- Artifact Types: There are several types of magical artifacts found throughout the magical world; The Gameshow contains several of these artifacts. Each artifact has its own special ability, purpose, or function, usually beyond the normal 'sword & shield'. They can also come in the form of anything; from boots, to jewelry, to a greatsword. Certain artifacts can be seen as multiple 'types'; for instance, a scaling eidolon artifact.
- Scaling artifact: These artifacts 'grow' with the user, in a sense. They're artifacts a lot like the evocable, except generally weaker --however, as the user grows, the artifact gains unique, and much more custom effects.
- Eidolon artifact: These artifacts are catalysts that bind the user's soul to an extraplanar entity; these entities are capable of carrying out orders to the user's will, though the user will find his reserves damaged should the Eidolon get harmed.
- Evocable/Stored effect: These are the most common artifacts one can find; they're simply items that have a unique, magical effect, such as growing temporary wings and shooting a fireball. These artifacts can come in any form.
- Sentient artifact: An artifact that's actually sentient. These are, quite possibly, the rarest form of artifact one can find. A sentient artifact often has more than just one effect, however the user will have to deal with the sentience and personality contained within the item.
- Bound artifact: Put simply, this artifact is bound to the user; meaning that the object can never be removed without the death of the former owner. A bound artifact is usually quite powerful.
- Cursed artifact: Cursed artifacts are usually bound; but in addition, provide a detrimental effect at the cost of their power. Sometimes, cursed artifacts are sentient; making a very dangerous weapon indeed.
- Unique: Unique artifacts follow none of these categories, and as a result have their own traits and features that are seen out of the norm.
