  29. Cepheus White: "I think there's a terminal of some sort north of here, but I see more machines hiding in an alcove in the corridor north as well."

  32. Danny Green: Danny asked, full of whim and fire.
  33. Cepheus White: "Either find another way around, or take them on head-on. DNA managed to repulse the last two with barely any trouble."
  34. * DNA-D was getting Worked Up to take on even more robots.

  36. DNA-D: He was steadily becoming more and more dangerous.
  37. Crystal: "They have a lot of immunities though. They don't act like Steel types."

  73. * Crystal gestures to the Machines. "You don't have authorization to demand our identification."

  75. Danny Green: "Your lord and master!"

  132. Dandy: Dandy lifted off the ground about an inch, gaining flight. She then rushed forward.
  133. DNA: (note that Dandy is at +6 speed and thus has an increase of movement by 3)
  134. Dandy: (she's got like 30 movement regardless)

  136. Dandy: +7 due to danny's feature
  137. DNA: i didn't even know that. would have helped during the sky fight. o_o

  151. * DNA-D moves closer, shifting to his more usual appearance, and generated some sort of energy staff in his hands.

  155. DNA-N 1: I assume that there are only 2 hits. I'll have 1 hit of Bone Rush hit each one. The crit will be given to Machine 4.

  158. DNA-N 1: Either way, if their physical defense is lower, add 8.

  163. * DNA-N 1 brandished his energy staff as it dissipated.
  164. Both Machines are struck by DNA-N and crumble to pieces from the strikes.
  165. Venec: Venec charged into action the second he saw the guns lowered at Miranda, but before he could take a step the machines had been cleared. Venec paused, dropped his stance and put his hands in his pockets.
  166. DNA-N 1: "Thank you for the initial attack, Arceus."
  167. Arceus 1: "Eh, these things happen. No thanks required."
  168. DNA-N 1: (still in init right now, or no?)
  169. Arceus 1: (( Nope. ))
  170. DNA-N 1: k
  171. * DNA-N 1 shifted back to his more cautious, stalwart form.
  172. DNA-D: "Mr. White, a moment, please. I see some sort of glass container back here."
  173. Arceus 1: (( Oh, by this point, clones and combat stages will revert to normal. ))
  174. DNA-D: DAMN! ;-;
  175. Dandy: (i still keeps my +2 by being ridden?)
  176. * DNA-D felt so much weaker... like he was worn out...
  177. DNA-D: "I'm gonna...gonna have to work it back up again..."
  178. Arceus 1: (( If that's a feature, yes. ))
  179. Cepheus White: "What is it?"
  180. Danny Green: Danny and Dandy rushed toward the green tubular device.
  181. Miranda: "Thanks Venny.

  183. Danny Green: "By the by, anybody need healing?"
  184. Venec: "No one on my side's been touched."
  185. DNA-D: "I'm suffering a very minor amount of hurt."

  189. Danny Green: Danny plops off Dandy for a moment, causing the dragon to sigh in sadness. But Danny comes up to DNA-D and gives his boo-boo a kiss.

  192. Danny Green: "Expect a bill in the mail in three days time."
  193. * DNA-D instinctively has his skin turn to the texture of metal. (Iron Defense)

  207. Danny Green: (even the same person, like a clone?)
  208. Arceus 1: "Intelligence gets a little awkward when you get to a certain point."
  209. Venec: "Too inefficient for a cloning... tube thing. You'd think they'd line those up."

  211. Danny Green: "I am the most awkward person in the room," Danny declares, grinning.
  212. Mewtwo: "I had my first breaths in a very, very similar cage."
  213. DNA-D: "You think this is where the clones of you guys came from? From a chamber much like this?"

  215. Danny Green: Danny thinks, humming.
  216. Venec: "Why would they keep it on a ship like this? These are the small ones. Why would they get spaced out so far, or have such differently looking machines in the room?"
  217. Cepheus White: (Did I get anything off the Tech check? it was 23.)

  222. DNA-D: "Does that person look familiar to anyone any of you know?"
  223. You whisper to DNA: These don't appear to be clones. Nor does the technology appear to be anything like cloning. You can find a monitor on the front and begin using it to search for information.

  227. Cepheus White: "I don't think these are clones. I'm going to see if I can find out anything else."

  251. Venec: "Prolly just code. Random generated identification of some such." Venec turned to Mewtwo, "Think we could wake one up?"
  252. Mewtwo: "They look Human but they're on an alien death machine ship currently invading the world."
  253. Danny Green: "We should free them," Danny said, "because that's the right thing to do. We're heroes."
  254. Venec: "Testing their virus incubation? Bio-computers? Energy source?"
  255. DNA-D: "If you can, try to kill it. I feel it doesn't bode well."
  256. Danny Green: Danny tried to open the pod, freeing the creature inside.
  257. Crystal: "Is it possible to check what they are? They might be like the doppelgangers of us."
  258. Cepheus White: "I'm honestly conflicted. I don't even know what these things are, much less what they've done."
  259. Danny Green: "If I can study their biology, then I should be able to tell you!"
  260. Danny Green: "I am a doctor, after all!"
  261. Mewtwo: "Get to it Daniel!"

  286. Venec: "Jeez... so violent." Venec chuckled.
  287. Dandy: Dandy growls at Crystal.
  288. DNA-D: "I believe the highly irritable plant lady is asking you to kindly hurry up and get to the point."
  289. * Crystal glares at Dandy.
  290. You whisper to Danny Green: The individual inside of the machine is otherwordly. An outsider. A creature that should not exist. It is a perfect being of bio-mechanical creation. Her genes are the first of her kind. She has no parents and if you didn't just perform medicial ninjutsu you would've assumed she was born from nothing.

  292. She is flesh and blood and machine all at once, in perfect harmony. You get the feeling that she is the embodiment of Order, Chaos, Death and Rebith.

  294. She is not a clone and while identical to the one across the room, different just in the very slightest, enough for them to be two completely different people.

  296. Awakening them now would halt their growth and likely kill them, as they haven't matured enough for their brains to have collected enough data from the VOID to sustain themselves. In a week, however, they will. And they will awaken, fully intelligent, fully aware and with knowledge beyond the common scientist.
  297. Venec: Venec poked around the grates he found in the room, trying to see or smell anything under them.
  298. Dandy: Dandy glares back at Crystal like Popeye glares at his rival Bluto.
  299. * Crystal is unamused. "Danny, what did you find out about the person in the tank?"
  300. You whisper to DNA: Oh, and before I forget ot mention, the 'pods' as we'll call them, are stationed directly above trap doors.
  301. Danny Green: "They are a product of science: they weren't made from nothing, but from magic."
  302. Cepheus White: "Oh? Here's something..."
  303. Danny Green: "She is flesh and blood and machine all at once, in perfect harmony. You get the feeling that she is the embodiment of Order, Chaos, Death and Rebith."
  304. Cepheus White: "There looks like some kind of door under here. Like a trap door."
  305. Danny Green: "If we free them, it'd probably kill 'em."
  306. Cepheus White: "I'd wager this is how our clones were dropped from the sky ships."
  307. Danny Green: "But give it a week, and they'll be fully awesome. Super smart. That sort of thing."
  308. Cepheus White: "Which means they're creating something or someone else."
  309. Danny Green: "Hmmm..."
  310. Danny Green: (can Danny check how to reprogram their growth?)
  311. Kaorin Sakura: Sure can! Gimme some TECH stuff.
  312. Kaorin Sakura: I mean roll. Tech ROLL.
  313. * Danny Green rolls: 2d6+8 => 4 + 8 = 12
  314. Danny Green: "I am trying to reprogram them to fight on our side."
  315. Cepheus White: "How about you let ME try and do that instead?" 27
  316. Danny Green: Danny is pushed out of the way, with a 'oof!'
  317. Venec: Tech! 0
  318. Danny blindingly taps random buttons on the screen and the pod sparks.
  319. Danny Green: Venec is obviously picking his nose and yelling "Science!"
  320. Venec: "Hmm... this appears to be a grate of some sort."
  321. Venec: "Perhaps to let small objects or liquids in, and keep larger objects out..."
  322. Pod: The pod suddenly turns purple as red blood and blue goo begins flowing out of hte woman's pores.
  323. DNA-D: "Venec, are you pretending to be smart?"
  324. * Cepheus White leapt back in shock!
  325. Danny Green: "What did you do, Cepheus?"
  326. Venec: "... not really. I've seen these things before in pictures and stuff, but I can't for the life of me recall actually seeing one."
  327. Cepheus White: "...I'm not sure...!"
  328. You whisper to Venec_Myles: It is an air vent, allowing flow of air out of the ship, but not inside. You can see, through a long metal corridor, the sky outside.
  329. Danny Green: "Quick! Press more buttons!"
  330. DNA-D: "Huh, you don't say. Grates do sound interesting."
  331. Danny Green: "Pressing more buttons always helps!"
  332. DNA-D: "...wait, what were we talking about again?" (+2 SpDef)
  333. Cepheus White: "All right, I'll try!"
  334. * Cepheus White sets to work again. Will that require another Tech roll?
  335. Venec: "Huh, it leads outside..." Venec rubbed his chin with his tail.
  336. Pod: (( Sure! ))
  337. Cepheus White: darn. I liked my 27.
  338. Pod: (( Oh, we can keep that. ))
  339. Cepheus White: I will keep it
  340. * Cepheus White fiddles, trying to reverse or staunch the effect of whatever Danny did.
  341. You whisper to DNA: You do a quick scan of the female's curent condition and you find that she is deceased. Brain function overloaded and terminated. What's surprising is that you find that her will and knowledge, or her soul, has been safely stored away.

  344. Cepheus White whispers: Yes. What container will it be stored in?
  345. You whisper to DNA: It will be exported via a small box.
  346. * Pod begins whirring.
  347. * Pod opens up a small door and ejects a slender purple object.
  348. Cepheus White: (what are the dimensions/appearance of this object?)
  349. Danny Green: can danny do a medical check on it?
  350. Pod: (( It is a rough cylinder shape. It is as long as your hand from your wrist to your middle finder but can otherwise fit perfectly in it when grasped. It is warm to the tough and feels smooth like flesh but is as hard as stone. ))
  351. Pod: (( He caaaaaaaaan, but it wouldn't really help. ))
  352. * Cepheus White picks up the object.
  353. Pod: touch* not tough
  354. Cepheus White: "...This is all that's left...?"
  355. Pod: (( Added it to your pokehome. ))
  356. Danny Green: "Maybe it's a Ditto."
  357. Danny Green: Danny goes over to the other pod, "Try this one now!"
  358. Danny Green: Danny studies the person inside.
  359. * Danny Green rolls: 6d6+8 => 23 + 8 = 31
  360. Venec: Venec tried to snag Danny's leg with his tail, but grabbed Dandy's instead.
  361. Dandy: Dandy roared, not liking anybody touching her tail.
  362. You whisper to Danny Green: Same result but the woman is just slightly different enough from the other biologically to be called a different person.
  363. Danny Green: "She's slightly different!"
  364. Venec: "Sorry, aiming for your leg."
  365. Danny Green: "Hmmmm," Danny considers his option. "Quick! Use your cleverness here Cepheus!"
  366. Danny Green: "If these are enemies, they're likely to be found in other ships," Danny said, "and getting samples would be important to combat them if they're a threat."
  367. Cepheus White: "...All right."
  368. Cepheus White: 25 Tech check
  369. Pod: (( What exactly are you aiming to do here? ))
  370. Cepheus White: ...good question...
  371. * Cepheus White thinks.
  372. Cepheus White: I'd think try and view the status and vital signs of this organism as well. If possible, try and reprogram its brain onto our side.
  373. Venec: "So do we know where these ships come from yet?"

  1406. Kaorin: "I felt you guys nearing the end. I wouldn't have many other opportunities."

  1408. DNA-N: "....If all you're here for is to say hi, it can wait. You of all people should know what we have to do."

  1435. Cepheus White: "So we're fighting against something that can cut time."
  1436. Cepheus White: "And how exactly do we fight against or stop that?"
  1437. Crystal: "Ah. Items and such?"
  1438. Danny Green: "With our fists."
  1439. Kaorin: "It doesn't control time. It's using the wound as a way to manipulate it."
  1440. Kaorin: "No different than controlling solar rays with a magnifying glass."
  1441. Venec: "... I want some ice cream."
  1442. Danny Green: "We could also use money as a weapon."
  1443. DNA-N: "Can this wound be closed? Such as by Dialga?"
  1444. Danny Green: "If time is money, then money must be as powerful as time."
  1445. Crystal: "Not sure what would be best to buy. I have a few thousand pokedollars, though."
  1446. Kaorin: "It cannot be fully healed. It'll always be wounded here, but it can left alone. It's only be agitated and that only makes a wound worse."

  1448. DNA-N: "...Sounds like a rip in the ozone layer."
  1449. DNA-N: "...except worse."
  1450. Danny Green: "It's obviously climate change."
  1451. Danny Green: "The Greens were right all along."
  1452. Crystal: "So it can control the 'wound' of time here to a degree."
  1453. Kaorin: "A very small degree, yes."
  1454. Kaorin: "Anyway, that ice cream..."
  1455. Crystal: "... I really don't know how afraid I should be of that, but we don't have much choice. All that says is we definitely need to kill it. A lot."
  1456. * Kaorin motions to her right.
  1457. Venec: Venec was mostly lost by the jargon again, but his ears perked at ice cream.

  1459. Venec: Venec's eyes opened wide.
  1460. Danny Green: "Ring, ring." Danny entered the portal.
  1461. Venec: It took everything he had not to charge in.
  1462. * Kaorin turns to the portal and you can see the Pewter City merchant at her station in the Mart, safe and sound.
  1463. * DNA-N couldn't bring himself to go in. Or move.
  1464. Kaorin: "This is Pewter City. Before now."
  1465. Danny Green: (wait. are we meant to enter it?)
  1466. Kaorin: "I believe you favoured the Ice Cream here."
  1467. Venec: "... we can't visit it right now?"
  1468. * Kaorin snaps her fingers and the portal vanishes.
  1469. Kaorin: "You cannot step back in time."
  1470. Danny Green: Before Danny has the chance to jump in, stumbling forward.
  1471. Venec: Venec looked down, his confidence was shaken. "... I'm really worried about everyone."
  1472. Kaorin: "But you can trade with it."
  1473. Danny Green: "Not me!"
  1474. * DNA-N shook a bit, then fell down on 1 knee."
  1475. DNA-N: "Why ...are you showing us a vision of the past...?"
  1476. Crystal: "... Kaorin, you know our capabilities, and you know the threat we're going to face more than anyone. Could you... help? With the resupplying choices. I don't know what to focus on."
  1477. Kaorin: "I'm allowing you to trade with the past."
  1478. DNA-N: "Didn't you come to give us any advice or aid on how to combat what's up ahead?"
  1479. Venec: "...I shouldn't have come. you all are stronger than I am, you don't need my help. I should have stayed back..."
  1480. Venec: Venec covered his eyes with his palm.
  1481. DNA-N: "...Dammit Venec..."
  1482. Kaorin: "A little late to regret a decision now, isn't it Venec?"
  1483. DNA-N: "I can barely stand right now and you're wussing out on me?!"
  1484. Kaorin: "One day you'll need to stop being the shadow of your father and being your own man."
  1485. Kaorin: "You made a decision, you knew the consequences and the reward."
  1486. DNA-N: "Ow!!"
  1487. * DNA-N fell down on both knees and was supporting himself with his arms.
  1488. Kaorin: "Your resolve better not weaken before you go into great battles. It'll only hurt you."
  1489. Venec: "...."
  1490. DNA-N: "...We came this far; we can't afford to back out."
  1491. Crystal: "Venec, I'm not strong. I'm tactical, but most of my skills probably won't work out. We're not here to doubt ourselves. Venec, DNA, get ahold of yourselves. We're weaker than we may need to be, but that's not what matters. We're not gods, or kings and queens. We're not armies. But we're Team Oak, and we do the impossible. We'll do the impossible now, as we've done it before, and we'll do it again."
  1492. DNA-N: "Think of your friends. Think of your family. ...Think of May."
  1493. Crystal: (charm or command to raise morale?)
  1494. Kaorin: (( Charm. ))
  1495. DNA-N: "I don't think any of them would have wanted you to throw in the towel here."
  1496. Crystal: 31 trying to inspire team oak
  1497. DNA-N: "And...it's not that I'm afraid to fight."
  1498. DNA-N: "It's that I know my time is running out."
  1499. DNA-N: "The thought of all of this just ending is...crippling. I can't stand right now. I don't know why but I'm paralyzed by a fear that's not my own."
  1500. Venec: "I just... I hate not being there for them... I know this is the right thing to do." He dropped his hand to his side, his eyes reddening. "But... I feel like I'm sacrificing the people I could have defended."
  1501. * DNA-N steadily rose to his feet.
  1502. Kaorin: "Defended against an endless army? Against waves of unending forces?"
  1503. DNA-N: "But I didn't come this far to break a promise. I'm going to fight."
  1504. Crystal: "If you were with them, then we'd be weaker for it. And unless we have everything, we won't be able to stand against this. It'd be sacrificing the world if you weren't here."
  1505. Kaorin: "You'll expire eventually while the enemy will only continue to swarm."
  1506. Venec: "I have faith in Team Oak. They're stronger than anyone. I could have bought time."
  1507. Danny Green: "Wait. There's a reward for saving the world?"
  1508. Kaorin: "This won't stop the armies. But, it'll likely stop the supply line. If you have victory here the endless armies cease being endless."
  1509. Venec: "... so the husks don't spread if Missingno is destroyed."
  1510. * Kaorin folds her arms and frowns a bit,
  1511. Kaorin: "Not...quite."
  1512. Kaorin: "There's two kinds of husks here."
  1513. Kaorin: "The spawn and the origin."
  1514. Crystal: "Missingno is the source. The husks will still be active, but they'll be finite. They can still infect, but they can be eliminated."
  1515. Kaorin: "The spawn are the ones you're probably more familiar with. The canon fodder. They're the ones that are turned."
  1516. Kaorin: "The origin are the ones created outside of the spawn."
  1517. Kaorin: "Both carry that plague you're familiar with. But, you all have what you need at your fingertips to create a cure."
  1518. DNA-N: "So much for that Michael person claiming it was incurable."
  1519. * Crystal hugs Kaorin and Miranda again.
  1520. DNA-N: "I knew there was a solution of some kind."
  1521. Kaorin: "It was for her."
  1522. Kaorin: "But I mean, you now have that thing."
  1523. * Kaorin points to the large Sky Ship parked over a beach.
  1524. Kaorin: "And I'm sure you met with it's nano-machines in the med-bay."
  1525. Venec: "... we could get it to michael and and oak." Venec mumbled.
  1526. Kaorin: "Yes, you could."
  1527. Crystal: "Once Missingno is dead."
  1528. Crystal: "There's no point if we don't do this first."
  1529. Cepheus White: "Of all the presents we sent Oak, I think this one is going to be the most crazy."
  1530. Crystal: "We sent him a nuclear reactor."
  1531. Venec: "... we should have brought that reactor. Woulda made a good bomb."
  1532. Crystal: "A sky ship isn't as crazy as a nuclear reactor."
  1533. Crystal: "I have a feeling Oak was using it."
  1534. * Kaorin rubs her chin thoughtfully.
  1535. Cepheus White: "Unless the sky ship has nuclear reactors on it."
  1536. Kaorin: "The Sky Ship is a lot less alien than you think. Just pretty darn high tech."
  1537. Kaorin: "Regardless, I can patch you into pockets of history."
  1538. Kaorin: "You can do trade, re-supply and run in with your resources replineshed.
  1539. Cepheus White: "Isn't that against some kind of rule?"
  1540. DNA-N: "Who cares?"
  1541. Venec: "... this whole thing is against the rules."
  1542. DNA-N: "As long as it helps kill Missingno., why worry?"
  1543. Kaorin: "What you're facing is against many rules."
  1544. Crystal: "The world is about to either end or be saved. Rules be damned."
  1545. DNA-N: "See, Mr. White?"
  1546. DNA-N: "You forget there are no rules in war. We use what we have at our disposal."
  1547. * Kaorin looks at her watch and scratches her head.
  1548. * Kaorin reaches out and the portal opens again.
  1549. Kaorin: "Just tell me what you think you need and we can arrange a trade. Selling is a thing as well."
  1550. Danny Green: "I laugh in the face of rules."
  1551. Danny Green: "Ha Ha Ha!"
  1552. Kaorin: (( Okay! ))
  1553. DNA-N: "That sounds like a quote from The Lion King."
  1554. Kaorin: (( It's 30 after midnight ))
  1555. Kaorin: (( And this couldn't be a better opportunity to quit. Right at the book-work time. ))

  1577. Danny Green: "Yeah. I know. Muahahaha!"
