  181. * If you have red bar (7-18 HP?), you can fight a Jr Trainer before doing this menu
  182. * If you do teach BB, use that instead of HA on boat Rival

  193. * Even without IT, Gentleman can be good. It guarantees multiple ranges (Voltorb, Venonat, Oddish/Bulbasaur), and makes it less likely for a Pika QA to kill you on Surge.
  194. - Shopping: Buy 3 Repels and 5 Para Heals
  195. - (Trade for Dux if needed)

  208. - Otherwise BB + HA (BB x2 is a range if you minroll turn 1)
  209. * Pikachu:
  210. - Thrash
  211. * Raichu:
  212. - Hitself damage rolls if you are confused:
  213. * neutral 14

  219.
  220. Cerulean City
  221.
  222. - Grab the Bike

  224. * Swap slot 3 with Bike (slot 9)
  225. * Teach TM24 in slot 3 over HA (1 up)
  226. * Use Bike
  227.
  228. Route 9
  229.
  230. - Check this paste for how to set up red bar: https://pastebin.com/HgyuMvyr
  231. * The below notes are "Normal strats," if the paste tells you to do something differently, do that if you want to set up red bar
  232. * Keep in mind that at outrageously high HPs (for example, being forced to center after Misty), it might not be worth it to get red bar in races
  233. - 4 turn thrash girl: MP, Thrash
  234. - Bug Catcher: BB, Thrash
  235.
  236. Rock Tunnel
  237.
  238. - Use Repel one step in
  239. - Maniac 1: BB, TB
  240. * WARNING: If bird is alive, you should not stall on Cubone, because if you get crit and Nido dies, Cubone cannot kill Pidgey. (In which case reset all the way back to 4 turn thrash girl or cans or whatever your last save is)
  241. - Maniac 2: TB
  242. - SAVE for oddish girl if HP < 18
  243. - Oddish Girl: Thrash (TB + Thrash is good at 18-22 HP, saving and thrashing is better at lower HPs)

  246. - Jr F: Thrash
  247. - Grab the Max Ether in the tree

  265. * 16 X Acc on Growlithe
  266. * 17+ Early Drill, X Acc on Pidgeotto
  267. - Early Drill is really good in races because it is a faster rival fight and saves a menu, you rarely need a 4th super potion (unless you go for Silph bar, it's entirely your problem if you go for it)
  268. - Shopping:
  269. * Floor 2:
  270. - Sell TM34
  271. - Sell both Nuggets
  272. - Buy TM07
  273. - Buy 10 Super Repels
  274. - Buy 4 Super Potions (3 if early Drill)

  278. * Rooftop:
  279. - Buy a Soda Pop and trade it to the girl
  280. - Buy a Fresh Water
  281. * Floor 5:
  282. - Buy 12 X Accs (13 if early Drill)
  283. - Buy 6 X Specs (5 if early Drill)
  284. - Buy 3 X Speeds
  285. - NOTE: You have extra X items that you can use for stalling and/or reviving. The route uses 3 X Speeds and 3 X Specs, and 10 X Accs (12 with early Drill). All stall strats assume you have enough X items, you will have to do alternate methods to stall if you do not have enough. Once you get the flute that is always a stalling option, just know there is almost always a faster alternative.
  286. - Take the elevator down then get HM02
  287. - MENU after getting fly:
  288. * Swap slot 2 with TM07 (slot 9)
  289. * Use Super Repel
  290. * Teach TM48 in slot 1 over MP (teach in slot 2 over Thrash if Early Drill)
  291. * (Teach TM07 in slot 1 over MP if Early Drill)
  292. * Swap slot 3 with X Accs (swap slot 2 instead if Early Drill) (slot 17/18)
  293. * Teach HM02 to bird
  294. * Fly to Lavender Town
  295.
  296. Lavender Town
  297.
  298. - Walk to Lavender Tower
  299. - Rival: TB, TB, BB, Thrash
  300. * For early Drill X Acc where appropriate, then spam HD
  301. - SAVE if all HM pokes are fainted and you will die to Night Shade (23)
  302. - Channeler 1: RS x2 (if you die revive and sacrifice bird, squirtle if no bird)
  303. - Grab both Elixers
  304. - Take heal pad
  305. - Channeler 2: RS

  309. - MENU during the ghost encounter:
  310. * Swap slot 3 with Super Repels (down 6)
  311. * Use Poke Doll (down 3)
  312. - Rocket 1: TB x3
  313. - Rocket 2: X Acc, HD x2
  314. - Rocket 3: TB, Thrash (TB spam if early Drill; Raticate is a good range with Thrash, bad range with TB)
  315. - Grab Flute then Fly to Celadon
  316.
  317. Silph
  318.
  319. - Take the center
  320. - Bike east and hand over the drink
  321. - Enter Silph, take the stairs to Floor 5
  322. - Grab the hidden Elixer
  323. - Arbok Rocket: Thrash or X Acc, HD
  324. - Grab the Key Card
  325. - DON'T GO FOR SILPH BAR (the paste has details, but seriously, it's not linked in this section because you really should not go for it in a race)
  326. - Rival:
  327. * Pidgeotto:
  328. - X Acc
  329. - Swap slot 8 (S.S. Ticket) for X Specs, X Speed
  330. * If you miss swapping X Specs, just scroll to X Speed and use it, on the Fuschia menu swap slot 7 for X Specs instead of swapping X Speeds
  331. - HD spam
  332. * RS Growlithe if early Drill
  333. - Max Ether HD before the fight if HP < 78
  334. - Rocket:
  335. * Cubone:
  336. - X Acc
  337. - If Cubone hit you turn 1 and you need to Max Ether HD, do so now
  338. - BB
  339. * Drowzee:
  340. - (Max Ether HD if haven't done so yet)
  341. - HD
  342. * Marowak: HD (can BB x2 to stall if about 100+ HP and insanely desperate)
  343. - Giovanni: X Acc, HD x2, BB, HD
  344. - Go to Floor 10 and grab TM26 and Rare Candy then Dig out
  345.
  346. Celadon City
  347.
  348. - Bike to Snorlax

  364. - Use Bike inside Safari
  365. - Super Repel again in Area 2, grab Full Restore if you ran out of Potions, grab Revive if you already used one (can skip this but that makes dying to Juggler 2 much worse)

  368. - Juggler 2:

  431.
  432. - Don't deposit extra pokes unless no pokes/Revives to revive with (bird will die on Lorelei assuming no yolo, so that does not count)

  434. - Elixer before Bruno
  435. - Bruno: X Acc, Bliz, HD x2, Bliz, HD

  440. * EQ all remaining Pokes
