SCENE 21: HAIGE'S ARREST

(1633-1710)

The sudden knock on the door startles them all. Panicked, Haige urges his guests to hide, yelling in a whisper.

	HAIGE: "Hurry! Hind Inside It. You Keep Quiet."

The two put on an invisibility cloak. Haige answers the door.

	HAIGE: "Professor Doublic?"

	PROFESSOR DOUBLIC: "Good Night, Haige. Can I..."

	HAIGE: "Come In? Of Course, Please."

Professor Doublic has come in the company of another man, who one of the hiders recognise.

	LEAN WISLIN: "My Father'S Boss, Connie Lusy! The Dean Of The Magic Department!"

	CONNIE LUSY: "To Be Honest Haige, This Task Is Hard. I Have To Come, Three Melons Have To Attackedd. This Is Abid Trouble, The Department Must Do Something."

	HAIGE: "But I Didn'T! You Know That I Didn'T Do It!"

	PROFESSOR DOUBLIC: "I Hope That You Can Understand. I Trust... Haige."

	CONNIE LUSY: "Professor Doublic Listen To Me. The Record Is Not Good For Him, I Have To Take Him Away."

	HAIGE: "Take Me Away Where?!"

	CONNIE LUSY: "It Is Not Ahwooz Class."

The conversation is interrupted by a new arrival.

	RUXIS MAPHEL: "You Have Been Here? Good."

	HAIGE: "What Are You Doing Here?! Get Out Of My House!"

	RUXIS MAFLE: "Trust Me, I Don'T Want To Go In. Is This Called A House?"

(I admit, I kinda like the phrasing of that insult better than the original.)

	RUXIS MAFLE: "I Have Something To Do In School, And They Told Me That The President Is Here."

	PROFESSOR DOUBLIC: "You Went To School For Me? What'S That?"

	RUXIS MAFLE: "I And Other Director Have To Think That It Is Time For You To Go. This Is The Order To Stop Your Job."

Mafle hands Doublic a rolled-up parchment.

	RUXIS MAFLE: "There Are The Signatures Of 12 Directors. We All Think That You Are Gettting Worse. If This Is Going On, The Melon Bleed Will Die Out Soon. Think About It, This Will Be A Great Lose For Our School."

	HAIGE: "You Can Ask Him To Go! After He Leaves There Is No Nope For The Melons! There Will Be Somebody Get Willed Again!"

	RUXIS MAFLE: "You Think So?"

	PROFESSOR DOUBLIC: "Haige Cool Down. If The Directors Want Me To Quit, Then For Sure That I Should Go. But... If... Hogawalz Has Any Problem, There Will Be Somebody... Who Can Help."

	RUXIS MAFLE: "This Is Moving... Please."

	Mafle leads Doublic out the door. On his way out, the professor gives a knowing look towards the two invisible students.

	RUXIS MAFLE:"Sir?"

	CONNIE LUSY: "Go Haige. Go"

Haige excuses himself, seemingly soliloquizing to the empty air.

	HAIGE: "If... If There Is Somebody Who Wants Anything, What They Need To Do Is... Follow The Spider. Right, The Spider Will Lead Them. That 'S What I Want To Say."

Haige starts to leave, then decides he needs to add a Post Scriptum.

	HAIGE: "Oh Yes, I Need Somebody To Help Me To Feed The Roots. See You!"

And with that said, Haige is immediately sent to a demon prison on the mere suspicion of murder, with no hope of a fair trial.
