[01:41] Ikkaku Ukitake says, "<Either this head is Somnus or he had a twin brother>"
[01:45] Ikkaku removed a vial of blood from the inside of his cloak. The cork pops off and sky blue eyes stare towards the liquid that rises within. It takes a moment before forming a whip of blood, clenched within the gloved hands.

"Move back. This might get messy.."

Ikkaku waits a moment for Amane to get out of range. Then the head flies upwards as if pulled by invisible strings. The whip in hand slices through the head while it stays together a moment.

.. A single slice couldn't possibly-

The blood within the head boils and rots. It takes but a moment but like acid it starts to dissolve flesh. The Miasma rots the bones, weakens them and consumes them as Ikkaku slices into the skull several times. Slowly it becomes more and more of a liquidized mass, merely floating and bubbling in the air until nothing can be told to be flesh or bone from the bloody gloopy consistency.

An empty vial is removed from Ikkaku's belt and the blood flows both within the original vial and the new for proper storage.

"Done."
(Ikkaku Ukitake)
[01:48] Ikkaku Ukitake says, "<Ikkaku is filling two vials with blood>"
[01:48] Standing back Amane had patiently waited; watching, wide eyed wonder and focused as she glared at the head. Expression darkended, glaring the way of it with a look of mixed emotions; malice and sadness mixing together at once in a weird display, contorting her expression with concern and a frown.

This had been the face of someone that had done so much wrong.

But there was a nod, Amane stepping back; out of the way of the head as she watched Ikkaku do his work. The rotting of the head, bubbling and decaying into nothing; Somnus' features slowly melting with them.

And as she watched? She started to cry a bit. Silent, and motionless, but there were certainly tears running down her face.

Shizuki's death sentence.

"G-Good job lord Ikkaku..."

Even as she cried, she would nod and smile brightly; walking back to be at the side of the man as he filled the vials with the remains.

[01:52] Nara storms inside of the building along side rayan. He was huffing his face was in a snarl along with gritted teeth and a nasty glare towards the two.



he would stare at the head and fall silent once more before speaking with his head hung low.


" you're..no different from demons... the things that separate us from them is that we do not let our own die...at least that's what I thought... I know you think this was the best idea...but I know if it was you ikkaku there would be no question on what to do...they would try to save you with no hesitation.... this action speaks volumes of your character... nara takes a glance towards amane for a moment. then back down at the ground

[01:55] As opposed to Nara's feral glare, Rayan was the epitome of serenity. His face lacked its casual smile, but he held no malice in his gaze. An aura of Holy would flare to life at the sight of the blood vials, a bit of frost forming on the carpet beneath.

"It is a no win situation," He spoke quietly. "We give them a head and participate in something evil to get someone back. Or, we destroy the head but allow someone to die, another undeniably evil act. It is just as Ikkaku said, however--

When you go to war, you must be prepared to die."

He shook his head, his eyes bloodshot. "I don't want her to die either, but I will say that if Nara wished to interfere earlier-- he could have. We all could have prevented Ikkaku from destroying his head. We are all to blame for her death sentence."

[02:05] Ikkaku would be glared at, yet as the vials of blood continued to fill there would be a blue glow blowing from them. The Regent of Ardent looks towards Nara, their expression unreadable, yet their words..

"We do not barter with demons and demon supporters. We do not throw down our morals so they may walk upon them. We do not give Necromancers the tools to do their dirty work. We do not bend to demands, we do not break. I refuse to do underhanded deals and spit on my word.

There are lines that can't be crossed. There are things we shouldn't do. For we pay too high a cost, and you lose a piece of you."

The Regent then stares at Nara. "It would not happen to me. The second I get caught by the demons is the second I die, by their hand or mine. I have never traded with a Demon, and I do not intend to start bartering now.

I don't want Shizuki to die. I don't want any of the good people of Ardent to die. Which is why I was willing to hear your plan. But the way that I see it..

He would have tortured her for a month before and after we delivered it. Or he could break his word. This will ensure that at least she won't suffer for long."

An exhale.. Before the Regent walked over to Amane and would wrap their arms around her. There is a patting of the Drakanite's back several times. "Please.. Do not cry.."

A swallow before they let go, fists clenching before starting towards the door. "Is there more to speak about?"

[02:09] A bit of a sniffle, but the girl was quickly recovering; looking to Ikkaku with a tiny nod and a smile at the sudden, though not having to look up due to being an even height. It wasn't until she was released and started moving, that she would say anything more.

"We're not the ones threatening to kill Shizuki...We'll be sacrificing our win against Somnus, AND another person to retrieve her...There's nothing more we can do, unfortunately.

It doesn't make us bad people that someone else murders our own..This is war; caving to their demands is a death sentence in its own right. What if we did accept? We'd have to deliver the head, and they would attack us then...

It's a no win situation; that the kind of position Lucan /wanted/ to put us in...Giving in to his egotistical demands will end with more death.

A glare; in the direction of the man, before the Drakanite would turn and walk alongside Ikkaku. Sighing, a bit, at Nara's continued...back talk.
