  6. RU attacked Lviv with 3 Shahed drones overnight, which were intercepted.

  8. Poland received some 300 million euros for constructing of a satellite/intelligence system portion of EU defensive postures in the coming years. PM Donald Tusk is due to present a proposal for an EU "Iron dome" in the coming days.

  10. A 28 year old man was arrested for swimming across the RU/Romanian border in an inner tube, after paying some $6000 USD to people who promised him unhindered crossing at the border.

  21. UA amended the mobilization process and laws, expanding the ability for government employees to serve summons. The rumor is 100,000 soldiers are due to be mobilized, far less then the prior stated need of 500,000. The mobilization law went into effect on May 18, with conscript age men (25+) having 60 days to update their information in the registrar and receive documentation demonstrating so.

  25. Upon receiving a summons, UA men have up to 12 days to report to a mobilization office before punitive measures such as drivers license suspensions, fines, and potentially jail time are enforced. Reportedly some 1768 people were charged with draft evasion in 2023.
