[23:39] Immediately, as soon as they're alone, flame bursts to life around Tlacaelel, and he dashes forward with the same unbridled passion and just manic heat that had become his signature style. The raw heat that exudes from him burns manically, and within usually dull yellow eyes are the mirrors of the fire that consumes his fucking soul.

He was still several, several degrees weaker than Zenkichi, and posed no threat in the least.

But he didn't know that, and that was what this was about.

[23:47] There was a moment that Cael might've caught here. Something that probably should've registered with him. That moment being - when he looked to Zenkichi upon first bringing out those flames - there'd be a look of worry. A genuine sort of parental concern that had been brought out from this flagrant display of power from Cael.

"...Ah." -- It clicked in his head suddenly. The ninja takes a step back, his hands still lax by his side. The swing that aims to start the fight finds nothing but empty air. Zenkichi still needs time to think and so he makes it. Distancing himself from his student with a few measured movements. Keeping him invested enough to keep trying to reach him, but always moving out of the way at the last second.

"You're actin' like a starving dog." He chides. "I guess I gotta teach you a lesson. Cause, you know, there's a sort of mindset you gotta be in to make it to the top." His hands suddenly whipped forward, his palms being used as instruments of destruction to absolutely dismantle this kid.

"Don't chase power. Let it come to you." It was on that note, that the battle begun in earnest.

The boy doesn't know quite what this means, especially not at this age. There is something he has yet to learn of the world - and that is the value of patience. 'Cael has grand ambitions, and believes he can accomplish them at will. Cael has grand ambitions, and thinks the timer to achieve all that he has set out to...is ticking.

In his insolence, in his youth, he believes himself a match now for even Zenkichi. He believes that there is no possible way that the gap could be anything approaching monumental. He would unite the tribes of Gehenna under him. He would exile the demons and the unsightly. He would -

[23:55] There's such a massive divide that he has immediately come into conflict with.

The overwhelming display of force has his eyes widening, the raw energy Zenkichi exudes something like a beacon of power that he could palpably feel.
