Heockius: -I glance up and wave to Kiki- Hey!

Rhyaad: /me walks down the dark stairwell, disturbed that he does not see Selene. He presses on.
kikistrawberrys: uh... *stares at the blood and the symbol on the floor* I think thats the least of our problems..
Heockius: -The first thing they would notice is the stark contrast of the white stone walls to the library above. The air has a slight chill and everything has a layer of dust covering it. The stairwell opens into a chamber below. There is an uneasy feeling in the still air of the room and in the center is a panel of black stone. A single lantern's light flickers and struggles to keep the shadows at bay-
Rhyaad: Jokur, this looks like it could be dangerous. You go first.
TheJokur: (lol)
TheJokur: -waltzes in
Rhyaad: /me follows the Jokur....
Heockius: -I stand by the door and look around the room- I found this earlier... I couldn't identify the symbol... and... -I kneel near the center and motion to the dried blood that stains the stone- This is... Unsettling...
Rhyaad: "Gads! A Dark Ritual! And it is." He sniffs the blood.
kikistrawberrys: how old do you think this room is? *looking around in the dark*
Rhyaad: what's the blood? Human? Animal? Fresh, old?

Heockius: -The object that is refracting the light is small and on the floor. It doesn't move at all-

TheJokur: fine...-goes over to it and nudges at it with one foot

Heockius: -The object he would nudge would clatter slightly. The sound of metal on stone would drift through the chamber. It was a small dagger-
Rhyaad: I'll study this design. It may be related to Starry Wisdom, but Artemis would be the expert on that.
TheJokur: -nods
Heockius: I figured between you and Doctor you could identify it.
Rhyaad: Let me see that Dagger, Jokur.
TheJokur: -he picks it up to hand it to him
Rhyaad: /me takes the dagger and examines the blade.
TheJokur: -he stares at the dagger with interest
Heockius: -Handling the dagger either of them might notice a feeling. It would feel almost thirst. The blade is covered in dried blood that would smell like the blood on the floor. The cross guard was gold and the handle was wrapped in black leather-
Heockius: *thirsty
kikistrawberrys: *peaks over jokur's shoulder and looks at it*
Rhyaad: Blood.... the same blood as that on the floor. I thought this was a murder scene. And this knife makes me feel odd.... Blood", he repeats, and stares at the Jokur's neck.
kikistrawberrys: Rhy?... you.. okay?
Heockius: I did not see that dagger earlier... I was a little preoccupied by the circle...
Rhyaad: /me blinks. "Oh... nothing. I'm fine."
TheJokur: -he notices the stare and steps back slightly without thinking
Heockius: Rhy? -I would lean towards him- Are you sure you're okay?
Rhyaad: "I'm sure, Selene. It's just that this dagger, it has some residual.... something on it. It must be magical." He puts it down.
Heockius: Oh.. -I step away from the dagger- Well...
Rhyaad: Jokur? Did holding it make you feel anything unusual?
Heockius: I'll... have to see about getting a preasure washer... and smudge this room...
TheJokur: -his head snaps up at that and he makes a face, but then he shakes his head after a few moments...

Rhyaad: NO! Leave it just as it is. We need to do some forensic investigation.

Rhyaad: "The dagger made me... thirsty" He looks at the Jokur. "As if it wants his bright crimson flow, not the dark ransid crust that covers it. How would it taste?"
Heockius: -Andre would see the library empty and a panel of the wall open in the occult section. Inside would be a stairwell-
Heockius: Wait... You're saying the dagger WANTS to spill blood?
TheJokur: unfair? why me? -he scowls
Rhyaad: I... I don't know... But it made me... think of it.

Rhyaad: * Andre's word echoes down the dark stairs *

Rhyaad: Rhy stands around looking disturbed. "I'm sorry Jokur"... he begins, but then stares in shock at where Andre just vanished.
