- All the lusii were on monster lusii island just by themselves.
- Octopus and Unicorn were frolicking in a shallow stream. Octopus spurted jets of cool water into her face and she splashed him back by stomping with her hooves. They were cleaning off the dust Moth had left on them.
- Seacat watched them, stalking from a nearby bush. She still remembered their original purpose, to raise young trolls. She had stern ideas on how to do this, and their silliness did not fit in. Her predatory stillness betrayed not a hint of the disdain she felt.
- Then Snake jumped out of the grass and surprised the pair. He also remembered their role as teachers and he said to them “One must always be aware of ones surroundings, or you are inviting the enemy in”
- Octopus and Unicorn looked at each other, wondering why Snake had interrupted their play to tell them this now of all times. Snake simply smiled smugly, waiting.
- Sure enough, Seacat pounced on Octopus sending them rolling in a ball of fury down the shallow stream. Unicorn whelped and bounded along after them in distress. But Octopus thought Seacat was just playing, and he giggled and wrapped his tentacles around her. It wasn't until Seacat bit off one of his tentacles that he cried out in pain and betrayal.
- “What's going on here, you shouldn't be fighting. You'll get yourselves hurt.” That was said by Dove, who had just arrived perching on top of Eel's nose. Eel was more stern and angry with them. She said, “If you can't all get along then you have to be kept apart for your own good.”
- And so Eel slithered between all the lusii, keeping them apart with her body. Nobody could play with each other again and everything was sad forever. The end.
