Ghost Pirate

Johnathan Harrow

“CAPTAIN Johnathan Harrow.”

That was the name he remembered. His name. His life.

His father was a dutch pirate, his mother an Inn keeper by the sea. He left her after one night stand to fend for herself and her son. When she died of the fever when he was still a little boy, Johnathan left, ironically, to follow his fathers footsteps and became a cabin boy to another pirate.

Decades later they would call him by many names: “The Plague of Scandinavia, the Scourge of Barbary and Mediteranean, the Devil of the African Coast, and Worlds Greatest Pirate.” Sure that last one was a self given title, but he'd never met a man who dare challenge him for it. Not even his treacherous cabin boy Grant, who had the gall to  desert his crew.

But right now, he was mad at another issue.

He remembers burying that Nobles treasure, Count Dracula or some-other he didn't care. He was suspicious when he not only found, but called for him and his ship all the way up the river just to bury perhaps the most wealth he had ever laid eyes upon. In a stinking rotting hellscape of blood, so deep and thick he had to sail through it.

Things weird before, but toiling through the crimson rain was the last straw for that no-good bum crew of his. He knew they would betray him and each other once they laid eyes on that loot. Lo and behold, it didn't take long for mutiny to occur.

Nobody kills Captain Harrow. Even all at once his crew stood no chance, but as he stood the last man, he fell over full of lead and shot and two dozen gashes over his body. Captain Harrow died of his wounds, his blood mingingling with the pouring rain.

And now he found himself here.

He would raise a new crew and a new ship, better than before, and return to where he belonged in the world.

Note: Ghostly Wail will be involved in all of these plans. Thus it is a choice between what will be the other two.
