I created this message to let people know that there is a new, straightforward way of playing Warhawk. Windows:
1. Download the latest release of Warhawk Reborn for Windows: https://github.com/warhawkreborn/connector_windows/releases

2. Open the application WarhawkReborn.exe.

Getting ready to play is really simple.

Download the app to your phone using a browser from the following link: https://warhawk.thalhammer.it/app-release-1.1.apk

All the following screenshots were made on an Android 8.1 device. Other versions are similar.

If you already have untrusted sources enabled, you can skip step 1 and 2.

If your browser gives you the option to open the downloaded file directly, do so. Otherwise, use a file browser on your phone to find and open the downloaded apk.

1. You should see a screen similar to this:

2. Click on Settings, which opens this screen:

Make sure the option “Allow from this source” is enabled and press the back button.

3. Click on the “Install” button:

4. Once the installation is done, press “Open” or open the app via your App Launcher. You will see a screen similar to this:

5. Go to your PS3, open Warhawk and search for local games. Select a game and join."
Notes by Dominik Thalhammer:

"NOTE that you only need the app while searching for games. As soon as you see the loading screen on Warhawk the app is not needed anymore."

It will be possible to host a server when using the app in the future: "You have to forward port 10029 to your PS3 and enter your IP in the App. This is not yet implemented though. The App is not really ready, it was just intended as a prove of concept"
