[00:31] Robert Maven says, "Ah, good ah found ya Miss Ciel."
[00:31] Ciel looks up from her tea and novel.

[00:31] Ciel Valkrin says, "Ah, Robert."
[00:31] Ciel Valkrin asks, "What's up?"
[00:31] Robert Maven says, "Hmm... Well I was wonderin' iffen I could ask ya a favor? If it's in yer power that is."
[00:33] Ciel Valkrin says, "Depends, I'd say I did you a pretty big favor last time...so I'd have to know what it was first."
[00:33] Ciel raises a brow at him, she liked Robert but she wasn't about to give him anymore handouts than she had already.

[00:35] Robert Maven says, "Ah, well yeah... Yer right bout that. Well... speakin' o' that ingot ya gave me. I was plannin' on makin' a forge with it. One that could make it easier ta make cold iron. But... I need a power storage fer any mana the forge takes in naturally. I was thinkin' there might be some big ole crystals up in the Tarian. An I wanted ta ask permission afore I went ta look fer any ta take."
[00:37] Ciel Valkrin asks, "Tarian huh?"
[00:41] Ciel takes another sip of her tea, now closing her book and lying it on the table in front of her. She turns her body to fully face Robert, giving him her attention fully now. "I'll admit of all the things I expected you to do with that bar, a Cold Iron forge is both the smartest and least expected. I approve, and I'd say looking for some sort of mana battery is a good place to start."


There is another few moments of thinking as she perhaps sizes Robert up mentally...thinking back to their last encounter before eventually nodding. "Alright. The fact you asked is smart given if you had just taken it I'd likely be obligated to beat the shit out of you." A finger taps her chin. "Sure, I'll see what I can do. Just know that however you get this crystal, you're gonna have to prove yourself. If I'm there to witness it and you earn your prize through strength, tenacity, and courage...then I see no problem with it."

"Ain't somethin' i'd hafta do alone is it? The project ain't only mine. Mah teacher is 'elpin me do it too. 'Er and 'er partner already told me they'd come along wherever I thought we needed ta go fer materials."

[00:48] Robert Maven says, "Mmm... Well I got people ah trust an' I think the last voice of Moxtli would be a pretty good fighter, er so i'd assume."

[00:49] Ciel Valkrin says, "Sure why not, I get along with him. Be fun to roll with him on a mission for once."
[00:49] Robert Maven asks, "Mhmm. Ya know 'is Partner then?"
[00:49] Robert Maven says, "That'd be mah teacher."

[00:50] Ciel Valkrin says, "Never actually spoken to her."
[00:51] Robert Maven says, "She's a good sort. I also 'ad a friend from school that wanted ta help... Not as good of a fighter but... I think she can 'andle 'erself still."

[00:51] Robert Maven says, "'Er wife would kill me if she died, so I wouldn't bring 'er if I wasn't sure."
[00:51] Ciel Valkrin says, "People only get stronger through challenging their limits, so if you think she's ready for it then I don't mind."
[00:52] Ciel Valkrin says, "I've certainly failed and flopped around more than I can count. I won't deny someone else the chance."
[00:52] Ciel Valkrin says, "I was runt of the fuckin litter so to speak at one point."
[00:53] Robert Maven says, "Heh, I'd say the one with the least fightin' experience is me ta be honest."
[00:53] Robert Maven says, "But I can beat Ruby is spars pretty handily, 'n' she's the friend from the school I mentioned."
[00:53] Ciel Valkrin says, "Then you're pretty brave asking to go to Tarian. The same thing I said about her applies to you, if you think you can handle it? I'll be there to witness you."
[00:54] Robert Maven says, "Well, if I can't 'andle gettin' tha supplies fer the forge. I reckon' I don't rightly deserve ta make it."
[00:54] Ciel Valkrin says, "I'll save you if you're about to die, but I'm not exactly gonna stop every injury you might face."
[00:54] Ciel smiles faintly, she liked that answer.

[00:58] Ciel Valkrin says, "No problem, you take care of yourself until then Robert. Glad to see that ingot went to a good use."
