|    We are the guardians of the Light, first and foremost the bearers |
|  of shield and arms against those would trespass and transgress      |
|  against the Light and those who follow it.                          |

|    We wish you to be mindful of not only the wonderous, grand deeds  |
|  that you shall one day perform, but of the horrors and tragedies    |
|  this world has had brought upon it, and know that you shall one day |
|  seek to cleanse it, through either prowess or prose, as a Knight    |
|  in service to the Light.                                            |

|    You will begin what we refer to as "The Testing," wherein you     |
|  shall learn a multitude of aspects surrounding life in the Basin    |
|  and, indeed, outside the Basin. Your life will become a rigorous    |
|  sculpture for training, both mentally and physically, as you        |
|  progress these trials - but know that your fellow Knights are here  |
|  with you as you enter the darkness, overcome the hardship, and      |
|  emerge bathed in the Light.                                         |

|    If at the time of your arrival from the Portal of Fates you find  |
|  yourself without a Paladin Knight to assist you feel free to follow |
|  these instructions and start your journey. We will be a long        |
|  shortly to help you.                                                |
|                                                                      |
|    You will perform all studies and introductory courses in the      |
|  training and practice hall of the Aegis Keep. You can read          |
|  GHELP KEEP for instructions on how to get there. From the Pool of   |
|  of Stars you must travel NW NW NE and "PRESS EMBLEM" to gain entry  |
|  to the Aegis Keep. In this room resides Dame Eluzmith, the          |
|  instructor for all Paladins and a well-versed denizen with whom can |
|  teach you nearly anything you wish to know.                         |

|    Before you can begin training you must select several skills      |
|  that relate to being a Paladin, ones which will give you access     |
|  to a variety of ways to serve and honor not only yourself, but      |
|  the Paladin Guild you have enlisted to.                             |

|    A Paladin Knight will give you a final test on Pagehood after all |
|  tasks are completed. The test will be simple, designed to let us    |
|  know you have an understanding of how to control yourself and to    |
|  navigate the world around you.                                      |

|    From this point, Page, you have three tasks appointed to you.     |
|  You may do either of these tasks first, so far long as all are      |
|  completed. You will not advance past being a Page without all       |
|  three.                                                              |

|  These provided healing materials are given to you as a Page when    |
|  you complete training in the necessary skills. These serve merely   |
|  as a starter kit and you will likely wish to increase your supplies |
|  in the future, but they will be fine for now.                       |

|  EDUCATION TASK:                                                     |
|                                                                      |
|    No Paladin can spread the goals of the Light without educating    |
|  themselves. As such, you will travel to the Collegium in the City   |
|  and perform several quests requested of you by various trainers     |
|  that reside there. Do this to earn your honours as a student        |
|  and you will have gone leaps and bounds in becoming a promising     |
|  member of the Holy Paladin Guild.                                   |

|    Please read on the following if you need any assistance on this   |
|  task. Alternatively, feel free to ask fellow Paladins whensoever    |
|  you become lost. We are your guides.                                |

|  CGHELP COLLEGEQUESTS                                                |

|                                                                      |
|    If you are curious, the Collegium is an educational institute     |
|  in our home City of New Celest that helps adventurers from all      |
|  friendly Guilds begin their life. They also may assist you in       |
|  this specific task only. The following channels will allow you to   |

|  TRAINING TASK:                                                      |
|                                                                      |
|    However brave they may be, no Paladin can take on the World       |
|  without honing their skills and body through hunting and training.  |
|  With this in mind, the other task of a Page should be to reach      |
|  the 30th measure of experience, also referred to as your "level".   |
|  The bulk of these levels can be obtained, up to the 21st measure,   |
|  through your travels in Newton - an area designed around novices    |
|  and new-comers. For anything else, you may ask a fellow Paladin.    |
|  Be mindful, though, as you are in service to the Light you may not  |
|  attack, slay, or otherwise harm denizens that are considered to be  |
|  good or neutral. I will list you a HELP file below that can give    |
|  you some initial instruction on who this would refer to.            |

|  COMBAT TASK:                                                        |
|                                                                      |
|    As a Page you are required to have a very basic understanding of  |
|  how combat works. This is really entailing of a defence, showing    |
|  us you can cure some of the normal afflictions or injuries you will |
|  sustain. This will take place with a spar in the arena. We will     |
|  provide a Squire to fight against you, and if one is not available  |
|  then we may ask a citizen of equal progression from another Guild   |
|  New Celest to complete this for you. Lastly, if none of these are   |
|  available a full Knight of the Paladins may do it for you but will  |
|  hold back from using the full arsenal available to them via the     |
|  Light.                                                              |

|    You will have come a long way in your training to be a Knight as  |
|  you finish these tasks. Yet, you have so much more to learn, as do  |
|  we all. This in mind, we shall test your retention of information   |
|  as a Page to see if you are ready to move on. To see if you are     |
|  ready to become a Squire in service to a full Paladin Knight and to |
|  learn and become that which you desire. If you are ready or wish to |

|    Short and simple, the Paladin Knight administering your test will |
|  ask you a series of questions regarding all that you have learned   |
|  and go over skills with you that you have recently trained as part  |
|  of the Page tasks. Nothing here is neither fail nor pass, but what  |
|  the Knight feels you may need to visit again or accomplish before   |
|  moving on. Here are a few HELP files you can review if you wish,    |
|  and they may give you some insight in to information you wish to    |
|  to be prepared with.                                                |

|    Hail ye most Holy Knights of the Paladin Order,                   |
|                                                                      |
|    I am Sir Rafael Lenu and I am writing this to guide you in the    |
|  proper steps to assisting young novices to begin their life as a    |
|  Page in the most Holy Order of Paladins.                            |
|                                                                      |
|    Please remember that as you talk to and impart upon each one of   |
|  our young that they are impressionable. So impressionable that I    |
|  have seen a Page overjoyed that he partook in teachings of the      |
|  Sacraments and led a long life devout to the Light, ever in         |
|  reverence to the Light and what it may do for us in our adventures  |
|  and journeys here. This new-found love for the Light came from a    |
|  story I told him once of sacrificing myself to save a fallen        |
|  kinsmen. With this in mind, make a personal connection beyond this  |
|  guide with your Pages. You never know how much that little extra    |
|  will empower the future of this Guild. You are the first Paladin    |
|  Knight they have ever met, and this last impressing will stick with |
|  them forever.                                                       |

|                                                                      |
|    Please take the time to have the Page you are assisting read      |
|  GHELP PAGES and speak to them on every matter therein. It is a      |
|  short help file to get them to the Aegis Keep and get them properly |
|  trained to begin adventures in this world. Continue with the next   |
|  scroll, listed at the bottom, of GHELP PAGETASKS. These are an      |
|  outline of the short and simple tasks they must fulfill to become   |
|  a dutiful Squire, where they will pledge service to a Knight.       |
|  You merely need to go over it with them after they read it and      |
|  answer any questions they may have. After this is done and they     |
|  have trained in the necessary talents you may provide them the      |
|  vials and herbs outlined in "Provided Materials". If you are unable |
|  because stocks are empty or no Knight is around to get them,        |
|  provide them yourself and let an Archon know - you will be quickly  |
|  reimbursed. The crucialty of this is letting the Page know we are   |
|  here to support them in their first ever tasks set before them.     |
|  Now, lastly, after all is done have them read over GHELP RULES,     |
|  GHELP ETIQUETTE, and GHELP CODE. It is not necessary that they are  |
|  to do it immediately, but it is sort of a homework. They entail our |
|  basic rules that will help them in communicating and becoming a     |
|  model citizen and Paladin.                                          |

|    The Page introduction is short, simple, and designed to get the   |
|  Page in question moving in the world, experiencing all that which   |
|  it has to offer. After you are done and they have no more           |
|  questions then send them on their way to starting their tasks.      |
