The Supersized Adventures of Rebound (super hero concept by /co/)

- The Heroes

Rebound - A middle aged super heroine with super elasticity and body morphing powers that has since come out of retirement, but a few hundred pounds heavier. The stretchy, 350 pound vixen aims to reclaim her former glory but will she able to fight a new generation of villains while battling her addiction to pizza and other fatty foods?

Impact - A teenaged fitness instructor and acrobatics star who is also a massive fan girl for Rebound. After hearing of Rebound’s return and seeing her twice as large as she was in her glory days, the young girl decides to become her sidekick and personal trainer, to help Rebound get back in shape as well as fight along her side, using her acrobatic skills to fight crime beside her.

Thunder Thighs - A very bottom heavy, African-American woman who became inspired by a Rebound to become a hero herself, seeing the hefty heroine taking down villains and saving the day giving her a boost in confidence in her body image. Thunder Thighs trained hard, gaining good muscle structure in her thick, tree trunk thighs and learning martial arts, specifically Taekwondo and Capoeira. Thunder Thighs now fights crime using her incredibly powerful kicks and some improvised techniques such as using her hips and massive bottom in combat.

Bubble Butt - A young Latina woman with a butt that makes Thunder Thighs’ look small in comparison and a small yet noticeable pot belly to go with it. Having confidence and an ego to match the size of her rear end, this bottom heavy Latina had her own yoga studio that unbeknownst to her, was being used to smuggle dangerous stolen government weaponry, specifically a potent chemical formula that Bubble Butt was accidentally exposed to, giving her the ability to create bubbles of hydrogen from her mouth, these “Hydrogen Bubbles” are very bouncy and can become explosive, cryogenic, acidic or electrified depending on what Bubble Butt just ate in that moment, which has caused her to gain a substantial amount of weight, mostly in her increasingly impressive rear end. Bubble Butt would use her new found powers to become a super hero. Bubble Butt often uses her massive rear end in battle as well, such as with crushing enemies or sending her Hydrogen Bubbles rocketing towards enemies by hip checking them.

Chuggernaut - A fat shortstack of Asian descent with a love for soda. One day, she drank a massive cocktail of many different sodas that, due to the certain combination of chemicals and massive quantities of carbonation, gave her the power of sonic belches powerful enough to shatter glass and blow away cars and other structures. When her big, sloshing soda barrel of a belly starts to bulge, watch out!. She too was inspired by Rebound to become a hero and use her newfound powers for good.

- The Villains

Doctor Bod - Once an ally and close friend of Rebound during her glory days, Doctor Lucious Von Bod has become a vengeful mad scientist when the work for his body modifying pills was stolen by a rival scientist who then profited from his work. Doctor Bod uses his Modifyer Pills to alter the appearance and function of the human body upon consumption, his Kickback Pills increasing muscle mass, Gender Bender Pills capable of switching one’s gender etc., his Limber Pills being what gave Rebound her powers when she worked as his assistant, and more. Doctor Bod and his legion of female assistants, the Ladies of Science now use his Modifyer pills to commit crimes and get revenge on the scientific community, much to the distraught of Rebound who seeks to turn him back to the side of good.

Carronade - The former first mate of one of Rebound’s most bitter enemies, the Amazonian, pirate-themed villain Captain Broadside who has since retired and settled with a husband and had a dozen or so kids, the muscular pirate captain now softened up (literally and figuratively) as a stay at home mom. The busty Carronade now leads the all-female pirate crew, The Buxom Buccaneers and commands Broadside’s old Airship, continuing her pirate-themed heists and robberies in an attempt to get her former captain out of retirement.

Recoil - Rebound’s evil counterpart, possessing the same Elasticity powers as Rebound but is still skinny and svelte like she once was. Recoil was once a fan of Rebound who was rejected by her when she wanted to become her sidekick, she has since then grown a strong hatred of her that lead her down a dark path. She was recruited by Doctor Bod and given the same pills that have a Rebound her powers. Recoil constantly berates and taunts Rebound for her weight during battle and aims to end her career permanently, believing that she is a relic of the past that should go back to hiding, getting fat(ter) on free pizza from Porco Grasso.

The Red Bear - A top Secret Soviet Spy Project in the form of a bio-engineered, strongfat woman that has recently been defrosted. Mishka Medvedeva was an elite agent who carried out the Motherland’s will across the world. Now unfrozen years after the fall of the Soviet Union, the Red Bear has become a Supervillain to bring about the return of the USSR as well as bringing its will upon the rest of the world, as she was programmed to do many years ago. She possesses levels of physical strength far beyond a human being’s and her sturdy mama bear body makes her resistant to most physical attacks.

Shakedown - Rebound’s equivalent to Bane, a muscular amazon of a woman with a massive hatred and disdain for obese people, seeing them as lazy and unmotivated slobs. She despises Rebound as she believes the overweight heroine is glorifying obesity. Using an experimental compound that exponentially increases muscle mass that she takes with her protein drinks (with the drawback of inducing weight gain after it has passed through the user’s system). Shakedown aims to break the Fat Vixen and end her career once and for all. She wears a belt lined with containers of said protein shakes.

Venus Willendorf - Arch Priestess of a hedonistic cult that worships a Goddess of gluttony and hedonism. This 1,000 pound hedonist claims that the Willendorf clan are direct descendants of the goddess of hedonism, Adiposia and aims to spread obesity and hedonism throughout the world. Too fat and lazy to do anything herself, she relies on her fanatic army of cult members to do the fighting for her but where she lacks in physical ability, this hedonistic mastermind more than makes up for it in strategy and intelligence.

Queen Bee - Bea Bourgeois is the 700 pound CEO of Mademoiselle’s Baked Goods and is part of a trinity of business owners that are members of the Cult of Willendorf, using their resources and connections to spread obesity on Venus’ behalf. She uses a highly addictive chemical compound in her baked goods and confections to reduce those who eat her products into mindless gluttons with hopeless addictions to her sweets. Bea’s family have been members of the Cult of Willendorf for centuries and her ancestors are believed to have invented the addictive compound she uses in her baked goods. She wears an expensive looking, black and yellow outfit with a bee motif.

Fat Cat - Ami Oogui is the 500 pound CEO of a multi-purpose corporation that dabbles in everything from a lines of sauces and condiments to plus sized clothing, all her businesses and products cater to and encourage obese people to get bigger, using the body positivity movement to support her business and the cult’s goals. She’s sees obesity as a symbol of wealth and power, beliefs that the Cult of Willendorf hold as well.

Whole Hog - Annabelle Feedwell is the 400 pound owner and spokesperson of the buffet-styled soul food restaurant, Whole Hog. She uses her specialty in advertising and subliminal messaging to fatten up the masses on her addictive and fattening food. Her obsession with fatness stemming from her tragic past of being poor and starving, she is now a gluttonous, blue ribbon winning competitive eater and self taught chef that wants to feed the whole world into obesity, leading her to joining the Cult of Willendorf. Her restaurant has since expanded after a buyout from Fat Cat’s corporation. She’s the only one of the three females of the Cult of Willendorf willing to fight head on, utilizing an arsenal of cooking and food-themed weaponry.

Lilah McCallister - A corrupt businesswoman and beauty products mogul that is head of the organization C.U.R.V.Y. (Corrupt and Underhanded Rogue Voluptuous Yuppies), who aims to eliminate anything that she deems as ugly or undesirable, and replace them with her own standard of beauty. Lilah is extremely self-absorbed and entitled and will go to any lengths to achieve of goals of turning the world into a more beautiful and glamorous place. Her main objective is to get Rebound as her spokesperson, believing having a well-beloved super hero will propel her company’s goals. Although having the personality of a spoiled valley girl, Lilah is very intelligent, knows how to manipulate others and has expertise in many areas such as hypnotism and engineering.

Countess Ambrosia - Countess Ambrosia Corpulence is the empress of the Adipose Vampires, a subspecies of vampires that feed on body fat rather then blood. Countess Ambrosia is as powerful as she is massively fat and she commands the entire Adipose Vampire breed with an iron fist. Possessing all of the abilities of vampires (shapeshifting, telekinesis, hypnotism etc.) and immense physical strength, Countess Ambrosia is a force to be reckoned with and Rebound’s most powerful supernatural threat. She is described as very chest heavy, and is around 380 pounds at her smallest but can become elephantine in proportions when she feeds.

Feederess - Once a well-renowned chef, Patty Gourmand’s career came to an end when she was exposed as a sexual deviant who enjoys fattening people up and indulges in her kink with her extremely fattening and unhealthy gourmet meals, which she previously received criticism for. She swore revenge on all those who wronged her, she went into hiding and studied chemistry where she discovered a chemical compound that accelerates the growth of fat cells. She became The Feederess a sexy dominatrix with a chef motif who uses her compound, baked into her special cookies that forcefully stuffs into people’s faces to instantaneously turn them into obese blobs. She’s an expert acrobat and combatant and uses a long whip as her main weapon and uses a gun that fires her fattening cookies straight into the mouths of her targets.

Brain Freeze - Rhonda Whipple was a Willy Wonka-esque ice cream maker with her own creamery that was always trying to innovate and invent new and exciting flavors, with productivity going down however, she resorted to receiving loans from the mafia to try and keep her business afloat. When she couldn’t pay back his loans, the mafia threw her into a vat of one of her experimental ice cream flavors. The ice cream fused with her body and transformed her DNA, transforming Rhonda into a grotesque monster made entirely out of ice cream with the power to control the frozen dairy treat, now going by the name Brain Freeze, Whipple lashes out on a world that can never accept her as a monstrous and surprisingly powerful frozen desserts Clayface knockoff.

The Dietician - A nutritionist who, became sick and tired of obese people never taking his advice and making an effort to lose weight, decided he would teach them the value of their lives by forcing them to either lose weight or die trying! He began to kidnap obese individuals and place them into exercise and diet-themed death traps that would force them to participate in healthy lifestyle choices for their lives! Basically a fatty hating Jigsaw. He especially despises Rebound and the other overweight superheroines, seeing them as direct oppositions to his goals and agents of glorifying obesity.

Mama Gourmet - This 300 pound witch/chef hybrid villainess with a mother complex aims to make the whole world “pleasantly plump” using her enchanted food and legion of food monsters such as the Pizza Faces, Chili Dogs, Gingerdead Men and more, who force themselves down the gullets of those unfortunate enough to be around. Mama Gourmet believes enough is never enough, thinking even the corpulent Venus Willendorf is in need of a feeding. Definitely one of Rebound’s craziest villains and one of her surprisingly powerful ones as well.

Candyman - Wilbur Wunder was the most successful chocolatier and confectioner of the modern age. Having a lifetime fascination with candy that was stifled by his strict, dentist parents, Wilbur ran away from home at a young age to seek a career in candy making. Being an intellectually gifted young man with a passion for sweets, Wilbur became the youngest candy tycoon in the world, opening his own factory by the age of twenty-five, his candy and chocolate being the most successful treats to hit the market due to their unparalleled flavor and revolutionary creativity, sparking great envy from his competitors. It wasn’t long until his rivals started stealing his secret recipes and profiting off of his success, enraging Wilbur and driving him insane. Wilbur swore revenge on all those who wronged him and one year later, he would initiate his plot for revenge. Wilbur reinvented himself as The Candyman and initiated his dastardly plot for revenge, subjecting those who stole from him in candy-themed death traps such as trapping on in a rectangular cage and slowly dropping them into a vat of boiling chocolate, turning them into a life-sized chocolate bar. After his first defeat at the hands of Rebound, Candyman directed his vengeful anger towards her, committing candy-themed crimes to get her attention. Candyman is armed to the teeth with weaponized candy such as his candy cane sword, exploding, nitroglycerin gumballs, Red Hots-like candies that become fireballs when thrown and a knives disguised as chocolate bars. He also enlists the help of the Goobers, Imp-like Oompa Loompa-esque creatures created by Candyman with bio-engineered peanut butter.

Sweet Tooth - Once an obese eighteen year old girl with a ravenous appetite for chocolate and candy, who was known as the “Halloween Glutton” due to her always stealing all of the candy from her neighborhood’s trick or treater’s every Halloween and gorging herself on her stolen goods, once ate too much and caused her stomach to rip open. Now she rises from the grave every Halloween night, using the monster of her creation named “Sweet Tooth” as her new identity, this gluttonous zombie feeds on both candy and trick or treaters until the morning after, becoming even larger and fatter every year that she returns. She has since became a weapon used by the Cult of Willendorf, much like Solomon Grundy.

Famine - An ancient, demonic God of famine and death that seeks to induce global famine by transforming humans into obese, gluttonous demons that grow larger and hungrier the more they eat and then rule over the Earth as a resource-less wasteland. Famine becomes more powerful the more people he transforms as he is powered by their gluttonous energy. Possible endgame villain. Famine is treated as a Satan figure by the Cult of Willendorf.

- Other Characters

Captain Broadside - A towering and equally muscular pirate-themed amazon of a woman who, back in her super villain days, committed pirate-themed robberies and heists with the help of her all-female pirate crew, The Buxom Buccaneers and her massive, flying Airship, The Valkyrie. Broadside was highly feared by civilians and revered by her fellow villains and was considered to be Rebound’s arch-nemesis. One day however, Broadside ended up falling in love with one of her hostages, a stockbroker by the name of Morgan Roberts. Eventually she retired and started a family with Morgan having twelve kids total. Now as a stay at home mom, Broadside has softened up, both literally and figuratively as she still retains her Amazonian physique but with a well-rounded behind and softer tummy. Broadside now lives happily in suburbia with her new crew and her and Rebound and even started to become friends, Broadside’s delicious and equally fattening New Orleans soul food styled cooking winning her over.

Tony Formaggio - A teenaged employee of Rebound’s favorite pizza place, Porco Grasso. Tony, having a taste for big girls as well as older women, has a massive crush for Rebound and always gives her discounts and extra food with no charge and she’s always willing to up on his offers. Tony however soon becomes an ally to Rebound, acting as a Jimmy Olsen to Rebound’s Superman, getting intel on super villain plans and occasionally helping on cases, using the classic “pizza boy interrupting criminal meetings” routine.
