Act 1:
    Scene 1:
        John Highlander is an immortal and wanders the world. He is searching
        for his father Connor. Time passes and eventually he finds himself in a
        dystopian future. He meets an old man named Evan, who knew his father.
    Scene 2:
        Evan trains John in the art of swordplay with a magical blade called
        "Lightbane".
    Scene 3:
        Years later Evan is on his deathbed and warns John of a vision he had -
        John will someday lose his arm. He tells John that his father has an
        evil clone named Kevin. Kevin was actually the one who claimed the prize
        at the end of the first movie, while Connor was locked away in an evil
        laboratory. Since Connor is immortal, he is probably still there even
        though centuries have passed. Evan dies.
Act 2:
    Scene 1:
        John decides to storm the gates of the laboratory. However, he is
        quickly apprehended by guards.
    Scene 2:
        John is thrown in a holding cell, which coincidentally right next to his
        father's cell! Connor gives John some backstory and then John breaks out
        of his cell by stealing a key from a passing guard. He offers to let
        Connor out too, but Connor opts to stay behind, because he has his own
        quest.
    Scene 3:
        John sneaks through the facility and collects his gear from the room
        where it was being held. But then the administrator of the facility,
        Helga, shows up. John opts to flee rather than fight.
    Scene 4:
        After a brief chase, John suddenly finds himself outside in medieval
        scotland. How could that happen? John is confused. He's more confused
        when he sees someone who looks just like him forging a sword just like
        Lightbane. Then the scene shifts - the whole thing was a simulation and
        Helga and her scientists were using John to find out how Lightbane was
        created.
    Scene 5:
        Thousands of guards show up to fight against John with their mass-
        produced Lightbane replicas. They're no match for the real thing,
        though. Even Helga herself isn't a match, and is easily killed. But then
        another figure shows up - Kevin! He looks just like Connor and wields
        his own magic sword called "Aerolite". Aerolite is so powerful that
        Lightbane is destroyed when Aerolite parries one of Lightbane's attacks.
        Kevin cuts off John's arm and leaves him to die.
Act 3:
    Scene 1:
        An old man comes to the lab and rescues John. His name is Notru. John
        recognizes him - he looks just like the man who mentored Connor years
        ago. Notru takes John to safety and explains that there is an alternate
        universe. Kevin is Connor's alternate. Notru is the alternate of
        Connor's mentor.
    Scene 2:
        Some time has passed, and John has recovered from his wound (although
        his arm is still missing). Notru takes John to a bar. He introduces
        John to another alternate - Olga. Olga is the other universe's version
        of Helga. Olga explains that she used to date Kevin in the other
        universe, but they broke up after crossing over. Now Kevin is working
        with Helga, and Olga wants to stop him. Olga also reveals that she (and
        Helga) are aliens, and that the lab was built with alien tech. She
        teaches John the secret to defeating Kevin - John's strength increases
        on higher ground, but Kevin's strength decreases under the same
        conditions. To win, John must be the highlander. Before any more can be
        revealed, John is captured by some of Kevin's spies who had been hanging
        out in the bar.
    Scene 3:
        John is taken back to the lab where Kevin challenges him to one final
        fight. Without Lightbane, John is fairly helpless at first, but
        gradually the fight works up to higher and higher ground, where the two
        combatants' strength is more evenly matched. But then Kevin reveals that
        he has the power to transform into a more powerful shape - a horrific
        unstoppable beast. Some time during the fight, the lab catches fire.
        As the lab crumbles, John leaps to safety from the roof, and is caught
        by Olga, saving him from a deadly fall. Kevin has no such luck - he
        plunges into the flames. The evil is defeated.
Epilogue:
        Connor explores the ruins of the laboratory. Finally he rounds a bend
        and speaks with a shadowy figure. The figure had orchestrated everything
        from the start. At the end of the scene we see that he is John's
        alternate universe counterpart - Jacques. He refers to Connor as
        "father", suggesting perhaps that the parentage of John and Jacques is
        not what we first believed.
