Writing Good Action Items

An action item has a duration 15-90 minutes.

Clearly describe what action is to be carried out,
and what product results.

E.g. "purchase name tag holders at El Corral and
bring one for each person to the Wed team meeting."

SPecify product completely, concretely, including delivery:
email, post on wiki, paper, etc.

Specify QA criteria

TIPS:
Use verb-phrase.
NOT "TPS Report" but "Write TPS Report"

Write as though for someone else ... because it is: your
future self after you've forgotten what happened at the meeting.

Immediately answer: Do I have needed training and resources
to complete this task.

Don't procrasinate.
