think there is providers that could help you out. In VPS Promotion thread you can find a lot of suggestions.

  28. You might look at VDS (Semi-Dedicated) options if you are worried about resource usage. As the CPU cores will be dedicated to you, you should not be suspended for abuse of resources. It will cost you more then a standard shared VPS, but gives you a better solution.

  46. I'd imagine your response to a ticket in Hindi (as a second language for you) would be equally distressing to native speakers. Language barriers happen in more than just "Indian" ticket responses, and is not a valid reason to pre judge the quality of them.

  51. The "Do the Needful" part is actually a common thing with Indian English speakers.

  55. As for the OP, I'd recommend getting a inexpensive dedicated server over a VPS. That way you won't annoy the neighbors.

  61. I'm sorry to jump on this, but it seems to me you are the one pre-judging that the OP pre-judged the quality of the support team.
  62.
  63. Nowhere in the OP's post does he mention that he judges anyone's skills so I don't see how you came to that conclusion. What makes YOU think he meant that?
  64.
  65. What he DOES say, is that NO ONE can answer a legit question mainly because let's face it, outsourcing of support team in countries with lower salaries with English not being the primary language (did I say it right?) creates difficulties in dealing with anything apart from the absolute basics.
  66. Obviously it's not the non-native speaker's fault he may not understand 100% what the customer is asking, but at the same time it's not the customer's fault either if he can't get a valid response to a legitimate question.

  69. Therefore it's the fault of the company or the support system, not "those Indians" (which is an add way to refer to a group of people, if you didn't mean any offense). If you don't like the support or sales of the company, move on.
  70.
  71. As for the actual question, if you are doing anything intensive on the VPS, you are likely to be kicked off (even if they don't have a crypto section in their TOS or AUP). Check the terms and look for a VPS with dedicated resources, or a small dedicated server (which is probably the better option as you don't need to worry about hogging resources that others are sharing).

  88. Ok no problem. All this is offtopic so I'll leave it here.
  89. All I meant to say is that I honestly don't think the OP was meaning to insult or accuse any particular group.

  95. If iy is just crypto exchange and no botting or something like that - should not be an issue to host. I read that some companies do not allow anything crypto related, but it could be a legal business. So a bit strange what is an issue...
