- As Tsundere-kun puts on a jacket, his dad says to him, "Take your sister to the toy store while you are out. She wants that new...duck thing."
- Hana angrily shouts at her dad, "He's not a thing, and his name is Takkun!", balling up her fists.
- "Yeah, sure, whatever.", he says, unamused, as he continues to read his paper.
- I bow to him as I walk to the door with the group.
- "Oh, and one more thing...", he continues.
- He promptly stands up and walks over to Tsundere-kun, pulling him by his ear.
- "Do NOT kick anyone down there! I heard what happened at the arcade.", he roars in anger.
- "Owww! How did you find out?", Tsundere-kun grips his ear in pain after his dad lets go, tearing up.
- "I'm still friends with the manager, remember? Of course he would tell me about it!", the gruff man responds, arms sternly crossed.
- His dad looks at me.
- "Now, you have my boy, my baby girl, and most importantly, my trust in you to take care of. DON'T. FUCK. UP.", he says with a serious look on his face, this time, not joking.
- Of course, I wasn't, either.
- I bow, saying, "Hai! I promise they're in good hands."
- "That, I'm sure you are. You haven't given me any reason to doubt you, so why start now?", the dad says with a smile, as he turns away.
- The three of us stare at him.
- "Sir...", I say.
- "Old man...", Tsundere-kun says.
- "Daddy...", Hana says.
- He looks back, face starting to sour.
- "What are you three standing around for? Get a move on, already! I don't have all day.", he hollers.
- As we leave, he calls out from the doorway, "Have fun!"
- We wave as we exit the yard and walk towards the shopping mall.
