- Ground gym concept
- Around 5th gym in the sequence, takes place in a seemingly abandoned museum, owned by a decently-large mining company.
- The founders dug out the back of the museum as it was discovered that the building site is a treasure trove for strange and unusual minerals. The dig proved successful, to an insane degree, and prompted nearby miners to join in on the dig, which got deeper and deeper as time went on.
- The gym itself comprises of various different drill carts that burrow through a maze of dirt, taking you to a docking chamber, where you'll find trainers to battle, that when defeated, let you use their drill-cart to get deeper into the tunnel.
- The trainers are mostly miners, with a few hikers, battle girls and black belts in the midst to help out with the heavy lifting of cargo, the trainers will battle in a variety of different ways such as Singles, Doubles, Triples or Rotations, but mostly focusing on Double Battles
- Once you get to the end, you find two gym leaders, revealing themselves to be a dual-gym leader, and the founders of the mining company. Next to them, is an even larger drill than all the ones prior. They reveal that the town itself, rather than being a mountain-lodged town that it looked like, is one giant mobile drill town, designed to unearth the giant rare mineral that the duo had found. The town itself was founded to keep people fed and housed during the expedition, as otherwise the commute between their home and the dig site would've been too long.
- The Gym Leaders mention that, if they manage to excavate this mineral, then the drill-town will be able to have free reign over half the region, acting as a form of travel to the next town over, and as a form of fast-travel to previous towns, docking in nearby routes and opening up new pathways.
- Gym Leaders: Isaac & George
- Two twins with medium-long black hair, slightly dishevelled and littered with debris. Both are padded with heavy-duty mining gear from head-to-toe, and sporting a two-layered mining helmet.
- Isaac has a Prosthetic hand on his left, whilst George has one on his right. Both are able of retracting parts of their fingers on their prosthetic hands to make drills, allowing them to mine even without other equipment.
- Slumped over opposite shoulders from each other, Isaac and George both have large carry-on bags filled to the brim with unearthed metals, stones and fossils from their digs.
- The two have an eager passion for digging, and despite Isaac's reckless financial decisions, George's more careful approach to where they should dig, allows them to strike it big nearly every time, allowing the duo to pay off their large payments.
- Their behaviour also shows in battle, with George taking a more tactical approach, while Isaac opts more for brute strength, only having a few items lent to him by George to help mitigate this.
