  1. Yivnei
  2. Among the creations of the gods, one of the most important was that of humanoids, beings that had intelligence, and gave their thanks to the gods. When first formed, none of the races had any sort of desire or emotion, simply wishing to eat, reproduce, pray, and sleep. Without the differing emotions the gods had, the people of the world were nothing more than golems made of flesh, hair, and bone, and while some of the deities could accept this, others could not. To rectify this, eight people were chosen to be gifted intense emotions and influence over others, to inspire others to have feelings of their own, with each naming their emotion; Avarice, Envy, Gluttony, Joy, Lust, Sloth, Vainglory, and Wrath.
  3.
  4. Of the eight, only one of them was unhappy with the arrangement of the emotions gifted to them; a human woman, the one who called herself Envy, whose gift gave her nothing but desire for what others had, an inescapable drive to want what her fellow giftbearers had, such as the self-acceptance of Vainglory, or of the relaxation of Sloth. Slowly, as emotion was instilled in other humanoids, many taking on multiple feelings, Envy hid those she blessed away, trapping them with only the same want that burned within her heart. In time, she schemed with her devotees, plotting to steal away the hearts of her kin, and eat them all, to finally take the emotions she desired from them.
  5.
  6. On the 30th night after their feelings were given to them, Envy and her followers silently crept to the sleeping bedside of the others that were blessed with emotion, and one by one, they cut out the hearts of them all, Envy feasting upon their tissue, save for Joy, who awoke in the middle of Envy's trance of greed, gluttony, and excessive boasting. Joy fled from the murderous witch, and hid inside of a cave which had a great boar sleep inside of it. Upon seeing the massive hog, Joy begged for it to protect her, and while the beast could not understand her, the demon lord Orcus, whose true form was that of a pig-like man, heard through the ears of the great boar. In an instant, the beast's form was whisked away, and in its place was the demon lord of the undead, who struck a deal with Joy; she would withhold most of the joy of mortals unless they commit heinous acts, at which point the individual would be barraged with immense feelings of pleasure. In return, Orcus would slay this one who seeks to rip her flesh to bits.
  7.
  8. Before Joy could properly comprehend the effects of the deal, Envy had tracked the fleeing maiden into the cave, and so, she accepted Orcus' deal, to which he stood in front of her, brandishing his unholy mace. Envy leaped upon the demon, but before she could even attempt to pierce his flesh with her dagger, he filled her form with negative energy, slaying her in an instant, her tissue all immediately melting, leaving nothing more than a skeleton in fabrics, clutching a blade. Orcus and Joy left the corpse to rot, and after lying in the cave for a single tenday, the excess necromantic magics had fully seeped into every bone in Envy's form, reanimating her once more as a horrid member of the undead, still clutching the powers of the six other blessed in her unholy soul.
  9.
  10. At that moment, Envy's mind was barraged with the demands of the other emotions, screaming from the inside of her skull to escape from her form to run free, and inhabit the bodies of all beings. When she refused, they possessed her body, and with the very same blade that ripped open their chests, five of her ribs were sliced off; the ones containing Avarice, Gluttony, Sloth, Vainglory, and Wrath. With every bone removed from her ribcage, their control waned, until only the emotions of Envy and Lust remained. Envy completely was her own emotion, and so, combining her undead mind with her blessed feeling, Lust was locked inside of the deepest recesses of her form, to be imprisoned forever. With an unstoppable sense of vengeance in her soul, combined with two blessings in her form, Envy shed her previous name and any form of mortality, becoming the goddess now known as Yivnei.
  11.
  12. At times, Lust tries to break free from Yivnei's form, her bones cracking and shaking from the power the emotion inside contains. To lessen Lust's capabilities, Yivnei instills insatiable desire into the hearts of men, forcing them to chase after women endlessly, slowly draining the power of the chained blessing inside her undead soul. To guarantee that these men would never gain what they wished, Yivnei prematurely ends the life of any women that the men come close enough to that they lust for, or for those that hold darkness in their hearts, Yivnei grants the knowledge of how to string along men like slaves to attractive women, ones she believes will be able to constantly siphon power away from Lust, and keep her trapped inside her skeletal form forever.
