x. personality : if there is anybody that wasn't born into being a heir, yet can get herself a scholarship into a school just full of them, it's bok yunseo. due to her hard working, strong willed, determined, and intelligent traits, she clinched her spot in yanghwa— late night studying, forcing her brothers to test her with flash cards against their will, and etc. (but in the end, she thinks it was worth it). she is not a completely mute person, but she isn't a complete softy like her friend innocent butterfly, or totally cutthroat as icy princess. she likes to call herself more reserved— also, more down to earth; she thinks with realistic view points and claims she's the most level headed, sane person, within this school full of stuck up rich kids. she isn't anti social, but she keeps to herself most of the time.

she cares more about her family and grades, than to let what the people at yanghwa think of her being from the lower class get her down. sometimes, she does reach a break point, causing her release her emotions in different ways; angry indirect ripped letters, leaking tears against her will that she wipes away quickly so no one sees when everything is catching up to her. she usually never lets out how she feels towards her parents either, since they are already so proud of their daughter toughing it out in high school, because they know it's full of harsh studying schedules and harsh kids.

x. trivia

• yunseo's favorite color is yellow; it makes her feel bright and lucky— she wears and keeps around yellow things as lucky charms on tests; even in strict uniform policy, she manages to wear (or hide) the color in various ways— pin badges on her backpack, stickers on notebooks, hairties, and etc.
• yunseo likes when people work hard to get where they want to be; she finds it inspiring, and makes her want to keep trying to get to her goals, even if they're hard.
• in retrospect to the above, she dislikes (or is annoyed) for instance, at the heirs of her school, since they've never had to try at anything— they were born with silver spoons in their mouths.
• she also has a habit of biting her nails when she studies; she just does it without even noticing. her mom usually scolds her for her cuticle ruining habit.
• she is currently trying to learn mandarin, although, with all the studies she has to do already, she really wants to give up that elective. sometimes for tests, she repeats mandarin repeatedly; which causes her to murmur mandarin in her sleep.
• one of her favorite hobbies is to listen to music— from classical beethoven, to western hip hop. but, today's kpop hits are okay too for bus rides to school. whatever fits the mood, honestly.
• doesn't have an ideal type, because who worries about boys when there is chores and grades on the line? ugh.

x. family members

• bok byungwook : bok byungwook is yunseo's father, who slightly acts and resembles the korean santa claus. unfortunately, generously lending money, and already having been on a low budget, the happy stout man with a booming voice, put holes in the bok families pockets. one of the reasons why yunseo wants to get into a good college and a good job to support her family. bok byungwook works in manufacturing factory for hardware (packaging and such). but in all honestly, no matter how bad life has gotten, he seems fine with everything, since he had his family with him. (very close, but not as much as her brother, but she cares very much about her father. worries about his health and generosity).

• bora byungwook : tired, busy, and unfortunately, the mother of the house hold had different ideas of how the house should be run, and thinks that her husband should get a better job. but just like her husband, she is immensely proud of her children (especially yunseo). sometimes, she does tend to get antsy and stressed about things she needs to get done around the house, appointments for all five house hold members, and etc. she works as a cleaning maid in a highly known office building, in the late nights. (which worries her daughter). (very close, but yunseo still doesn't tell her everything that goes on in school, if you know what i mean).

• bok hyuk : sixteen and the oldest son of the bok house hold— just starting public high school, unlike yunseo. even though her younger brother looks almost the same age as her already (he hit puberty early) and he still gets annoyed when his older sister treats him like a little kid. (especially when girls give him love notes, and yunseo just gives him a face that looks like she's holding in her laughter). but let's be real, he knows she cares about him. (very close, in the love hate way. even he knows what's going on in her head even if she doesn't tell him, which sorta annoys him).

• bok iseul : yunseo constantly wonders why her little six year old sister happened to get the cutest name, the cutest genes, in the ugliest household to grow up in. but, nevertheless, the little girl is adorable and cheerful, brightening yunseo's ocassional sad moods. in contrast, her little sister watches a cartoon with the most annoying voice actors that make her want to rip out her hair. (very close)

x. background : she was born in gwangju, and grew up there for a while. when her father had gotten a job for the new family, they had moved to daegu. since then, they haven't moved for years. due to her father being an overly kind middle aged man, he lent out large sums of money, which put the family into debt. (never the less, his annoyed wife always forgives him; i guess that's love, people). even though her house isn't the ideal place to live in (cramped, non renovated, with extremely thin walls), she didn't mind. she stayed in the house most of the time, tending to the house with her mom (although she was a kid and could barely do anything except annoy her mother, messing up the room more). when her younger brother came along, she started going around the neighborhood, playing at the park with him, along with her little sister iseul.

before yanghwa, she attended public schools. even though as a kid more reserved than others, she opened up with her childhood friend, nam woohyun. from there, she was already ahead the other students in her class, but never really paid attention to that. school was a refreshing period in her life, well... at least, before yanghwa and their rich kids came along the picture. now it's dramatic and exhausting.

x. love interest : kim seokjin

x. his personality : kim seokjin is rather charming, confident, and the boy you want to introduce to your mother. he can cook, clean, and sing, and basically the human embodiment of one hundred percent perfection. well, maybe, ninety two percent... or eighty in yunseo's eyes. his confidence is rather zealous and overtop, since he knows with the reputation he has, he gets what he wants. he loves the letters he gets from ladies at the school everyday, and loves calling them princesses, yet never accepts them.

when he doesn't get what he wants, or things don't go his way, his personality can get a bit bratty, and whiny. ("what's wrong with you? don't you see the handsome guy named kim seokjin right in front of you?") nevertheless, he really is a sweet, most of the time mature guy... he's just a bit annoying with the nicknames and constant compliments to yunseo. but secretly, he is a really awkward guy, not matter how much of a ladies man he seems to be. he lets out more of his goofy personality around yunseo.

x. how your character acts around him : seriously people, if anybody could also be as oblivious as bok yunseo, they'd be crazy not to notice kim seokjin. being mostly focused on keeping up her grades, she doesn't really notice him, until he gets bothered by her not noticing him (which is a first, because everyone knows him). around kim seokjin, she is usually more annoyed than normal, and cringes at his nicknames like ("princess" "darling" "sweetheart"), but she really wants to rip his throat out (more than usual, once again) when he tries using her nickname "yun yun". but strangely, the company of the vain, rich student, is nice to her. she usually lets out how she feels about family, friends, school, random topics, on the school rooftop with him.

x. how he acts around your character : at first, he is extremely bothered by how she doesn't succumb to his charismatic charms like the other vulnerable girls in the school. he usually gets really annoying — gets talkative (mostly about his good looks), smothers her in compliments and nicknames, and is constantly tailing behind her (which is also, a first, because usually, the roles are reversed). but with her, he lets out more of his normal self— the goofy, awkward one, that is bad at dancing, bad at normal conversation (especially with her), and bad at making jokes. but honestly, his awkwardness makes her laugh, so he's alright with showing off his flaws with her.

x. relationship : acquaintances at first, (even though yunseo wishes he'd leave her alone in the beginning), but they become really close friends
