  6. Have you ever had a different opinion than the majority? Well may be similar to the case of Christopher Boone and many others with the asperger syndrome. The book Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon demonstrates Christopher’s different perspectives on the world.
  7. Most people might enjoy a nice chat with a friendly neighbor, but Christopher does not particularly want human interaction. In page 59, Christopher is talking to one of his neighbors Mrs. Alexander. He hesitates to continue, but only does since five red cars passed him indicating to him that it was a “Super Good Day.” Christopher has trouble talking to strangers. He only does it in special occasions, whether he is doing detective work, or it is a good day.
  8. Christopher likes being organized. He decides on what type of day it is depending on what color of cars pass him, he refuses to eat food that has touched other food, he detests anything that is yellow or brown. One of these examples are shown in page 46 where he lists all the things he does that are simply viewed as behavioral problems. They may seem unreasonable, but to Christopher, this is just how he is, and it is how other people like Christopher experience life.
