  1. Ebony Crow (Incoming~)
  2. Out in the wilderness, finally free. Feeling the cooling air bristle against the tree leaves as they sway a bit and giving a light dance in the evening, the sun spots poking through giving the forest a lovely shimmering look to it. There among the trees there was an extra large oak that stood pretty tall and wide, the bark of it having moss covering all over it, but it didn't bother the occupant that sat right at the base of the large oak. As the figure sat there, the distinctive sound of tearing of flesh could be heard, as a single spark ignited and soon the prepared kendling burst into flames. Then a few larger pieces of wood were atop of it, there it was able to be seen it was a woman sitting there. Her posture slouched over, while gnawing on a piece of the dear she managed to catch and kill, while she waited for the fire to roar to life in a bigger flame so that the rest could be cooked.Long dark raven black, almost an ebony colored locks cascaded down her back, only being tied together closer towards the ends of it. While her yellowish golden hues, stayed focused right on the flames as they grew. Her skin was quite fair, but it didn't do much in the way of protection from the elements, as she only adorned her somewhat curvy form was a simple quickly stitched together loin cloth. It seemed as if she had been living off of whatever she could find where ever she was, and pretty much enjoyed being that way. It had been a very long time since she would of had any company at all, but much less that the fact that she desired it. It had been quite a long time since she knew any comfort, or that of the kindness or love of another, she could barely even remember her parents, much less the name they had even given her. Most the time that she ran into anyone and they were the more friendly of sorts she would tell them to call her Crow. Then again most people she seen were the occasional hikers and campers, but not much more than that, the wilderness was her home and was something that she often enjoyed. But there was one draw back for her being who she was and that was simple enough to understand, when those shots rang out it could only ever mean demon hunters were near by. For now though she began cooking chunks of the deer over the open fire as she continued to new on a raw one. She didn't particularly mind it raw or cooked, but something about food being roasted over and open fire made her quite happy. Soon finishing off the raw leg, her face, hands and chest being covered in blood, she would reach to see if one of the other chucks were finished cooking. Just as she made her move, a gun shot rang out, "demon hunters..."She growled lowly as she took a chuck off and held it in her mouth and quickly dumped a small bucket of water over the fire, before scattering about the remaining food as she quickly took off from that spot. Looking around she would try and find the best direction to run towards, quickly heading eastward. The hunters themselves weren't far behind her, catching the smell of freshly cooked meat they grew excited "boys! She's close! We can't let this one get away from us again!" One of them shouted, presuming to be their leader. They quickly picked up the pace and the chase was on, the woman kept herself running as she could even hear the blood hounds closing in on her. A growl escaped her lips as she wanted to just be left alone, why couldn't these fools just leave her to be!? No, that's not in their nature or how they were raised, but to hunt and kill her.As she was running though, something strange seemed to appear, swirling in a beautiful bluish colored light, but before she had time to process it, the hunters were right upon her. "There she is! Get her!" Their leader shouted, one of the men ran up and as she turned around his short blade delve into her side. Making her turn and swing at him, but in doing so she accidently caused the tip of the blade to be broken off into her right side. Not stopping she quickly kept running as her right hand came down and held against her opened flesh wound made from a blessed blade that was burning and stinging. She couldn't stop, if she did, it would be over, but then suddenly her whole body started to fall, and right through one of those pretty bluish openings. Before landing hard on a wooden floor, with all of those things, surrounding her, a growl and a slight whimper came from her lips.Wincing as she looked down at her side, before applying more pressure against the constant bleeding wound, she just wanted to eat in piece, and oh man! She dropped that lovely juicy piece of meet trying to keep herself from being completely run through.

  4. Dartz Dartz was a bust man this evening...Or perhaps he was just giving into his greedy side and swiping what he could from various places. He was aware of the magical wards on some items and wouldn't fuss with them too much. So far he's been rather careful and hadn't drawn attention. His presence was akin to someone losing a sock in a dryer. Poof, it just disappeared. The portals he summoned up came in a variety of appearances, depending on what they were needed for. Sometimes pretty shiny things attracted creatures while more small and invisible ones needed to be well...less noticeable. He didn't want the owners of such objects to track him down and take back what was 'requested' by other clients. The Warehouse, as he named it, was coming together nicely. Everything stored away and categorized for much easier access, not that he needed it. Dartz was one of those people who could find anything in chaos. The current look though was organization, at least until he grew bored of it again. If one were to really look at the collection of items, they would see a timeline. One moment he'd be trying, say fuck it, then trying again. The man started humming a tune to break up the more mundane sounds of storing stuff. One of the portals in particular had opened up near where Ebony was running, as if expecting her to simply hop on in. He's had animals that have done that and be shipped off to a new destination. Some though proved to be a bit more difficult. The deal with her was supposed to be a pay up front then get the package. When Dartz said he'd retrieve something, he would...Most of the time. If he knew it couldn't be obtained, that was it. He wouldn't put forth the effort. What he should have done was wait until the money was present. Instead he put forth the effort in drawing Ebony out. The current clients requesting her were gathering the funds up as they spoke. The sooner the handoff, the sooner he'd go on to other things. Once he heard the thump though and smelled the blood. His attention went to the bleeding, half naked female. "<i>Damn. What'd you get yourself into?</I>" Damaged goods was never a pleasant thing. It reduced value by alot and he wasn't happy about it. His black shoes thumped on the wooden floor as he walked closer to her. His portals continued their work as he examined her. An easy fix, judging by the looks of things. She just needed to keep the pressure on the wound, which he was sure she would. His examination was brief and he actually walked away while she laid there. His hand went to the side of his head a moment and he'd start speaking. "<i>I have her.</I>" Pauses. "<i>NO, the agreement was pay first THEN you get the package. Until I see my pay, I'm keeping her as collateral.</I>" Another longer pause. "<i>Keep fuckin with me. I'll drop her ass back where she came from!</i>" And that was that, Dartz hung up with an aggravated huff/snort like a bull. The being shook his head and turned his attention back to the bleeding creature. Was he really going to let her die there? Probably.

  6. Ebony Crow The floor was quite hard, and wasn't making the wound feel much better, what a way to start the day, she was just simply minding her own buisness and just wanted to be left alone to live in peace til the day she died of old age. If dying was even possible at this point, as many times she ran into them and escaped with her life intact, but this was something and someone completely different. A groan left her lips as her fangs seemed to grow, she had to keep her dog self at bay, otherwise it would be disastrous for anyone near by. Her canines seemed to grow a bit past her bottom lip, as she could still feel the burning from the blade inside, she knew she'd heal up in a bit, but she had no clue where that damn thing went to. It could be anywhere inside of her body, but right now other things seemed to be catching her attention. Dispite the color of the bluish pretty openings her eyes shifted into their slitted form, as the sound of footsteps were heard coming her direction. A slight scoff atthe man's words "not a dâmn thing....fucking demon hunters.." She simply told him as she raised her hand once again, the bleeding was finally seeming to slow, good, that was good, but also bad she needed to figure out where the hell she was at. She would see the footsteps retreat, but would start to move, staying on a har floor was not something that she wanted, but her sharp ears of course heard this man's conversation and a smirk crossed her lips. "Awww all this fuss over just little old me..?" She asked with a dark sarcastic tone to it, finally steady on her feet, her hand still pressing down against her wound. A smirk dancing across her lips, if she could really get him to just drop her right back to where she was, she would be perfectly fine and capable of taking care of herself and her wound. Her bangs drifted over her eyes as she looked at the male, they were glowing slightly.A chuckle left her lips as she did so "they're not going to pay you, and are going to try and stiff you for everything you got" she told him simply. She couldn't understand what was happening as she was still getting used to her erratic powers, and ablities, but one she always had, was that ability to tell someone's true intentions. That small snipt of over hearing his and the other's voices let her know exactly what was the intentions of that one on the other end of the conversation. Surprisingly though she didn't run or attempt to escape, she had a feeling there wasn't a point to trying. She could feel the magnetic barrier keeping her from sensing which direction to go with those floating openings. Instead she more desired to see if he would figure out a way from under neath this mess, she wondered who it was this time trying to kill her,but that would probably be answered later."Do you at least have some rags, I'd hate to stain the floor with such precious blood?" She asked him simply, as she kept the pressure against the wound to keep it from spilling her guts out and dripping everywhere.
  7.
  8. Dartz He'd bare his teeth a bit at her answer and shook his head with a tsk. "<i>Ruinin something perfect.</I>" Oh did he just give her a comment? It could be taken as one, but it was more his greed talking on that one. Severe drop in value...Even though she was stating that those clients weren't going to pay him. "<i>Figured that one out Captain Obvious.</I>" Dartz was not happy with the situation and quietly scolded himself for being so stupid. Was it the promise of the money? Or the thrill of hunting down something difficult? Something blinded his suspicions, but now they could see. "<i>Tough chance of that happenin.</I>" What he lapsed in that moment of judgment, he made up in covering his tracks quite well. He'd snap his fingers and the portals would suddenly disappear. Enough collecting for now, now that he had an uninvited guest to deal with. His arms remained together and worked as two limbs as he wiped his hands clean. His dark gaze scanned her up and down. "<i>Floor's already ruined.</i>" He shrugged and once more it looked like he was going to let her bleed. Dartz was still thinking about whether or not she was worth healing. Ebony seemed to be holding on well on her own. Still a worth though...His mouth twisted a bit before a reluctant sigh escaped him. "<i>Come on then.</i>" When one went to a healer, one usually expected warm hands...That same warmth radiating though their body and making the hurt go away. With him though, that wasn't the case. His touch was cold, almost to the point of being stinging burning kind of cold. This would radiate out into her wound as it started to mend things up. It took very little effort on his part to accomplish the task. Dartz would close up the more devastating parts of it, then 'hesitant' on the minor. A scar could form if he let it go naturally, making what he just did no point. The pause may have been a blessing in disguise so the burning could subside some. Once sealed, he'd check his handiwork and nod in approval. "<i>Perfect.</I>" He repeated before stepping back. Once more he looked her over before snapping his fingers and a dress just falls from the sky and over her head like a sheet. "<i>Put that on.</i>"

  10. Ebony Crow (Possible in coming~)
  11. She seen his teeth, but they weren't as big as hers could get, but a slight quirk of her eyebrow was something that may go unnoticed due to her hair being in the way. The girl stood only about four feet and five inches tall, and from her height to his, it wasn't to intimidating for her to be bothered by him,but she would keep her face in a bit more of a neutral manner. "Yes, it was such a perfect dinner, and they just had to interrupt it" she mused with a sigh as she was now feeling three times as hungry now. Her body seemed to go into overdrive for food when she was wounded at any point, so her stomach was also grumbling a bit for the desire of flesh be fed to her. This was a huge pain, but at the same time she desired to see what it may be that would transpire with those that were orginally going to purchase her; even though she wasn't for sale to anyone.A slight giggle left her lips "my my, isn't someone a bit touchy today, but you missed what I meant, I suppose you'll figure it out sooner or later...let's hope for your sake it's sooner" she told him simply. As what she picked up from that conversation it was going to be more than just her they were after, but his own money and things it seemed. Though for now she would put up with the situation, just as long as he fed her as well, she would play the decent dog demon woman, but it wasn't a place she liked her hand to be forced into. "I don't their intentions seemed quite clear to me, but then again, that's why someone should just jump at every offer given; besides that, you really think that they or anyone else was the frist to come after me?" She asked him simply, her tone remained factual. But she remained standing still even as those protals finally disappeared and a slight crack of her neck to help stop the ringing in her ears.Looking down at the floor and herself "well whatever those stupid things are you have, should been more careful, but I was mostly refering to my blood" she responded, her temperament seeming to stay the same, of course that could change on a whim if she desired it to be so. But she could see he was debating something, but it soon washed away from him and she heard those words. Of course she was a bit leary, but shuffled herself over to him at his prompting. Mostly curiosity got a hold of her and what he was planning to do. But that soon was answered as she grit her teeth and a low growl came from between her teeth, she wasn't sure which was burning worse the wound she got from the blade or his hands. Either way she would bare and grin it until he was completely done, a tilt of her head and she would look down at her side slightly surprised he healed her up and there wasn't a scar. With her standing so close though, he would be able to see the many different scars she held, some were really large others were not. It was as if she went through a battle of sorts, but seeming to escape each attempt on her life. Then something like a sheet fell on her head and she stumbled a bit as she was a tad surprised "what the hell??" She yelled a bit, showing a bit of her temper, but it quickly subsided when she looked at the article of clothing in front of her. A really cute tilt of her head and then there they were her pointed ears were out and showing as curiousity overrided any other emotions. "What is this?" She asked as she held it up and shook it a bit. She had never worn or seen a dress before, so she thought that maybe it was just something they said to each other in the world of others that he deals with.
  12.
  13. Dartz He didn’t need big teeth to cause pain. Dartz had his knives and guns for that. Even his touch seemed to cause it, depending on if he used his claws or healing. For now he was just awash with annoyance and was now back to debating. Should he keep her or dump her ass right in the middle of the hunters? He could do that…Give her the two-sided promise that she’d be sent home. Just where exactly was the fun of it. The demon dog wouldn’t be his problem and he had plenty of things to make up for lost revenue. It was just finding the highest bidder. What he snatched wasn’t just useless trinkets. Some were high tech weaponry to low tech, jewelry, fabrics, rare flora and fauna (those of which were a quick transfer to their new owners.) He didn’t want to be held responsible for taking care of anything living. Ebony fell into that category for sure. Dartz was a busy man and didn’t need this distraction. He’d cross his arms once she spoke of how many tried to catch her in the past. “<i>I’m well aware of that. Yet, here you stand.</I>” A smile tugged the corner of his mouth. “<i>I’d call that a close success on my part.</I>” Even if he returned her or sold her to someone else, not many could say they’ve caught her. From what his ex-customers have told him, she was a rarity and a royal pain in the ass to capture. Her size was just a false sense of security and she was a powerful being. Well, Dartz had that arrogance and could port her away if he wanted to. Again, the promise of sending her home and forgetting the whole thing. He did hear her about being touchy and he was, though wasn’t going to verbally confirm it. His actions alone spoke the loudest. The Dealer didn’t like how she spoke either, which was making him note to re-enforce any sort of security he had. So far, he hadn’t been picking up any lies from her, which…Made things worse. On the outside, he didn’t appear worried. Dartz had a good poker face when he needed it. He’d shrug. “<i>I never ask a client their reason for an item.</I>” And he wouldn’t start asking now. Now it was his turn to quirk a brow and tilt his head. From just under the hat, his darken gaze seemed…More of a void. His white, cross shaped pupils having appeared to narrow. “<i>Stupid things?</i>” He repeated with a bit of an edge to his tone. The temptation was there to show her how ‘stupid’ his portals were. “<i>They’re called ‘portals’. I won’t let that slip again.</I>” Had he took the time to notice the other scars, he’d have tried to remove those too. They told a story of what all she’d gone through and it was something he was willing to erase. Instead, he’d just leave them be. His tone did lighten for a brief moment, watching how she reacted to the dress. ‘Stupid thing’ in action right there and it wasn’t even the tip of the iceberg. So many other things could be dropped or come through. Instead it was simply a dress, one…that she had no idea about. The naïve knew no bounds. “<i>Stick your head through the big end and find out.</i>”
  14.
  15. Ebony Crow (Possible incoming!)
  16. Size changing, that tended to surprise most of them, when they would finally corner her at some point, surprised at the face she's shifted into a ten foot dog demon. Of course none usually survives those temperaments of her's, killing every single hunter or ones that attempted to capture her. Not even their trqualizer of anything worked, but this male though, he had the perfect way with his silly portals. One such as her isn't going to be that stupid and run towsrds those things, that's how one lands into these situations, she should of considering moving continents again, why she didn't take that chance when she had it. Nothing will change that now, so she would deal with the present situation. There he went again debating, it was always just a feeling she trusted when it came to his intentions as well, it was interesting to be able to see someone so confused over a decsion. As she stood there, finally hearing his reply, "living and breathing" she mused out, before a scoff left her lips. "and yet, you still healed me, so it still a success as I stand here" she began before she shifted a bit tilting her head to the side. "Then again, you just can't seem to make up your mind on what to do, of course you could just toss me back to the wolves, but then again I also know what to expect this time, and you could try and sell me off to a new set of customers, but I'd just escape as soon as you weren't around" she began, "then of course they'd be looking for you, so then there's more trouble" she told him. It was as if she read him like a book. She had some serious 'street smarts' when it came to things like this, never really one that has actually captured her, she'll give him that of course there was no denying it. It would just save them both a headache, maybe her own a bit more for him to just let her go free. Then again who has idea what would happen to him when his now ex-customers would do when they did find this place. A bemused smirk came across her lips as she looked at him "you know the best way to know if somethings going to have negative effects is asking what they plan to do with it, tend to tell you a lot about what your getting into, self interest and all. A person tells a lot with their intent and what they plan to do to you if you ever break off a deal with them, and you wouldn't be in the mess your in now~" she sung a bit. It was just the facts of any shady life style, and it's why she prefers to be out in the wilderness, less complicated. Though at the edginess of his tone she could tell she must of hit a nerve, but she looked at him a bit of a glare "warning noted" she said slightly colder "to be fair how was it I supposed to know that they are called portals?" She simply asked him.Just as the dress hit her and she had a bit of a momemt, she would tilt her head as she looked at it and put her head in the big hole like instructed. But as she put it on her arms and head got tangled up into the fabric. "Oh.." She muttered out as she lost her balance, falling onto her bottom with a thund "ouch" she whimpered as she struggled with the thing. "Is this a silly trap! I hate dresses!" She whined as she was wiggling trying to escape it.
  17.
  18. Dartz "I have my fail safes." Though he wasn't about to tell her what they were. If she could sense someone's true intentions, and her ability was akin to his, Ebony would know he wasn't lying. This was HIS Warehouse and the portals appeared via HIS command. Should anything happen to Dartz, all would be lost. This place would become a useless void and maybe even a prison to whomever decided to break in and trigger the traps. All the treasures inside might go back to their original owners or be scattered to the winds. At that point, it wouldn't matter to the Dealer. He was known to keep to his end of the bargains. If, and that was a rare if, he couldn't supply, half their pay would be returned The other bit was to cover his services up to the disappointing moment. He would tell whomever he was dealing with the stipulations and beyond that would either be betrayal or obliging. Most of the time it was smooth sailing, for he caught on when someone was lying. Soon as that happened the deal was off and he'd disappear. It has gone on like that for years and this snag came along. An exciting challenge, but also a headache he didn't want to deal with. "Just torn between relievin myself of a pain in the ass or tryin to recover what I loss. So far the first is more enticin." Another shrug. "No loss on their side, seein as they cheated me." He still had that air of safety. Let them come if they were. He was getting he short end of the deal here. "Askin makes me nosy. The people I deal with don't like nosy." And that was that on the subject. Her singsong voice towards the end made him bristle some and his lip came up to bare his teeth again. " 'Things' would have worked just as well." Dartz wasn't going to let her lack of knowing be an excuse. Still the amusement of her turmoil almost made up for the situation. He was tempted to just leave her in it. "Yeah, caught you again." He'd give that bull like snort/huff before stepping forward. "By their God, how can you louse this up?" He wasn't nice in adjusting the dress and tried to guide her head through the hole and her arms into the others. "There." Clopping his hands together, he acted as if he was cleaning dirt off them. Dartz wouldn't offer to help her up or anything. Instead he'd snap his fingers and another portal appeared. This on leading out into the town of Rowan Lakes. "There's your freedom, now get."
  19.
  20. Ebony Crow "Even the best fail safes, fail time to time" she told him with a a quirked an eyebrow at him, a she hummed a bit in more of a thinking tone. Then again, she didn't doubt that he had quite a few decent ones, but he had no idea who he was really making deals with, there was always a more supernatural beings stronger than either of them that also tended to play roles of wanting to purchase rare items. That was something she learned early on, and yet managed to wiggle herself out of any tight situation. Either way she knew she was making him think, but her lips curled into a frown, at his words and scoffed a bit "you're one to split hairs, I find you cam be just as much as one yourself" she huffed out as she narrowed her eyes a bit at him, her ears were twitching a bit in annoyance at his words. She was truly only a pain to those that attempted to try and catch her, and kill her, or just going for the kill and forgetting the capturing bit. Who wouldn't feel the same way after so many years of repeating the same cycle, but the moments of peace were almost worth it. "Even those that cheat, one should watch closer, because one didn't get a little nosy, do know who they really are and if it'll come back and bite you in the ass" she told him with a bit of sigh as if that was something that even he should already know, but seemed to fail in that bit. But his pickiness over calling the portals stupid seemed to get under his skin "you act as if I was saying it about you, which it be not the case, unless you have unhealthy relationship with your portals?" She pondered out loud, before her misfortune befall her. She would grumble at his words "You just seem to have quite a thing for wanting to catch me!" She stated a bit more firmly as her aggravation was starting to set in.Usually by this point she was flying off the handle in a rage, and yet she wasn't, why? It could of been his portal's? Perhaps this silly dress, but she really had no clue that it was this man of all people that was keeping her somewhat calm, plus he's earn a tiny smidge of her trust for healing her up. "I haven't ever dealt with anything this confounding! I tend to avoid human shit! It's to dâmn complicated and messy!!" She growled lowly as she felt him roughly helping aid her and getting the dreadful thing on and her in it. Once it was fully on, she'd scrunch up her nose at the foreign feeling of the material against her skin, though of course the woman did indeed look as if she could use a bath, after all she spent most of her time in the wilderness. She would ignore that gesture of him seeming to wipe his hands clean, "thanks.." She muttered begrudgingly, before she stood back to her feet a bit more wobbly this time.Probably due to the loss of blood, she needed food, or something to help with this, and hunting was out of the question. She looked at the portal and then him, "a town? Seriously?" She asked, a bit of frustration was building, at least drop her somewhere she could navigate! "You expect me to go there?? Absolutely not!" Yep, she was being stubborn and didn't care, he knew better to even think she could function at all in a place with human's on her own. She would cross her arms and narrow her eyes at him.
  21.
  22.
  23. "Awww and here I was hoping to have a front row seat to the viewing of that" she told him with a slight pout, was she toying with him a bit? Possibly, but it all really depended on those that 'hired' him for her. Her lips soon curled into an amused smile for an odd reason, he seemed to know himself quite well, or perhaps it was all just a mask, of course it made her wonder what it was that he was trying to protect aside from his life. Then again she wasn't one to be quite nosy herself unless it would effect her in some way, and it was easy to know where she stood with this man. It was easy to see his motivation for these things was greed all one had to do was take a look around at the various items that seemed to be in their proper spots until drop off. She would giggle slightly as she smirked a bit "well, one such as yourself must be reminded on occasion, that some people in this world you shouldn't work for, it was just a little reminder~" she mused out a bit. It seemed that the woman was just toying with him more, but she couldn't help it, hence part of the pain in the ass she could be. Though it was only the tip of the iceberg, but after her question wanting to know, she would be able to tell that he wasn't being completely honest with her, but she wouldn't push that issue much for the time being. "I suppose that is fair enough, and makes it a bit more clearer as to why that's such a touchy button for you, then again, I suppose most supernatural beings do have something akin to it" she spoke a bit more analytically. Though a small annoyed look crossed her face "one is more than enough for me thank you very much" she gave a slight scoff. At least he wasn't actually attempting to kill her, then things may have gone a bit differently, then again she still had to find a way around those portals of his. "This thing must be a torture device, I don't see how any woman would want to wear a dâmn thing like this" she told him with a slight frown as she tugged at the dress a bit. She hated it, and the look on her face showed her clear distaste for the thing. Ebony had no desire to stay long term, mostly wanting just to see how things played out for him, but at the same time she knew she could be a pain. Then there was that other issue of hers, the moments of unable to control what emense power she had, there would be times that an entire wooded area would catch fire and then some. His intentions again were ringing quite loudly in her mind, but that was all shoved aside as she hadn't exactly paid much attention to the portal, save the town bit. She gave him an eye roll, as she narrowed her eyes a bit at him. But then her head tilted a bit at a single word that caught her attention, that which no one has ever called her by. A lady. She was slightly surprised by this, only due to the nuemous amounts of times she's just been called a beast or a monster that needed to be put out of her misery. "Wait!" She whined lightly as he stepped out of the portal into the town, at the last second she walked through it herself right behind him. Of course she wasn't planning to stay in that warehouse, to dark and no food, which was bad consodering she needed it. Though after the quick motion of her movements she winced a bit, she still felt sore, which was unusual even after his healing, something else she should of asked and yet hadn't was his name. "What do you go by anyways?" She asked him in a simple tone, before her ears perked up, and her eyes went a bit wider at seeing the town. "What's that?" She asked seeing someone go by on a bicycle, but she just tilted her head to the side out of just sheer curiousity. But then his appearance of his glamour caught her attention, a tilt of her head she would chuckle a bit "are you attempting to be a girl?" She asked with a playful smirk. Soon enough though the urge to play with his hair was won over, and she started to fuss with it as if it was her own personal toy to play with. Of course this might annoy him, but she didn't care it was soft and grayish silver so she was happy with the color of it and that it caught her yellowish golden hues. Though if he even did ask, she wouldn't know what to really give him as far as an answer to her own name, it's been lost to her memories for years now, so she just made up one for herself.
  24.
  25. Ebony though was enjoying her time out and about with Trip, occasionally feeding him crackers, she got smart with her money, she could buy more at the place all the groceries were held. The name slipped her mind in the present moment, but she would have the ability to eat more often as she pleased. Plus she found things called cookies Trip seemed to enjoy, feeding them one by one to him, as she would look at the stores. "I do feel a bit about taking things from there...maybe I can save enough to pay them for everything that she had done. What was she kidding she'd never work it off anyways, that seemed a bit expensive, but what choice did she have Dartz would of been furious with her walking around bare again. Though she did argue that it was completely natural to do so, perhaps it was a matter of perspective. But she wanted to avoid a lecture about it, or worse....them damned portals! She just hoped to find a solution to being able to escape them, she did want her freedom back completely; though he was still in the mess with those that wanted her in the first place. "Suppose time will only tell at this point" she mused as she gave trip another cracker as she walked along bare footed, still refusing shoes. But her sense seemed to smell something foreign to her as she walked along, her yellowish-golden eyes seemed to glow a bit, as they darted around for the source. Then her ears heard it, and now on much more of a defensive state, her eyes taking in the view of the bot creature, whatever the hell it was. "Oh, no no no, absolutely fucking not!" She growled out, before she swiftly turned tail and began to run. "Nope! Whatever the hell your talking about! You aren't removing a dâmn thing from me!" She snarled out as she made sure that Trip was safely tucked away, as she continued to run. Wincing more and more with each step, something was wrong inside; but didn't know what! But she wasn't going to let some robotic creature do it either! Who the hell knew what he was planning to remove! Running back towards the portal she knew was always open for her, she would dart threw swiftly, with a loud yelp and whimper. "DARTZ!" She yelled out as she landed on her knees, gaining a few splinters as well. All while making sure she didn't harm Trip by falling either direction.

  27. RAHbit Trip would probably seek vengeance upon the large metal thing later. He was being spoiled rotten by Ebony and was enjoying the moment up til this interrupting point. For now, the little fuzzball would stay hidden and let the female do all the running. Sure, he could maybe try and port them both somewhere safe, but he’s never tried to do that with a passenger. There was also that more destructive power of his, one he had no training with. When it happened it happened and everything was a target. Destroying everything to get rid of the ‘monster’ was a good excuse right? Well, he didn’t think that far ahead. Hiding was the best thing right NOW. Trip would be babbling off and on about the bumpy ride as Ebony took off. Rabbit would continue his approach, clearly seeing the item wedged in the woman’s side. Deep enough to not be seen, but not so much to case her fatal harm. Then again, infection could set in and kill her off slowly. There was always the chance of her falling on her side and driving the sharpen object further in. Immediate removal was confirmed, even as she ran. The robot wouldn’t take off after her, but did quicken his pace some. “<i>Foreign object detected. Do not run.</i>” Came the growl like metallic voice again. Of course the woman wouldn’t listen and continue fleeing from him. Unless something else got his attention, Rabbit would continue to follow her. Dartz was in his regular appearance and being the workaholic that he was. His greed kept the system going, making damn sure money continued to come in and his portals shipped their items. The meager allowance he gave Ebony would remain that way until she started pulling her weight around to earn more. Even then it wouldn’t be much of a raise. This was his project and sharing was something he didn’t fancy. There were times when she left the Warehouse that he was tempted to close shop. It was the only peace he seemed to have, when Ebony was out. Still, something kept him from doing such a thing. Was it the promise of pay not yet received? Perhaps. His greed was going to nip him one day, just not today! He was just about to send a few items on their way when Ebony bolted in and shouted his name. The sudden scare made him send the wrong package through the portal. “<i>Dammit Ebony!</i>” He snapped and pulled the item back to send the correct one. “<i>I don’t have time for this!</I>” Her yelp pretty much masked Trip’s own. As for Dartz he either didn’t hear it or cared. His black gaze rested on the panicked woman before tipping up and spotting the robot outside. He’d sigh and pinch the bridge of his nose before walking over. He’d step right past Ebony and look at Rabbit as he came closer. “<i>Go away.</i>” Dartz simply said before getting ready to snap the portal closed. “<i>Foreign object detected.</I>” Rabbit repeated and pointed at Ebony. This gave Dartz pause. “<i>What?</i>” Now looking down at Ebony. “<i>What’d you bring in here?</I>” It was about then Rabbit stepped into the Warehouse. “<I>Blade tip. Right side.</I>” Dartz’s attention snapped up to the intruder. “<i>Whoa there, back up.</i>” Rabbit would pause and scan the being before him before looking around the rest of the place. So many portals, so many charges, it was messing with his scanners. Focusing back on Ebony, the robot spoke again. “<i>Immediate removal required. Comply.</i>”

  29. Ebony Crow As Ebony ran, she was showing no signs of stopping to listen to the metal walking talking thing! Whatever the hell it was she just wanted it to leave her alone! But she couldn't make him do anything, she didn't even know if there was enough power in her body that would sufficiently affect the creature, plus it was much to dangerous for her to even want to try. Not after the last few times, no, she couldn't use it, it was to sporadic and she couldn't truly handle it if she hurt anymore innocent people just living their daily lives. So the only choice left was to run back home to Dartz. Of course she had no clue about Trip's ablities then again, it wasn't like they had exactly had a lot of time to figure that much out about each other. Though they were alike a bit with a destructive nature that would tear everything apart in their grasps. Probably wouldn't stop unless someone made them to stop, or everyone and everything was quite deader than a doornail. She kept running and heard Trip's squeaks of bounciness and she felt bad as she was trying to get her side to stop feeling like it's burning up from the inside out. "Sorry.....just hold on...okay?" She managed out gritting her teeth as the more she ran the more it burned. That blade was particularity extra blessed from high ranking priests, as they did say they'd come back with better, but she didn't realize a piece had broken off with her swidt defense of those morons she had to make. Quickly she had dashed right for the portal as her yellowish-golden hues spotted it, strangely she was surprised that she was exceedingly happy to see those pretty blue colors. "What...the hell...am I th-thinking..?" She scolded herself quietly, before she dashed through and shouted for Dartz, but she knew it would catch his attention enough. She finally glared up at him as she gave a low grow "Well jeez sorry for being not as quiet as a dâmn bloody fucking mouse when something you've nevee seen, might actually be able to fucking kill you!" She snarled back at him as she let her head fall a bit as she watched him step around her and she would crawl in futher quickly as out felt like it was getting worse. Her left hand came across to her right. Setting her bag down in a near by corner she would move in front of it "Stay hidden" she quietly told Trip. But there went another deeper burning sensation "Ahh I DIDN'T BRING SHIT IN HERE! I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT FUCKING THING IS TALKING ABOUT! BUT MY DAMN SIDE IS BURNING OFF!!!" She would yell out a dark warning growl to give notice she was close to snapping if he keeps accusing her of anything! He was the one that got her here in the first place! as her right hand seemed to glow red visable aura around it and a giant claw manifested itself from her.It seemed to want to rip her innards out. "IT BURNS!" Came a very dark cold low growl, things on shelves begin to shake in the warehouse , a few falling and crashing, some things breaking somethings not. She didn't care to know half of these things were, they were all useless junk to her, it was so easily broken, or would rot and such; it held no value to her, the only reason she liked money. Due to more of the food aspect of things, though the meat never tasted that fresh much of anything. Very human handled food, she was now forced to endure eating. Though found she adored chocolate, that was her favorite, most of those she even horded from Trip lately and shared what she wanted of them. Though she was trying not to the desire to rip it out, was becoming more and more instinctual. Soon her black daily fluffy tail seemed to turn from blackish grey, to a tail that seemed to be flaming dark black fire.It lifted and waved about as she switch hands allowing her left hand claws grow out she would start to tear at her own flesh. The only thing on her mind was getting this horrible extremely painful thing out of her! Whatever was burning her.

  31. RAHbit Trip seemed to be in for one heck of a ride. He didn’t like being bounced around like that, but what could he do? Teleporting out of there was still an option, but that’d mean having to find this place again. He didn’t like the dark man who ran this warehouse and Ebony had told him to keep out of sight of him. It was hard to, especially with all the things to play with on the shelves. So far, he hadn’t stolen anything, which was a miracle in itself. He was learning, plus the man seemed to be very sharp eyed when it came to his things. Only once since his stay did the fuzzball almost get caught. Having moved something on one of the shelves, it was noticed. Plus, he liked Ebony and didn’t want anything bad to happen to her, but his fight or flight mode was giving poor Trip the runaround. So for now he remained hidden in the bag until his courage kicked in. Which by the scary voices and the yelling, wasn’t going to happen any time soon. Rabbit had no qualms with walking into the portal and entering the warehouse. He was pursuing the woman as if he were after prey and had finally caught up to it. The robot had his flaws, one of which was not being gentle with those who were healthy or ill. All were treated about the same once his metal hands got on them. Being the first of his line did come with its…quirks. Dartz was unsure of this being, though was already planning something. Rather than wonder how dangerous it could be, it was all about profit. Surely someone out there would want this thing. He also wasn’t that careless and would keep on alert. So far it wanted Ebony and had identified something he missed. Dartz remembered healing her when they first met, and it happened to be that side… It wasn’t like he cared, so long as she stopped bleeding on his floor. Dartz didn’t reply beyond rolling his eyes when Ebony snapped back at him. She had a point, but it still ticked him off to be disturbed. She had the whole town, Hell, even the whole forest to have ran into to hide from this thing. Yet, she came HERE of all places. If she went down, was she taking everything with her? The warehouse contained items that could never be replaced, and she was going to risk it ALL. It was when she started yelling again that he snapped. “<i>STOP SHOUTIN!</i>” Clearly he didn’t care that she was in pain. He cared more however, that she was breaking his merchandise! “<i>THE HELL EBONY!</i>” This wasn’t going to do, not in the least! She was tearing at herself, which meant bodily damage, blood on the floor and well destroying his things! He’d snap is fingers, causing various smaller portals to pop up. They would encase her arms and legs, followed by one appearing above her head. They would lead to nowhere, causing complete and utter darkness for the half breed. To those in the warehouse, she’d just appear as a floating torso. This…confused Rabbit a moment. The robot was aware of the damage done to her would kill her, yet she lived. He was quietly staring before Dartz turned to him. “<i>Complied!</i>” He snapped. A whirling sound came from the robot as he was getting his medical gear ready. Unfortunately there wasn’t anything to numb the area where he needed to cut…This however didn’t concern the machine as he took a step forward and the blade popped out of his hand. Dartz would risk touching Rabbit and stopping him. “<i>I’ll deal with this.</i>” His mistake for missing the blade tip, but also giving Ebony a ‘small punishment’ for making a mess of his things. The dealer brought his hand to Ebony’s side and started to guess as to where the blade was. “<i>Up higher.</i>” Rabbit guided. Once Dartz had his hand on the right place, the robot nodded. This was going to be disgusting… The dealer crinkled his nose before snorting and snapping his fingers again. A hand sized portal appeared on Ebony’s side and he just reached in to try and pluck the blade tip out of her.

  33. Ebony Crow (@Dartz) Ebony had been out for a little bit, it had finally snowed enough for it to stick to the ground, and she was thrilled as she had gotten a lovely present for her and Dartz to share. Yes, some might call her childish for it, but Dartz was ALWAYS inside just working away, and not really enjoying life, which made her feel depressed in of itself. So she bought a sled with her hard earned money, since she decided to help on occasion when it was mostly needed, but still didn't care for the work. Mostly it was taking the animals or people disguised as animals that started to get to her, why he did it aside from the stupid money was beyond her. Often times she wondered if he would like it if that had been done to him, but she didn't feel like ruining the day with that argument again. She hadn't know that someone had been following her in the least bit, because they were so good at hiding themselves right under her nose, otherwise she may have shredded them to pieces. They were watching the both of them, but they waited right outside hiddened in a shadow of a tree seeing Ebony go right on through the portal, it was odd to see that Dartz would allow her to go and come as she pleased. A bright smile crossed her face as she set the sled down against the wall gently and hurried to Dartz office, of course not bothering to knock to see if he was busy, as that man's always busy, so she saw no point. There she quickly bound to his desk and hopped right on up onto it and took the phone "aplogize he'll have to call you back later tonight, something urgent has come up, but rest assured he will be quite thrilled to accept your offer" she mused on the phone then hung it up. "Now don't start getting all grumpy and pissy, at least this time I told them you'd accept the offer, besides I brought you something home, I'm sure you'll enjoy it" she told him fairly quickly as a bright smile crossed her face, with a twinkle of mischievousness glint in her eyes. She was up to something, though not in a negative way, she simply thought he needed to learn to enjoy life instead of just always breaking his back to work, besides it wasn't like he didn't have plenty of money he can take a day off work every now and again.
  34.
  35. Dartz Dartz had thought numerous times to shut the hound outside just to have peace and quiet. He liked the silence unless he chose to put on some music. The Dealer was a solo man through and through, mostly due to his trust issues. The robot he had recently obtained may be the only thing he didn't have to worry about. Extra security for the warehouse didn't hurt and the bot didn't seem to have much personality or the like. THAT he could accept besides the thunderous footfalls when it walked. Oh well, it wasn't as bad as Ebony's whining and bugging him when she was bored. That's how he saw it, not that she was trying to get him to have a life outside work. This was his element, ever since he could remember. Work and keeping busy while the world passed him by. He was no better than the robot, give or take having SOME hobbies. Reading and music was just to name a few. The first being more due for research what he was transporting next. Had he blocked Ebony from coming in, she'd figure out a way to get around it. Tricks only went so far and...Well she was starting to pull her weight a bit. Dartz would never admit it aloud, but he was...ok with the company. He was currently in his regular form within his second story office. The Dealer's feet were propped on his desk as he spoke to a client on the phone. The price for some fuzzy thing was being discussed and he listened carefully to the voice on the line. Too busy concentrating on whether or not the woman was lying, he didn't notice Ebony until she came through the door. He just had enough time to drop his feet and look surprised as she was suddenly THERE and swiped the phone from him. His white pupils were wide at first then narrowed as the gray creature glared at her. It happened so fast, that by the time he swiped for the phone it was all over and done. "<I>I'm already fucking there!</i>" He snapped as he rose to his feet. All it took was a snap of his fingers and she'd be trapped between portals. It seemed to be the best punishment without KILLING her that he could think of. Let her spin for a few hours and send her off. His anger was halted for a moment as curiosity snuck its way in. "<i>By their God, what did you bring THIS time?</I>" He was aware of the robot that followed her in there, Trip was still kept secret for now, so what unwanted guest was it now? He'd walk around the desk to the window and peer out into the vast Warehouse. He couldn't see what exactly she brought, but of course he thought it was another living thing. As he searched, he'd point at her. "<i>Don't think you're out of trouble for barging in here.</I>"

  37. Ebony Crow (Possible incoming)
  38. Ebony was fully aware of her ability to be a royal pain in the ass, he knew that from the beginning, acording to his own words, so keeping her was his own dâmn fault. He could of just simply let her go, but he didn't, which made her wonder why when he really had absolutely nothing to gain by keeping her around, other than a bit of labor. She thought she was doing a pretty good job at it too, and only one accident occurred while she was, but that was soon fixed right on up and brought the birdy beasty thing with her, whatever he called it she couldn't really remember. That was the thing, she really had no education growing up and only picked up on things that were important, mostly for self survival of the things she had to face and go through, at least until Dartz just had to scoop her up into that damn portal. She shivered a bit, she still hated those things with a passion, as it was the only thing she was unable to escape from. Anything and anyone else she always managed to wiggle herself free from, but Dartz. Maybe it was a bit of intrigue and interest in the fact he'd been the only one and will ever be the only one who could possibly do that to her. At this point though Ebony really didn't mean any harm to the guy, with time going buy, she was strangely becoming fun of the kill joyed man, who desperately needed someone to have fun with, or at least not act like a robot. So she decided a sled would be a good idea to bring home, it wasn't alive of course, so she would quickly make her way there, to that boring office of his. It really needed some type of color, just grey, it was boring and maybe one day she may paint it a different color. But she promptly and swidtly got his attention, messing with his work always tended to do that, she found it amusing most days unless it was serious trouble than the portals weren't that exciting. When he snapped at her she would tilt her head to look up at him, her eyes and aura and just sense about screamed that she was innocent of any true wrong doing "your always grumpy and pissy, but that is besides the point..." She told him with a slight pout against her lips. Though she knew the allure of a gift would get the anger to be at bay for a while at least, as she dangled her legs off his desk swinging them lightly and rolling her eyes a bit as he got up to look out at the windows "hey it's not my fault that robot wanted to follow me back, that was not even my fault" she told him honestly. Because it wasn't, she was minding her own damn business at that, and he just had to want to remove that stupid blade from her. She would hop off the desk "it's not a living thing this time, but something to have an enjoyable time with" she told him as she shifted towards him and she pouted at him deeply."How can I be in trouble when you still never come out when I do knock?" She asked with a tone that edged on whining. Grabbing his arm lightly she would tug on him "come on it's downstairs, and now that you have time to have fun, we're going outside to enjoy it, besides you can punish me later" she mused, as she tugged him along. She was thrilled and renewed with excitement, she loved the idea of finally having someone to have fun with, even if he was practically a shut in.
  39.
  40. Dartz If he didn't have so much stuff to search through, he may have spotted the sled much faster. Instead it was passed over many times until he suspected Ebony was toying with him. Or perhaps...She was hiding whatever it was. Which meant he'd be dragged out of the office in order to see it. What was out of the ordinary? What was new that he hadn't collected? Should he see it, he wouldn't need to leave. Honestly he could say that whatever it was, he wasn't interested and would dismiss her. "<i>With good reason.</i>" Though he wouldn't elaborate on WHAT. There were multiple excuses he could use, but kept it at that. He'd chew on the inside of his lip some when she spoke of the robot. It wasn't her fault it followed her here...So was she blaming HIM?! Had she gone somewhere else besides the warehouse it wouldn't have been here! Then again, she'd use the excuse of Dartz not being thorough when he healed her. How could he have missed that shard? Easily, because he didn't CARE that much about her. So long as she wasn't bleeding on the floor or marred, she was fine. Any sort of damage after purchase wasn't his responsibility. If that was the case he'd be checking every single thing that passed through transport, which took time. Time he was sure he didn't have to waste. It was go go go besides sleep and when he deemed otherwise. "<i>At least it's useful.</i>" He commented about the robot. Anyone trying to break in had a whole new level of surprises to go through. As she hinted on the item in question, he wasn't looking any more thrilled about it. What he enjoyed was making money. And if she found it enjoyable, it was something he was less interested in. Still that nagging curiosity pegged him just as much as her trying to guide him from the office. "<i>You'd think that was the universal sign of 'I'm busy'.</I>" Not answering the door meant he didn't want company. His office was one of the only private places he had and even that was getting impeded on. He drew the line when it comes to the bathroom. If she so much as stands by the door when he's occupied... The tug derailed the mental threat and he'd pull his arm away. "<i>Get goin then, let's get this suspense over with.</I>"
  41.
  42. Ebony Crow She of course wasn't one to toy with people, she could be quite direct when she needed to be, and often times when it came to her surprises they weren't things she'd ever you about. It was a serious affair in her opinion, one didn't go out of their way to fix a surprise if they didn't want to do it for a good hearted reason, this was from obseeving others a few times. But then again there were those damn demon hunters always about, so it also pointed at while some people can be trusted and others are better of just plain dead. So she had grown a fondness of Dartz, though at times it took and act of god just to get him moving to do anything she wanted to try with him. Though she raised an eyebrow at him as she heard his words "well, there has been plenty of enough time, you and I both know they aren't going to pay you an ounce of money you asked for, and yet even knowing that you still keep me here" she knew how much of a pain she could truly be and that wasn't easy to always deal with. Then again this has been the longest she's also been around anyone for a decent length of time. Had already gotten used to staying dressed, of course she still quite understand why. "I wonder why is that it could be?" She posed more of a question of forcing him to think about that. Since that firdt night and hearing that voice on the other end of the line, she knew this and you could tell my his tone he knew. As far as that robot goes, she stays as far away from that thing still, it freaks her out and just isn't natural, how Dartz decided to keep it was beyond her shaking her head at that thought a bit. "Useful? It's just plain creepy...useful or not..." She shook her head as that thing frightened her and tried to wanna open her up! Forget that she'd rather do it herself, she tried to at least. Dartz had to have some type of concern for her, otherwise he never would of went in to retrieve, which was really creepy too; just plain felt very strange. Till she was excited she really wanted to take him sledding, and had a feeling if he got past the first few times he'd enjoy it, she tested it out first and made sure it truly would be fun. She would lightly roll her eyes at him "well maybe if you actually answered from time to time, you might actually see a change, besides, I do so think that's the best way to get your attention~" she mused out with a giggle. She knew how to piss him off, judt not follow his rules, got him out of the office enough times, so it worked, at least it wasn't as bad as the first time. Shaking her head a bit. "But you have to come downstairs" she told him as she tugged on him once more for good measure he needed to come with her to get it. So downstairs she went and bounding with happiness over to a lovey long black slead "it's called a sled, that's what the lady told me" she smiled at him brightly. "So come on let's go outside and enjoy it" she told him "I know you'll like it, plus if you come have fun with me I'll be super quiet all night so you can catch up on work" she offered in return hoping he would take it. And the phone in his office hadn't rung once the entire time she had been talking about the sled and it wouldn't she unplugged the phone line while he wasn't looking. He needs to take a break from constantly being busy and this was a perfect day to do so.
  43.
  44. Dartz "<i>Guess I still hold a candle to it.</I>" He shrugs. "<i>But I suppose I'll just tip you back where you came from. Hopefully those hunters aren't still lurkin about.</I>" He was pretty sure she could hold her own, seeing Ebony has lasted this long. He knew this wasn't some tact to return her home, knowing that she was telling the truth. She was just another burden to take care of and PAY regardless of how small it was. "<i>If you stay in the trade long enough, that robot is far from creepy.</I>" He had seen worse creatures. Also given his own appearance, though dashing as he thought he was, Dartz would fall in the 'creepy' category as well. "<I>Extra security I don't need, but just in case someone is dumb enough to try and break in here.</I>" Another shrug. His steps would slow after she spoke again, his dark eyes narrowed as he contemplated chancing leaving her outside. He had plenty of ways to get food and drink without leaving the warehouse. That way it was guaranteed peace and quiet. If she kept pushing him though, he may just send her packing without a moment's notice. She hated being trapped in the portals and this last trapping would be just that. Let the hunters deal with her or vice versa, then he'd be done. What little stopped him though, was if life would truly go back to normal. Having this hound around had changed his routine, maybe for the tiniest better...Still he had the robot to keep him company if he wanted something to talk to. Once they went downstairs and he saw...it...His upper lip curled up a bit, as if he was wrinkling his nose. An annoyed snort came from him before he crossed his arms. "<i>THAT was the surprise?</I>" He shook his head. What little interest Dartz had was now gone. How did she know he'd like it? That... thing wasn't even worth the wood it was made of...Or whatever it was made of. Still, the promise of staying quiet... "<I>The night's half done. All day tomorrow, then I'll think about it.</I>" Which he was already. Any amount of silence really would work, but on his terms. He'd step away from her and look at something on a wall that just appeared. A sharp intake of air before he spoke. "<i>It's TEN outside! Are you mad?!</I>" Still, silence...Another shake of his head. "<i>Of course you are.</I>" He'd go quiet again before a few snaps of his fingers. A thicker jacket falls from the air and he catches it. Gloves in the pockets and boots slide next to his feet. Her outfit however falls all in one bundle, attempting to hit her. Dartz was never nice when it came to getting Ebony dressed. "<i>Hurry up.</I>" He already had his jacket on and was changing his shoes.

  46. Ebony Crow (Crawls onto Dartz back; and incoming post)
  47. "Why? In actual hopes a liar will turn out to be truthful for a change?" Ebony asked him with a raised eyebrow. She knew even he wouldn't be that naive to think that way, before rolling her eyes a bit "it's been over two weeks I'm quite sure they've moved on by now, they never spend more than two or three days at most looking for me" she told him simply with a shrug. Of course she could handle herself when it came to the hunters and keeping herself from being caught by them, but she still had this huge naive spot on humans and their things and then like on what items were called. One would have to wonder on the same side how she manages to survive so long without help or anyone taking her in their wing so to speak. Did she really wanna go home? Where ever that was at this point, she had the freedom to still come and go as she pleased here, just add a few extra things about as far as rules, most of them truly weren't that unreasonable, save for Dartz over working himself. "All week, I've handled just about anything you wanted me to, that is just pure unnatural...creepy...and if men can or are willing to make such uh, creatures, it's weird and creepy.." She shook her head. Even to her Dartz was like extra mild compared to Rabbit, well all but his determination to be such a prick sometimes and say she's in trouble any chance he got, she wondered if he was slightly a Sadist at heart. "Who knows, I have a feeling it'll be found out soon enough on it's own" she mused a bit as she thought about it, seeing as it's been far to long from thos buyers she was sure they were planning something. She hadn't a clue they were already watching her and Dartz as it was. Even though she knew some days she maybe pushing her luck a bit more than others, for the most part she's been fairly good, and only getting whiny when it came to getting and needing more food. Mail, cuz why not bring in the mail when she walked past the box, but she also knew that even the moments she did everything right he wouldn't even acknowledge her, but if she was just barely bad/mischievous, that's the moments she gain his attention. But while he contemplated returning her, she also knew there wasn't a presence out there like hers, lively, interesting, yes to a point troublemaking and fun, most of all she enjoyed fun and getting Dartz to have fun. Sure, he could just talk to Rabbit, but at the end of the day it was just a machine and would have no true emotion or thought process on it's own aside from plain facts. Of course she'd been wise enough to know when to stop pushing him, plus it had been a good week since she's really bothered him like this. Though she was thrilled with showing him the sled and seen his reaction to it caused her to pout at him a bit "yes this is part of the surprise, but you've not even given it a chance to have a good time" she told him as she frowned a bit. Rememebering why she didn't infact bother with trying to surprise him, he always found something wrong with what she wanted to do with him. She just really thought once he gave it a few good goes on the wooden plastic sled he would have tones of fun, but she got him when she promised quiet for him and she knew that. "All day?" She asked with a bit of a poutful sigh, but nodded her head a bit "fine, all day then, but you gotta have fun with it, and make hot coco for me again" she would smile and giggle. One to many accidental burn downs of the kitchen in the warehouse trying to make coco was more than enough to get herself banned from it.Though she looked at him confused "ten outside? What do you mean?" She asked him completely clueless on how human temperature reading worked. "I mean I guess I'd have to be a little to live so long right?" She asked him as a just plain clueless look was spread across her face. "I went out earlier just fine, why is it different now?" She was still only dressed in that newer dress she had stolen, and he had yet to notice that either. Just as usual, the pile of clothes hit her and she was burried under them, wiggling her head out as she had a boot atop her head like a hat. "What's all this?" She asked him as she looked at the clothes, and failing to attempt to get the boot on over ger head. Had he really forgoteen she doesn't know much about clothes, it's not like he taking time to put her in school or any lessons of the sort. But she looked incredibly adorable with her innocent bliss of not knowing clothes.Finding a scarf though that was extra soft in the pile she would rub it against her cheek "oh this is so soft, I wanna keep this piece" she told him as she was still figuring out the rest. They were going to be there for a couple of hours if he didn't want to help her get dressed.

  49. Dartz "You REALLY want me to toss you back home huh?" As she was continuing on and dashing that...'candle' to pieces, he was leaning more and more into 'fuckit'. He should have done this a long time ago. Maybe the next excuse he'd use was he's been too busy to deal with her. Now that she'd forced him into taking a break, it gave him time to dwell on things. Weigh the pros and cons of actually having her HERE. She was in her own way...Helpful...He already worked so much keeping things controlled and organized...With her help it was kept even more streamline, shaving a few seconds off deliveries or when something decided it needed to veer off track. The accident from before could have gone far worse if Ebony hadn't tracked the creature down. Oh sure the robot could have taken on the task, but it did not have tact because warn and destroying stuff when it didn't comply. Somehow he'd have to figure out how to get past that. The question of 'Where does Alice lie?' was a complicated one. He had no answer, which meant he couldn't reprogram the metal man. He'd have to do some reading of this 'Wonderland' place in order to find it, maybe. For now, he decided she'd stick around a bit longer. The excuse of being too busy would always be at play to notice anything about her. If she had drawn his attention to the dress, he might have taken notice...MIGHT. So long as Ebony was dressed, why complain? He'd get his boots on and was ready to end this madness. Go outside in the cold, sled, come back inside... "Fine fine." He waved his hand dismissively about the coco. There was a high chance he'd make some to warm HIMSELF up before thinking about her. Then again, with nearly burning down the kitchen, he really didn't want to go through that hassle again. Dartz still needed to have it fixed up again. When he looked at her again, he'd see she hadn't gotten far. Here she is, bugging him about going out and she's just sitting there with a boot on her head...A boot she was...Trying to wear as a hat? "For their God's sake woman!" He shook his head and approached. "Are you that daft?" He was a prime example of how things were supposed to be worn. A pet and a child, that's what he was dealing with. "Yes yes all of it is yours." He had so many extra clothes in storage she'd never have to go shopping. Whether or not the outfits were in 'style' though was the only downfall. He'd pluck the boot from her and pulled the other closer. "Foot." He commanded and moved his fingers in that 'hand it over' gesture. Noticing that he forgot the socks, another finger snap and a small portal popped a pair in his palm. "Watch." Sock, boot, and he'd leave the other one for her to do. Next would be some poofy pants to keep the snow and cold out. "Tuck your dress into these when you put them on." He wasn't going to dress her any further, but adjust things if he had to. A sweater was put over her next and he'd let her tug it down before he grabbed a poofy jacket to zip her up in. Last was the scarf about her neck and an actual beanie type hat tugged onto her head. All that was missing was earmuffs and gloves. The latter were soon produced in mitten form, but had the option of being folded back and her fingers allowed freedom. "There. Now let's get this done." The portal to the outside popped open and he could feel the gust of cold enter the warehouse. Dartz would shiver a bit, but ignored it as he was ready to go.

  52. "I make home where ever I wish it to be so, your still welcome to do as you please, it's not like I can't take care of myself, been doing so a lot longer than it took for you to actually capture me" she was just being honest with him. Since it seemed for as blunt as he was towards her, he seemed to take the honest truth a bit harder than she ever did, perhaps it was their differance of life upbringing? Who knows, and she didn't want to pretend to. Of course the girl was useful, she had her own way of doing things that tended to shave time off, it was important to him right? So then why try to delay things any further and instead improve upon them to help him, it's what he wanted in the first place right? She even managed to bring the creature back home without any damage or harm, aside from a few missing feathers it was in perfect condition. She knew he was such a workaholic, it was like a freaking drug, and that this was the perfect time to get him to take a break and enjoy some fresh air with her. But none the less she still had her own quirky faults, ones that mostly she couldn't help, she did love hot coco though it was an amazing treat even though she felt bad about destorying the kitchen, besides it was his fault. He was entirely to busy to help or teach her how to do it, so she attempted on her own. Thus was the end result of that, she was just glad that he hadn't noticed the different dress as she didn't feel like explaining to him WHERE/HOW she got it. She was sure that was something that would be accompanied with their own sets of punishments, which was a tad hypocritical on his part when he stole for a living. "Yay! Hot chocolate" she beamed happily as that was one of the best parts of the day. Though as she was trying to get dressed in the new clothes he had just dropped on her, she couldn't help it."Well, I'm sorry you've so easily forgotten that unlike most others, I raised myself, and clothing and humany things aren't exactly apart of my know how" she told him with a bit of a pout. She wasn't a pet nor a child, though at times actions indicated otherwise; she just didn't know, so how could one fault her for that? She though would smile at them all being hers, most of them were very soft feeling and she liked them alot especially the scarfy thing. She didn't even care about style, let alone of what that meant, but once he was ready to help her she would obediently offer over her foot, and tilted her head as she watched him put the sock warm thing on her foot. Then the boot, okay so that's where those are supposed to go, so she softly did the other one the same way that Dartz showed her how to. But at the pants she was more confused, but decided to give them a go anyways, as it seemed to make him less grumpy when she started to catch onto things. She would wiggle her legs into the pants and struggled a bit to get them over the boots, but finally managed it before pulling them up over her dress. A bit crooked with her puffy pants on, but then came the sweater and plop her head right through and arms as she would softly tug it down. Then came the jacket and the scarf, she was feeling like she might over heat in the clothing, her own body temperature was usually pretty high and this only made it climb. Then the mittens and earmuffs, and she looked like the most adorable puffy little ball with warm rosy cheeks. "Thank you Dartz!" She beamed happily as she grabbed up the sled and would smell the cool air and bound right out the portal happily. The coolness seemed to just not bother her at all. She was happy as she was looking for them the perfect spot to sled and it was a not to large or small hill near by and she giggled a bit as she bounded over to it. "I think this will be perfect!" She told him as her yellowish-golden hues seemed to light up at the thought. But on the same hand they were now both being watched, and noticed they both were out in the open and so secretly and without raising their alarm men began to be around hidden from either sight or smell.

  54. Dartz More kindle to the 'toss her back' fire. Indeed she had somehow survived this long so there wasn't any doubt she could continue on. Later...One thing at a time, for this was a different situation than work. Control of his portals and the like was secondary to breathing. He'd done it for so long there wasn't any noticeable stress to it. Thinking on what to do about Ebony, now THAT was causing a headache. One thing at a time. Dartz would focus on this current event and in the silence he would gain. Think or work. It all depends on that moment. He'd hesitate as he looked at the weather and watched as Ebony just bound out there like it was nothing. As she did so, there was a small smile that crossed his face. She looked like a penguin, a multicolored one at that. So many layers of warmth that he should have covered up in too. Except he didn't want to look ridiculous. No, he wanted to go out appearing like a gentleman, doing this thing and going back to the warehouse. Short and he'd get an entire day of peace from Ebony. He kept that in mind then paused when he heard her speak. She...Thanked him? Sure she had probably said it multiple times and he brushed it off. Mainly because it was giving her her pay. But this...Even when he made her look like a living marshmallow, she still thanked him. He wouldn't respond back, but instead he stepped out and took a sharp breath. Good GOD it was cold! His glamour activated as soon as he left the portal and a gray haired man stood in the snow. He'd shiver then get this determined look on his face. Quicker the better. The portal closed behind him and he'd trudge on through. It was so cold, much colder than he anticipated. He could feel the frozen snow crunching under foot. His gaze went off to her bouncing form and he shook his head. Too excited to notice the weather, it made sense. The dealer just followed along until they got to their destination. Despite how chilly it was, he did get to enjoy the scenery. It wasn't often he stopped and looked at nature, unless it was passing through the Warehouse. This however wouldn't change his views overnight, it would take time for him to appreciate things more. "Perfect spot for...what?" Came his more human voice. He was oblivious to them being spied on, but was feeling...something. It may have been the silence of the surrounding area besides their own feet. It may be he was too use to the bustle of work that he'd forgotten what silence was really like.
  55.
  56. Ebony Crow They watched the young woman bound right on out of the warehouse, and a man following her, that had to be Dartz the one refusing to give her up, they would both pay soon enough. They just had to get rid of Dartz first before they could deal with Ebony and take her as they wanted to, mostly to skin the woman alive. But still unaware of anyone watching them she was happily going about with the sled in her mitten covered hands, beyond warm and tosty she couldn't help it. In fact it was appreciated quite a bit that Dartz had bundled her up and each time she said she always meant it, even if she did look like a puffy penguin or marshmallow, she was warm and excited. She wanted to spend as much time as he would allow her to with him having some fun, so yes she maybe a bit childish, but he needed fun in his life amd she was tired of not beimg able to do anything out in the winter months. She was so thrilled that she had went to the store that morning and purchased the sled for them to play with. Once she reached the top of the hill she was so happy with the pretty view of the town and the lovely forest near by and the lakes they seemed to just sparkle like diamonds, was she falling in love with this place? Yes to an extent, even if he kicked her out eventually, she would love to still stay in the area, for the most part it was quiet and not to much going on. Though the cold night air chapped against her cheeks and nose making them much more rosier than they already were, but she would giggle and smile brightly at him. "To play with the sled silly, it's a fun toy, and plus I didn't buy it so it could just sit around and not be used, it's for our night of fun" he explained to him as she sat it down. Then quickly getting into it, feet on either side so it wouldn't start sliding without Dartz on it."Well come on then, get on" she told him with a bright smile as she knew it wouldn't ever be a change in him over night, but her plan was to try to get him out at least once a week to simply enjoy life. It was to short to not spend money one made, or just sit around all cooped up working! "Ready?" She asked as she waited until he was seated before letting her feet go and down they'd go, and all that was heard from her was excited giggling laughter.
  57.
  58. Dartz He should have been paying closer attention instead of watching her. Maybe there would have been a chance that he'd KNOW something was wrong. Then again it was very cold out and he doubted any sane fauna would be wandering about. Even crickets knew their limit, right? So he didn't read too much into it. Instead he crossed his arms when Ebony explained the rest. Obviously he's never gone sledding before. This kind of weather warranted being snug indoors with a book or in his case letting the world go by. If for any reason he'd go out, it'd be to stretch his legs a bit then right back inside. This was indeed a whole new venue. When she sat it down then got on it, he began to put two and two together. "I'm NOT gettin on that thing." As much as he was adamant about his refusal, he reminded himself the deal made. Silence, all day tomorrow, just to try this out. He wasn't happy, but soon reluctantly got on. He'd mimic Ebony's position as best he could before looking around. This was so stupid...He thought to himself then spoke aloud. "Yeah." He was...So NOT ready. Once the sled tipped and down they went, Dartz didn't get far. He managed to keep his balance somewhat before falling backwards into the snow. The chill and iciness blasted into unguarded crevices of his clothing and sent a jolt through his whole frame. Trying to get any sort of purchase to right himself wasn't working either. He'd tumble, slide and sputter until he was fully caked in white powder and FINALLY stopped. "That's it I'm DONE!" He shouted and tried to stand up, only to lose his footing and flump into the snow again.
  59.
  60. Ebony Crow They kept waiting for a perfect moment hiddened quietly behind the trees, as still and quiet as the night air, and they wanted to see what those two were doing, Sleding really? Ebony hadn't really much experience in sledding herself, only took it twice to make sure it would work and be fun, he just needed to get out his comfort zone. So once she was settles right on the sled she thought it would be nice to try something different, sure it was cold out there, but not once was she shivering, she was used to harsh winters, often times got caught in a blizzard out and about. Seemed to have build up a good tolerance to it, though she wondered abiut Dartz, he did seem that cold, or at least he wasn't exactly showing it. "Come on Dartz, just live a little, and hold on tight" she told him, in her mind it was fair warning. Before sweeping down the medium sized hill and she was giggling and enjoying it, but instantly felt lighter about half way down the hill and looked back only to see Dartz tumbling down the hill trying to stifle a laugh cuz she realized he didn't hang on to her. It was quite funny from her point of view, but reaching the bottom of the hill first standing to her feet as Dartz finally madr his way down to the bottom looking like a very dusted snow person, she found it to be quite a good look for him, but she was startled a bit at his retaliation at it and giggled a bit as he fell down. "You've got to learn to let go of your inhibitions to try something new, and laugh at yourself when it fails the first few times, then eventually you'll get it, real world experiences at failing occasionally" she told him softly as she approched him. "If you want to go in you can..." She told him as she felt tears stinging her eyes, trying to blink them away as she took off her puffy jacket and put it over him. That thing would feel like it was it's own furnace going that's how hot Ebony was getting. Then she softly took the scarf off and wrapped it around his neck, before softly grabbing the sled and slowly making her way back up the hill to sit down and sulk slightly, she'd just stay out side if he wanted peace from start now. Why does she feel so disappoint then? Stupid to think possibly he'd actually do something with her, the thoughts of leaving soon enough were growing stronger. Because that's right she was just an animal, how else would anyone ever see her, there the tears started to roll, but dropping her head so as to try and hide this fact.

  63. Dartz Dartz was SO DONE. He had refused to hold onto Ebony when they started down the hill and end result was failure. Total and epic failure along with embarrassment that thankfully didn't show in his glamour. He was pissed, grumpy and pissed, but that was nothing new. It was something she saw often and it worked well to mask how he truly felt. The Dealer wasn't one to have fun like this. All of it was childish to him and a waste of time. He tried, didn't like it, so he held up his end of the deal. That was all he wanted right? Exploiting loophole in this plan of hers. The moment only lasted a few minutes and she was to be quiet and out of the way all day. He continued to shake and brush himself off. It was too late to get rid of the snow that melted against his skin. "Never gonna happen." It wasn't much of a response to those words, but he thought they were well enough. Dartz hated failure and this should have spurred him into trying again. Second attempts on anything depended on the situation. This was far from a second attempt. It was cold, wet and he just wanted to go back inside and brood in the office. Thankfully Ebony was the only witness to this towel throwing, or so he thought. "I do." Came the short answer as he brushed himself off again. His gray gaze happened to catch the shimmer in her eyes. That however, wasn't some mischievous or sassy answer brewing. No, it was sadness and it cascaded over her form. Not that he cared one bit. "What..." He started before seeing what she was doing. Removing her jacket and putting it over him. Suspicion was the instant expression at first, but it melted into confusion and being unsure. His own body stole the heat from the fabric and then more was added. Guess he didn't need to bother with her freezing out here. Bother, not worry...For he didn't worry about her. He'd turn a bit and watched as she trudged/sulked back up the hill. He'd soon follow, since home was basically that direction. Dartz was silent for the most part in his trek, quietly scooping a handful of snow as he went along. "Stop sulking." Was the only warning she got before he palmed the snow up against her neck/hair area. He'd try to take the sled from her and pull it up himself. "I don't fail." Yes...Yes he does, but let's not poke him and change the current mood.

  65. Ebony Crow (Possible incoming~)
  66. Wow, that failed so bad, she wasn't much of a fan of failing either, but if you never fail at anything; how can learn something new at all, of course most humans learn this as they grow up. Though Dartz isn't human, she would figured he'd at least learn about that as he grew up as well, or maybe it didn't work that way. They never exactly had a discussion about what he was exactly before, so assuming could of been a slight overreach on her end of things. Of course, she knew she ran the risk of getting upset over the thing, so she tried not to show the disappointment as much, though it still hurt, she couldn't exactly figure out why; after all he was just a big rude asshat anyways. "Then you can never learn anything new" she told him her voice just simply calm, quiet as the night air, and in an odd way, seems a bit if wisdom had snuck in there. Sure, human things, not really her thing, but about basic life lessons, that seemed to be the one that always stuck; then again she has had her fair shares of learning how-to deal with different situations. That all depended, and she seemed to figure that with how angry and grumpy and pissy he was all the time anger wasn't going to work. Of course this took nearly every once of her self control she had, she was sure the hell asking for a lot of her own self. She didn't say much else as what was there to say, she completely ruined the night, no point in arguing, just give him what he wanted and then maybe it would be a good idea to disappear, yes sounded good. Of courde there would be things that she missed, espiecally hot coco, unless she got a job doing something. After placing her coat around him and heading off up the hill, she continued to spiral and sulk. Her mind whirling with that constant thought of she was just a beast and that others were right, no one wants to keep a beast alive unless they get some benefit from it right? An it...that's it that's all she- thoughts were abruptly interrupted as she hadn't really been paying attention to what Dartz decided to do. Then there it was! Icy, cold fluffy wetness! Right up her neck amd into her hairline, soaking her rather rapidly. A squeal had left her lips at impact, cold didn't bother her, but that was like shaved ice placed directly on her neck. Loosing her grip on the sled as he tugged out away from her hands "liar!" She yelled back at him narrowing her eyes at him as she scooped up snow and formed it into a ball and pelted it right at his face as she giggled a bit "got you back~" she sang a bit as she gave a light smile. Though there still was lingering saddness in her eyes that hadn't quite gone yet, but she would do her beat to shove it away. Though eyes began to linger on the both of them much more heavily, just as Dartz would of gotten to the top of the hill. A whizzing sound caught Ebony's ears, with a swift motion having not been far behind him due to her feet running after him with her snow ball. She would pull him towards her turning them both around and turned her back facing the opposite direction. It sounded like a loud thud into a huge amount of layered clothing, the pain though was much more unpleasant. Blood was coating the sweater that Dartz had put on her and right down into the snow where her feet stood, there her yellowish-golden hues drifted down to look over the damage done. "Well...never been impahile before...so that's new.." She muttered out a bit with a dark twisted sick sense of humour a slight scoffing laugh came past her lips as she did so.
  67.
  68. Dartz Dartz could be playful...Or something akin to it. Most of the time he was serious though and wouldn't trade that for anything. It was who he is and didn't plan to change soon. Being 'mundane' also had it's quirks. It meant he could be unpredictable and no one would be the wiser. Case in point the snow. He could have walked by and knifed someone and they wouldn't have noticed. In truth he's only done that once or twice. Shooting someone had only been once since he hated messes and conflict. He was just there to do business and nothing more. It was always everyone else that made things more complicated. His deals were always the same with no hitches. Half down now for his services, the rest once the task was complete. He would make an effort in most cases to obtain the items wanted, but if it was too complicated...That was when he'd admit any sort of failure. Nothing was worth risking his hide for. Dartz had a pretty decent streak lately, save for the payment for the hound. That'd certainly be the first and LAST time he'd take someone's word. What the hell was he thinking?! Well the answer became a face full of snow! He sputtered and wiped his face before glaring at her. His playful mood dropped a few pegs and he dragged that damn sled behind him. He was oblivious to the sound and was suddenly pulled backwards. "GAH!" Well that was better than a few choice words... He was suddenly shielded by Ebony. "What the hell?!" It happened so quickly, he didn't even notice she'd been shot until the shaft came into view. His gray gaze instantly spotted it then darted off to the open woods. He knew they should have stayed inside! He'd snap is fingers and a blue shimmer came up. It was on one side at first before forming a circle around them. The two could see out and their attackers could see them as well. Trick was though, if they fired again, it'd shoot right back at them.
  69.
  70. Ebony Crow Ebony knew that there was no way that those people would ever really let Dartz away without having her for nothing, it seemed it was one of THOSE families again. Think they are entitled to everything without payment, or even just take whatever they wanted and just kill whoever got in their way. Somehow it wasn't that new to her, then again this was the kind of life she always dealt with at least until she started living with Dartz. It was so much more peaceful, calm and she could be just who she wanted to be, even if Dartz found it annoying at times with her constant childish behaviour. He seemed to be able to put up with it well enough, maybe she might change her mind and stay for a while longer. As she giggled and tossed the snow right back into his face, she would notice his happiness drop some "don't dish it if you can't take it~" she teased him a bit. But before anything else could be done, she moved quick enough as not to let him get hurt, though she was unsure of why she bothered exactly. After all it wasn't like he couldn't heal himself right? Oh well the damage was done, a hand would wrap and the back side of the shaft of the spearish arrow and swiftly yank it out, of course it hurt like hell when she did so. "A second later you might of lost more than you were barging for" she told him as her golden yellow hues began to glow an eire glow. Of course she was pissed off, these idiots were ruining her and Dartz night of snow fun and she wasn't having a bit of it. It was the first night he remotely agreed to doing something else besides working, he was a workaholic. Her fangs began to grow as a red aura was very present around her entire form, suddenly fifty men or so started to surround them, a crack of her neck as a redish claw seemed to engulf her left arm."Give up the mutt! You'll never make it out of here alive!" One man shouted out as they inched closer. "I told you, they won't easily let things go" she told Dartz as she shifted a bit listening to their steps get closer. "You all are foolish idiots" she commented in return, her ears and tail were already out, as her skin started to shift black. "Open up a portal behind them" she instructed Dartz, if he did so she would swiftly jump through, the real fun can begin, she was going to shred them all into tiny pieces.
  71.
  72. Dartz See, if he had stayed in the Warehouse, none of this would be happening. He’d be in his comfort zone, safe and WARM. Despite the layers of clothing, he still felt the chill trying to seep through. The snow to his glamoured face didn’t help either and quickly soured his mood further. Still, if this was going to get the childish woman off his back for a while…A day of pure silence and bliss, it was well worth it. If he could see her good intentions though, he may have appreciated the break. Work was something he always did, going well past the ‘holic’ part. Dartz had a system and if one little part of it goes wrong, the rest of it would surely follow. Maybe he could program Rabbit somehow to take care of thing. If he could ever get that access code right. The Dealer would worry about that later, seeing as there was a more serious predicament. His portals were up, acting as shields in case things were further fired at them. These attackers would get whatever they threw at them right back in their faces! None of these people meant a damn thing to him, so murder wasn’t above him at this point. He was simply protecting himself and his valuables. His gaze went to Ebony, the shaft she grasped then out into the open area. He counted at least fifty and smirked a bit. “Think they came prepared?” He didn’t have the least bit of worry or appreciation in his voice. She had chosen to protect him, it wasn’t like he made or asked her to do it. There may be his own way of ‘thank you’ later on once they got out of this mess. “Could just portal us out of here.” He suggested, but he could see how angry she was getting. The smirk soon turned into a bit of a smile. “But it looks like you want to have fun.” Dartz overheard the one man then Ebony’s words. To this he shrugged. “Not my fault they’re morons.” He had his stipulations and he never went back on his deals. Despite his business being shady, at least he was honest. He did glare at her for a moment when she told him what to do. It was more out of reaction, like getting lightly bumped and going ‘ow’. Just as it was there, the look was gone and he’d snap his fingers. As requested, the portal was up and behind them. These guys want their prize? Well, here she comes!
  73.
  74. Ebony Crow True this MAY have not happened, but they also wouldn't of gotten to have some kind of fun, for a change, it was something she wanted and needed at times, and he was the closes person to her in a long time. Then again she'd never actually been caught before, so it was slightly more intriguing to her had he just instead tried to attack her. Ebony though had never once hid any of her intentions from the man, but then again they both seemed to have a similar ability to tell when someone is lying or meaning something else completely. She couldn't really tell how many really were there at this point, but she could easily kill them all, she's killed many men before, this isn't anything new. She wished they'd get a better tactic when coming after her, this was old and very pointless, she would make sure that Dartz would send every single one of their heads back to where they came from.Over all Dartz did need to learn to take a break here and there, otherwise his mind would just become mush and a day of rest would keep him from the occasional cold too. At this point her mind needed to focus on what she was about to do to every single person they brought with them. It seemed they were told of Dartz portals, and one idiot had already tried and ended up impaling himself and everyone knew not to toss anymore weapons into them. The man was stupid in inching his group in closer to the two of them, of course Dartz could tend to keeping them at bay. But a sudden beastly urge swept over her, they ruined her new clothes Dartz gave her to play out in the snow with. She did really like the sweater, it was warm, and now it was stain with her precious blood and torn. A slight chuckle at Dartz words, as her golden-yellow hues "not even a thousands men would be good enough" a dark smirk crossed over her lips. There was that confidence, almost airing on the side of arrogance, but at the same time she knew she could back it up easily. She didn't expect much of anything from Dartz in return, for doing so. Maybe she was trying to return the earlier favor twice now. It didn't matter currently she was in a very dark mood, and wanted to send a loud and clear message, to these idiots. "They will keep coming, and I hate it when fun is ruin, it upsets me terribly; so now I will have fun with them" she chuckled a bit darkly, a different kind of evil coming out, one that was quite sadistic and cruel in and of itself. "No, but I warned you, always wise to dig a bit deeper~" she cooed and winked as she left, suddenly the screams of horror were everywhere behind them in opposite directions as she tore through men. Blood and heads just falling off left and right, just it was much to swift for their abilities to use their weapons. She also had the conversation of the trees and such in the shadows of the night to her advantage as well. The men then ended up dying and slashing at and spearing each other as she would slow occasionally and end up dead. A chuckle left her lips "Men! She's using the shadows as cover!" The leader shouted as he tried to use his light to find her only to see every single head just gone off the men's bodies "wha-what...th-the f-fuck, is-is this!!!" He yelled, and grabbed his sword "I'll kill you!!" He yelled. A ten foot black dog that stood taller than some of the trees around, hovered over him dark crimson red eyes, and a cross in the center of her head "To slow, I got your head too" a dark voice came from Ebony as she ripped his head clean off with one chomp, spraying blood everywhere, before spitting it out, she knew not to eat filth! She sat herself down in the snow, as she licked her paw and tried to rub away the blood on her snout, but it was useless she needed a bath. But she was now fully without clothes, she knew Dartz got all funny about that and couldn't understand why still, she thought she was fine without too, something she did like because how they felt, others weren't that great. Some how she had stacked all the head together all "62 of them, I'd like delivered back to their bosses please" " she told him as she continued to try and clean herself off. Though her voice remained dark and serious it seemed that Ebony was still there just fine, though much more dangerous in her current state if she wished it, and she was pretty lean, maybe a bit to lean for her size; that was Dartz fault, cheap ass, the thought of killing him crossed her mind for that, but it quickly went.

  76. Dartz Dartz would continue to keep his portals up as he was keeping his own ass safe. He could easily get away from the group and leave Ebony to her fate, if he wanted to. Instead, he would remain put, simply out of amusement. One of the men had tested his shields and got their spear thrown right back at them. The Dealer would wince with a chuckle at the sight. “Oops.” Was the only comment he made and looked at the others, just daring them to try something. Alas, nothing would come his way. Morons, but they got the point rather quickly. Besides, they had something bigger to attend to. Again, he had perfect opportunities to just leave. Instead, he would witness the onslaught and wished he had a readied bag of popcorn. He had seen many things pertaining to life and death. Portals that had malfunctioned at times and dirtied up his Warehouse. No one is born knowing their talent perfectly. His was more given than natural and no one was the wiser about it. He never allowed anyone close enough to investigate in the first place and wouldn’t change any time soon. As he continued to watch, a frown creased his face. How is it that they could pay ALL these men to come slaughter them, yet couldn’t pay the rest of his fee? His mouth soon twisted some as he thought about it. Was this some ploy to ‘clear house’ so to speak? Kill all these people and cheat them as well? “Fuckers…” He murmured. Well, this certainly wasn’t going to be done for free! Already he was trying to figure out how to profit from this, so his mind was far from turning into mush. And then there was the whole nakedness issue. Once he saw that she had become full fledged beast, even more of a frown crossed his face. Well, that one was an easier issue to fix, he had plenty of clothes floating about the Warehouse. If she wasn’t careful though, slim pickings will turn her outfits tacky. Speaking of tacky, the bloodshed upon the snow and the mess she was making wouldn’t do. He wasn’t going to let her back in the Warehouse like that and all those bodies strewn about…Wait…That’s how he’d do it. Something was better than nothing. So, while she was busy doing her thing, he brought a hand to his head and soon started speaking. “Hey Glaus, still in need for that supply?” Pauses as he tries to listen over the screaming and shouting. “Great. I have somethin for you.” He looked over at the mess. “At a discount…Yes yes mostly intact. Cranial damage though. They’re totally useless anyway.” He waved his hand. “Not really presentable, but I’m sure you can figure somethin out, you’re artistic.” Of course, he had to stroke that ego. “Good, will call again when everythin’s ready.” Turned in time to see that playtime was done and she had stacked the heads together. Well, least she cleaned up some. “You’re gonna have to do better than that.” Meaning all the gore still stuck to her fur. He wasn’t above taking a hose to her to get the blood off. Then again, he could open a portal up right now and drench her. Still, he had those heads to deal with… “Hang on.” One of them would pop into the bubble he surrounded himself in and he’d grab it by the hair. “Disgustin.” He commented before pulling out what appeared to be a pen. He’d start etching on the forehead before returning it back to the pile. A little note to get those ‘bosses’ bristling. ‘Paid’. He was getting his money one way or another. There came another snap and the heads were sent on their merry way. The bodies and any parts seemed to be grabbed as well, disappearing into the snow. “No point in wastin them.” He’d look out into the woods again before dropping his portals.

  78. Ebony Crow Ebony was a bit surprised that Dartz decided to stay, but she figured it was for his own gain, some how or some way, though not entirely certain on what he got out of it. It was going to take a whole lot more than these men to obtain Ebony in any form or fashion, probably why they 'hired' Dartz in the first place, but their screw up seemed to be that they thought they could get over on the man. She would probably regret the enormous amount of power she was out putting, it usually backfired on her since didn't have control of her powers half the time, mostly when she was angry would they flair up enough to keep herself safe. Her own power was that of the fullness of her families, that in turn ended up giving Dartz that warehouse and a few hidden secrets in it for Ebony when she actually got around to being curious on how to control her abilities or learn of her family. This particular family was into rare dog demon furs, and Ebony was last of her family, despite only being half, it was more than they had and such a price that Dartz gave them wouldn't do no matter how much money they could throw away without batting an eye at it. No they wanted their cake and to eat it too. Ebony was having such a thrilling time taking them all out each head at a swift moment, the blood lust was real in her eyes though. Soon enough though she would finish with her playtime, though it wasn't really much in the way of a challenge to her. "They were boring" she told Dartz as she watched him picked up one of the heads to write something on it "don't tell me you of all people are above getting their hands dirty when time comes to do so?" She questioned as she continued to try and clean herself up. It wasn't her fault her clothes get shredded each time she shifts, it just happened, but she was trying to clean herself up as best she could, which wasn't all that great.Soon shifting back with a few popping bones and crackling going on she was bare and covered from head to toe in blood and gore. Her long black locks were even out of any semblance of the ties she usually kept them in, but at least they could easily cover her bosom "well now you see why I find clothes pointless..." She yawned and muttered. Though there was still a gaping hole in the middle of her stomach she seemed to have forgotten about it, she looked ready for a nice hot bath and some coco and then maybe a nice long nap. "You know they aren't going to stop....I have a feeling it's those kind of people that don't like getting heads back instead of what they really wanted" she told him as she stretched out as her ears twitched picking up the sounds of some creatures near by. "Never a moment you don't make a profit is there?" She asked, though it was more of a rhetorical question as it was an obvious answer.Maybe food too, to get that nasty filthy taste out of her mouth of nasty men, maybe Dartz would actually feed her today instead of being cheap? "I'm hungry" a small whine came from her as her stomach could easily be heard with the giant hole right through it. One would almost wonder how she survived for so long on her own, but the scars were visible that littered her body as a testament for it being true.

  80. Dartz "I get them dirty from a distance." He responded with little more than a shrug. "Unless I'm really pissed off." He's had all sorts of blood on his hands. it was sticky and nasty on all accounts. Human blood though seemed to be more watery, but eventually got that texture as it dried. Dartz also hated getting his suits dirty. Thankfully his tailor had mastered the style of clothes he preferred. All the Dealer had to do was give her a call and barely even wait. He swore she had a surplus, just in case he needed them. Smart girl. It may be he'll have to go even more simple with Ebony's clothing. A sheet with holes and easily tear away or split somewhere so it can be reused. Yes, that would work fine. It wouldn't be as nice as the other outfits she should be wearing, but it'd work. No way was he going to associate with her if she wandered about naked. That woman? Never seen her a day in his life. Dartz could escape anywhere he wanted, but something about this world kept him here. A sort of charm maybe? Or was it that he saw dollar signs on the inhabitants? Whatever the reason, he wouldn't be leaving unless forced to. "You're a mess." He commented with a frown. Crimson surrounded by white. She stuck out like a sore thumb and he would make sure she didn't come near him. Just the mere thought had Dartz brushing his jacket of imaginary stains. "I've got an idea on how to fix that." Was all he said about her clothes. His grayish gaze went to the hole in her stomach, which allowed a much louder growling- "Eww." He wrinkled his nose. "I've got what I wanted." Though it wasn't ALL that was agreed upon, those bodies would make up a good chunk of it. "Just means I'll have to up security. I'm sure Rabbit will be THRILLED." Although he'd have to remember to make sure there was minimal damage done to the place. Hopefully the idiots could go elsewhere if there was a fight in the future. He'd smile a bit in thought. "Oh, they will be so pissed. Lost their men, lost their prize and I got the carrot." Or however that saying went. He knew the stick would come at some point now and would be ready. A brow was quirked when she stated she was hungry. "I bet." Was all he said. If they were going to remotely leave this place, first things first. He'd put his hand to his head again and spoke. "Rabbit, up security and draw a hot bath. Make it quick." And now to address Ebony again. He dropped a few more of the portals and left the biggest one guarding him. Another snap of fingers and a portal opened up over the girl. In a gush, with very good pressure, water was dumped over the girl. There was no way he was letting her anywhere without a prerinse!

  82. Ebony Crow Ebony would raise her eyebrow slightly at his response, she really didn't mind it, in a way it felt thrilling at first, but washing up afterwards was always a pain. Then again everyone was different maybe he just had a weak stomach? Ha! That was so funny she nearly laughed out loud at that herself, no, that wasn't it, but the way he was, it seemed he preferred to stay clean. It was obvious for her first what he called, a 'real bath' somehow getting into lakes and rivers to clean one's self off a bath. It was an upside down turning point in her world, as he managed to do that at all, whatever, it didn't matter much, she was sure eventually she'd be somewhere, she wasn't exactly a lady. Then again no one actually saw her human before or even cared to try to l." Do you really hate blood that much?" She questioned as she thought of another possible warm outfit, snuggle into it though, now soft warm fabrics had become her favorites oh the comfort! Though shifting wasn't an every day occurrence either, and most the time when helping Dartz out she actually took of her dress. Which happened to be the one she stole, but did take very good care of it; though the reason she stole it was she shifted trying to keep Trip from taking some shinning bright necklace? Locket? Something that was glowing to brightly. But it wasn't her fault! It was urgent, plus she found him cute and wanted nothing bad to happen to him. She's still surprised he hasn't figured it out yet, but then again, he could already know about him and not say anything? That was almost to funny, nope she sure she would get an ear full about that. "Well what do you expect to happen when you make sure your not going to be killed, a threat isn't eliminated until it's completely dead" she told him with a simple pout on her lips. This wasn't even her fault in the first damn place! She just wanted to eat some DAMN FOOD!! Like a normal person/dog demon! Then he goes and makes that face as a frown appears on her own. "Well you know, I can't exactly make this go away like you can, it's not like I have lovely healing magic like you do, it takes time to close up, so don't eww at my wound.." She huffed out at him a bit all thoughts of clothes now from her mind. Though at Rabbit's name, Ebony shuddered "I do not care how useful you may find him, it's just not right" she told him again as she narrowed her eyes at him a bit with a frown. That damn thing chased her! Nope! Uh-no! That was where she drew the line at.Her eyes narrowed further at him before she frowned more at his words of being a carrot "I think you fail to realize your 'carrot' isn't a carrot in the least bit" she huffed and rolled her eyes a bit at him. She needed to still figure out a way that she'd never be captured again, but that was on the back burner for now it hadn't even began to simmer yet. Suddenly though as she went to move from her places as a sudden splash of icy cold water ran over her body with quite a bit of pressure. A splur of water from her lips as she took a breath. Her hair, just was matted down every inch of her torso. "Dartz!!!" She yelled as she was now shivering cold, quickly covering her chest with her arms as she shook standing there, but was fairly prerinsed off."Yo-you, a-are a-an a-ass!" She sputtered out, naked and clod water do not mix! Inside now! Maybe that what his plan was! To get her to go in now! Bigger ass! Or was it pay back for snow in the face!! He started that! Oh he was in trouble now, she was going to soak the rest of their night good!
  83.
  84. Dartz "It stains." Was his answer to the question. As for her little pet, he was too busy to notice the creature. Trip had been all over the Warehouse though and had been super duper quiet about it. Everything looked so fun to play with, but he needed to behave. Especially with that armored thing wandering about. He had been spotted by Rabbit a couple times, but apparently pose no threat. Upping security though, might change that. No one knew how the big robot thought of things and it seemed pretty...mundane? Like it's programming only went so far. Either way it was enough to get the job done. "True." Dartz said. There was always a chance that a threat can get second wind. It's amazing when they don't learn the first time. The Dealer tended to be a fast learner, at least when it came to procuring stuff. He'd test the defenses at least once before giving up. He would prefer full pay, but a partial worked just as well. He didn't want to draw attention to himself and too many attempts could do that. Once he could actually SEE her wound through the blood and gore, he'd close it. He didn't need her leaking on his floors either. Water was something easier to handle, so long as she didn't soak the merchandise stacked about...Maybe it would be a good idea to port her directly to the bath. "It's just a phrase. Carrot and the stick or some nonsense. Those bastards got the stick this go around." He'd soon watch as she disappeared under the water and would shut it off once she moved or he thought she was drenched enough. So cold out here, yes, but he wasn't about to let her go anywhere like before. It could have been a hint of vengeance too, just a hint. "That I am." He admitted before the portal above her moved to the side of her. It would open up to the nice warm bathroom and that bath she wanted. Rabbit would be nowhere in sight. "Hurry up. Then maybe we'll talk about food."

  86. Ebony Crow Ebony just shook her head a bit at him, she was sure he was a male version of some prissy girl when it came to being clean and avoiding anything ruined or stained. Ebony was glad that Trip had figured out how to navigate around without being seen to much, though she then wondered more about that Rabbit creature of Dartz' more, what exact was that going to accomplish? It was just strange. "You and stains, I don't see what the big deal is over them?" She questioned with a small pout to her lips, she had been recently introduced to TV a bit, only because Dartz wanted to distract her so she'd stop being so bored, but only certain hours of the day. So that got boring, she couldn't exactly read, so that was out of the question. Dartz wouldn't teach her so she instead pestered him as much as she could, plus seeing as he could just capture her all over again when it got to much, she would stay away before that point. First few times wasn't the most pleasant thing in the world it makes one lose track of time. Ebony would yawn a bit, but she give a slight hum as she knew it would be something from the lips of it, made her wonder what was in the works next they would try if her gut feeling was right about these ones. "Th-Thank yo-you" Ebony told Dartz after he healed her wound after such a cold ass poor down of water over her bare skin, "ma-maybe..n-not a-all th-the t-time" she managed out through chittering teeth as she hadn't a slight idea that she might be kept close inside, then again she just wanted to be very warm right now. A whine escaped her lips at him as she was moving towards the portal "fooooooddd pleaseeeee!!" She drew out as she gave him that cute adorable cold and wet puppy dog look long enough before stepping through and hopping right into the nice hot water.
  87.
  88. Dartz It was more one less thing to worry about. Plus he had his favorite outfits and didn't want to get them ruined if he had to. Dartz could get Rabbit to clean the place up once in a while, give the thing something to do besides patrol. Could always torment Ebony with it, seeing as she didn't like the machine one bit. Then again, she might go all big doggo and destroy it. What a mess those two would cause while fighting. So lets dodge that altogether. "That's a difference between you and me. I didn't live like an animal." Maybe he should allow her more TV time, so long as she didn't keep the volume loud. It was a good distraction for sure, but the need to go outdoors was far stronger then technology. As for the reading bit, there was Rabbit. Again, she didn't like the thing, so maybe educational programming worked. There were plenty of children's shows out there, surely one could teach her to read. As for the capturing bit, he did give her a fair amount of warnings at first. One or two. There wouldn't be a third strike. Still poking and prodding at him, he stopped giving them altogether. He never even raised his hand, just a quick snap and that was that. Her thanks got a tilt of his head, his gray gaze studying her face a moment before he moved away from her and wiped his hands. "Not needed." Darn girl was going to freeze if she didn't hurry. Why was he concerned now? Damn that puppy look of hers. Was it REALLY getting to him? Maybe not all the time... "No need to sugar coat it." He knew what he was. "Wash up." Dartz planned to leave her in the bathroom for now and go find her something to eat. He still wouldn't thank her, but whatever meal he brought up would suffice enough. A robe for now, plush and red, would be provided for her to wear. If she came out naked he was going to send her right back to dress.
