- Remember these guys?
- [Pandemic logo]
- You might know them from titles such as
- [Star Wars Battlefront]
- [Star Wars Battlefront 2]
- [Destroy All Humans!]
- [Destroy All Humans! 2]
- [Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction]
- [Mercenaries 2: World in Flames]
- If you don't know what happened to them, I will tell you
- This is John Riccitiello, the President and Chief Operating Officer of EA until 2004 when he suddenly resigned
- [John Riccitiello]
- Later that year he co-founded Elevation Partners

- In addition to his responsibilities as a Managing Director at Elevation, he also served as the Chairman and CEO of VG Holdings consisting of BioWare and Pandemic Studios

- In 2007 Riccitiello negotiated the buyout of VG Holdings to EA games,
- [EA logo with BioWare/Pandemic logos to the side, pointing to EA]
- And just a few months later, John Riccitiello is appointed the CEO of EA
- So what happens to Pandemic?
- Pandemic studios is closed down and the 228 employees there are fired
- So with all the money they saved, they were able to treat their other employees with higher wages and better hours right?
- Nope, EA is known to be the worst game company to work for in the industry. The way they treat their employees is so bad, that at one point, EA was sued for their terrible working conditions.
- This is just one of the many reasons why I hate EA.
- Do your part by NOT PURCHASING any games from them
