  59. Kaorin Sakura: Won't be needing those tonight.
  60. Trulhammaren: check out that cloyster picture!
  61. Kaorin Sakura: I approve
  62. DNA: ahaha YES!
  63. Kaorin Sakura: Can someone ping Ava?
  64. DNA: Not sure if Skype ping works, but, *does*
  65. Trulhammaren: the best skype ping is to call and hangup
  66. DNA: If that happened, I would never notice
  67. Trulhammaren: unless they have the sound turned off with skype
  68. DNA: which I do
  69. Trulhammaren: in which case not so good
  70. Kaorin Sakura: So, to recollect:
  71. Kaorin Sakura: Chloe has 3 Pokemon.
  72. Rochette has 4 Pokemon.
  73. Saturn has 3 Pokemon.
  74. Valerie has 1 Pokemon.
  75. Kaorin Sakura: Is this correct?
  76. Trulhammaren: mmhm
  77. Lumière: I have 4
  78. Chloe: Saturn has four.
  79. Chloe: But for me, yes
  80. Natasha: Though, realistically, only 1 is used.
  81. Trulhammaren: I've seen two
  82. Finch: I resent that! I do stuff too!
  83. Avara: sorry
  84. Avara: mum was holding me up for some stuff.
  85. Chloe: Yay!
  86. DNA: Not a problem. You're just in time.
  87. Kaorin Sakura: You missed obsidian portal chat.
  88. Kaorin Sakura: You and DNA will need to make accounts and send me your username so I can invite you to the campaign.
  89. Avara: i was making a portal account when i got pulled away
  90. Avara: Rukipedia
  91. Trulhammaren: Val is giving Rochette the Rock Armor Scroll
  92. Trulhammaren: it has 3 uses
  93. Avara: what does it do?
  94. Trulhammaren: scene spell gives you medium armor for the encounter
  95. Avara: is there a dice roll associated?
  96. Kaorin Sakura: Yes.
  97. Kaorin Sakura: Intuition or Occult Edu
  98. Kaorin Sakura: To use.
  99. Trulhammaren: dc8 iirc
  100. Kaorin Sakura: Yes.
  101. Trulhammaren: will probably give the rest of the scroll to Chloe
  102. Trulhammaren: cept maybe the drain life ones
  103. Josephine Stpierre: Josephine Stpierre approaches your party after you've had the chance to purchase everything you needed.
  104. DNA: Question, that's to be read as 'St. Pierre', correct?
  105. Avara: is she the one who ran the bar/inn/place?
  106. Josephine Stpierre: Yes
  107. Josephine Stpierre: And no
  108. Avara: would we recognize her at all?
  109. Josephine Stpierre: Gloria Dance owns the Mug Orchards.
  110. Josephine St.Pierre: You haven't met her before.
  111. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe sat at the town square. She carved her appricorn balls while humming a tune and tapping the edge of her boots together.
  112. Trulhammaren whispers: Has scrolls of Daze, Vulnerability Hex, Arcane Bolt, Walking Bomb, Mind Blast (2 uses), Weakness, Heroic Offence. You two can take whatever you want. Val isn't terribly apt at using them herself, but you guys will have more success with them.
  113. Saturn Rosewell: Saturn was basically ready to go. Atop her hat was Natasha, who somehow managed to pick up a book on the Kantonese Pokemon language, and was trying to recite phrases. Of course, her tongue tripped up on a lot of the words.
  114. * Rochette is doing a few experimental motions with her new Silver Dagger when she sees Josephine St. Pierre, and looks to her. "Hello. " She'd been trying to help Saturn with learning the local Pokemon language as well, off and on.
  115. You whisper to Trulhammaren: Saturn would probably be able to use ALL of them (on account of having LV4 Intuition), though IC she'd be reluctant, and OOC I can't think of which would be the most useful for her. Will have to pore over Magus again.
  116. * Valerie Ylsef is waiting around shuffling through the handfull of scrolls she had purchased earlier.
  117. Josephine St.Pierre: "I take it you guys are the Winter Lotus who've graced my small town?"
  118. Chloe Blanchett: "Us? We are the Winter Lotus." Chloe said. The new title felt strange to admit out loud.
  119. Saturn Rosewell: "The who? Oh...oh, right."
  120. * Saturn Rosewell toyed with the white rose atop her beret for a bit.
  121. * Valerie Ylsef looks up from the scrolls and decides to plop them in her bag for later looking, these things were conciderably outside of her experiance
  122. Josephine St.Pierre: "I am Josephine St.Pierre. Fairview is a town a founded a few years back and have worked tirelessly to keep the town in good standing with the local Pokémon."
  123. Josephine St.Pierre: "I want to send you my appreciation for not bringing misfortune upon our town when you performed your investigation and personally thank you for what progress you've made in deadly disasters that are void pockets."
  124. Josephine St.Pierre: Josephine St.Pierre sets down a collection of crystals.
  125. Chronicler: You see five jewels:
  126. Aquamarine (worth 600 as a crystal)
  127. Golden Yellow Topaz (worth 600 as a crystal)
  128. Reddish brown Spinal (worth 110 as a crystal)
  129. Rich Purple Corundum (worth 900 as a crystal)
  130. Turqoise (worth 10 as a crystal)
  131. Valerie Ylsef: "Fancy."
  132. Chronicler: (( I think my loot gen died. >_> ))
  133. Chloe Blanchett: "W-wow! They're beautiful." Chloe touched her finger against the topaz.
  134. Rochette: "Thank you very much, ma'am."
  135. DNA: Define 'died'.
  136. Chronicler: (( It's lagging ))
  137. Chronicler: Chronicler also sets down a collection of randomly assorted items.
  138. Josephine St.Pierre: Josephine St.Pierre also sets down a collection of randomly assorted items.
  139. DNA: Load faster, Wikipedia; I want to look something up!
  140. Chronicler: A small vial of Perfume (worth 30 as materials - general edu)
  141. Silver Cloth Pennant with no particular bearings (worth 600 as materials)
  142. Chronicler: (( Last two items ))
  143. Chloe Blanchett: "Can I have the Topaz and the Perfume?" Chloe asked, hesitation in her voice.
  144. Avara: gen edu 8
  145. Avara: ... meant to GM that.
  146. Chronicler: Carved Wooden Staff studded with Bronze (Create a staff using weaponcrafting and increase its value by 4000)
  147. Marble Vase set with Amethyst (worth 1600 as materials)
  148. DNA: ...what are the restraints on the taking of these items?
  149. Chronicler: These items are just being given to you guys.
  150. Chloe Blanchett: ((Pictures Amethyst holding up a Marble Vase))
  151. DNA: a, haha, hahahahaha
  152. DNA: Wait, really? Wow. ALL of the loot!?
  153. Josephine St.Pierre: "I do hope these trinkets will do you well. By your mere presence in our small unremarkable town you've bestowed us a great many things. We wish you best on your travels."
  154. Chronicler: The town is now rich with wealth. You kinda walked in and tripled the community wealth.
  155. Trulhammaren: staff value pre weaponizing
  156. Trulhammaren: ?
  157. DNA: a, hahaha...
  158. Avara: ha. wow~.
  159. Chronicler: The staff is a weapon. Just a basic one.
  160. Chronicler: It doesn't do anything special. It just hits people.
  161. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe lifted the Perfume and sprayed some against her wrist to smell it.
  162. Rochette: "Thank you again, ma'am."
  163. Josephine St.Pierre: "You're quite welcome. Should you come visit my town again come find me. I'll make sure your stay is a comfortable one."
  164. Trulhammaren: so if we use it with weapon crafting it increases the value of the resulting creation?
  165. Saturn Rosewell: "...ah. Th-thanks." Her voice was quiet, as if she didn't really want to be thrust into a limelight like this.
  166. Avara: i think it meant the current value is roughly 10k.
  167. Chronicler: It is a weapon already, with +4000 value.
  168. Trulhammaren: gotcha
  169. Avara: or more. i... one moment while i look it up
  170. Avara: 2h weapon i presume?
  171. Chronicler: Yes.
  172. Avara: yes, value is 10k
  173. Saturn Rosewell: The Wand is the 1H equivalent
  174. Josephine St.Pierre: "But I won't keep you any longer. Be safe out there." Josephine St.Pierre waves goodbye to all of you before returning back toward her home.
  175. Chloe Blanchett: "Thanks for all the help! I look forward to when I can visit again!"
  176. Rochette: "Hmm..." Rochette looks at the stuff, waiting until they're on the road out of town to speak. "Does anybody want to hold onto these until we find a use for them?"
  177. Chloe Blanchett: "I can for now.
  178. Rochette: "Alright."
  179. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe held her perfume scented wrist to Saturn, "Want to smell?"
  180. Saturn Rosewell: "Uh...I guess so? I'm not really a perfume person, myself..."
  181. Chloe Blanchett: (no idea the scent)
  182. * Saturn Rosewell takes a really quick sniff. Really quick. Probably the length of a blink.
  183. Chloe Blanchett: "I'm not either, but I have to start somewhere."
  184. Chloe Blanchett: "Hm~ Maybe I can learn to make perfume." Chloe put the perfume away in her backpack.
  185. Chronicler: A sandalwood fragrance that smells remarkably warm like fig, yet also light and earthy .
  186. Valerie Ylsef: "So...to Esterhedge?"
  187. Rochette: "Indeed."
  188. Saturn Rosewell: "Probably, yeah. Sooner the better."
  189. Chronicler: So I should guess that you guys are moving toward Esterhedge?
  190. Avara: yes, as per the previously agreed-upon route
  191. * Valerie Ylsef unless stopped begins to walk in a south westerly direction!
  192. Chronicler: I have no idea what route that is.
  193. Chronicler: Remind me.
  194. Chloe Blanchett: southwest
  195. DNA: Esterhedge, then Vertwyvern, along the main path.
  196. Avara: esterhedge. either vartwyvern or the nearby corner to saffron
  197. DNA: Will decide what to do from there, but either way, the jobs will be hit along the way.
  198. Avara: celadon, saffron, resort, vermillion
  199. Avara: from there, a boat
  200. Avara: that's the present plan, subject to change
  201. Chronicler: So you're taking the main road from Fairview to Esterhedge at this time?
  202. Avara: yes
  203. DNA: Indeed.
  204. DNA: Ah, no job in Esterhedge, that's right. We were going to gather info.
  205. Avara: yes.
  206. Avara: vartwyvern has the plague problem, i believe.
  207. Avara: which is why we have an optional path around
  208. Trulhammaren: ^
  209. Chloe Blanchett: The main road looks like a straight line.
  210. Trulhammaren: off road route if we don't like what we hear about plaugeville
  211. DNA: Yep.
  212. Chronicler: Aha! I just got the hang of this new encounter generator.
  213. Chronicler: ...
  214. Chronicler: Okay no, I'm gonna share this in Skype.
  215. Avara: for the log: the encounter generator NARROWLY rolls an eventless walk to ester
  216. Chronicler: The party finds a very long but very peaceful stroll from Fairview to Esterhedge. The walk is uneventful and consumes only the afternoon. You arrive at Esterhedge just as night falls.
  217. DNA: 1-72 (out of 100) had some form of encounter, and the generator gave us a 73! Whoo!
  218. Chronicler: The town is almost twice the size of Fairview though despite that only two of the buildings appear to be shops (unlike Fairview's 3). This town has a stonewall surrounding the entire place with only entrances at the eastern and western side of town. Both gates are guarded by a Spearman and a Bowman that eyes you suspiciously as you enter town but they don't prevent you from doing so.
  219. * Saturn Rosewell kept her eyes on both of them, but her head did sink a bit, like she didn't really want to be looking at them.
  220. Chronicler: The town has the shops in the direct center of town with a collection of large homes around it (5 in total). The houses are made out of wood while the shops are made out of stone. There's a set of stables at both gates. As you enter in from the eastern gate, you see that the stables houses a collection of Mightyena - they appear happy and content until you arrive which then they watch you suspiciously.
  221. Chronicler: (( End description. ))
  222. Valerie Ylsef: "Cheery place."
  223. Saturn Rosewell: Intuition to sense what they're thinking: .
  224. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe enjoyed the walk, as she usually did. Nothing like the sound and smell of nature when it didn't try to kill you at all.
  225. Chloe Blanchett: "They're probably used to pokemon attacks. Fortification, trained guards, pokemon stables..."
  226. Saturn Rosewell: "Wait! What if... What if that Ninetales came through here?"
  227. Saturn Rosewell: "Maybe that's why they're so on edge?"
  228. Valerie Ylsef: "Could be, though I'm pretty sure none of us look like pokemon....just sayin."
  229. Saturn Rosewell: "No, not at all. Maybe they're just suspicious of new faces?"
  230. DNA: GM, anything on the intuition roll yet?
  231. Chronicler: (( Missed it. Soz. ))
  232. DNA: it's 'k
  233. Chloe Blanchett: "I saw two shops, but no Inn."
  234. Chronicler whispers: You're unable to sense what it is they're thinking but they're obviously suspicious of you. Most likely wary about your intentions as you're strangers to their home.
  235. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: ...my roll was that bad, huh?
  236. Chronicler: Indeed. This town does not have an inn. Or any place that has a brewery.
  237. Chronicler whispers: It was a 14. You can't read minds withotu Telepathy. Intutiion allows you to pick up intents and the like. They're merely wary of you because you're new.
  238. Chloe Blanchett: "I'm going to check out what they have for sale. Fairview was a bit lacking..." She looked over the two stores to determine what either of them specialized in.
  239. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Ohhhhhhhhh. I see. It's just that it sounded unusually vague for a result.
  240. Saturn Rosewell: "...I'm going to go look around for information. See who looks to be the most in-the-know."
  241. Valerie Ylsef: "Well, I'd guess the storefront is probably the best place for information gathering outside of a pub."
  242. Chronicler: There are two shops. Mighty Grotto and Baducci's Tail. The former speicalizes in Pokémon Equipment while the latter specializes in Weapons.
  243. DNA: Define 'Pokemon equipment'
  244. Chronicler: Pokemon Education craftables. You know them typically as Held Items, Keepsakes, Evolution Stones, etc.
  245. DNA: Ah, okay.
  246. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe's head tilted at the sight of the two, "Hrm, really? I guess Might Grotto looks like the most general store."
  247. Valerie Ylsef: "Unless anyone objects I'm gonna see if I can dump this staff off."
  248. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe went inside.
  249. * Saturn Rosewell will go to whatever store/place looks to have the most knowledgeable shopkeep/individual.
  250. Chronicler: The Mighty Grotto is a two-floor shop loaded with an assortment of wares on both floors. The shop owner appears to be imbewing a regular stone with aura while someone else is going around cleaning the store.
  251. DNA: imbuing
  252. Avara: so... the city has two shops, a lot of security, some houses, the stables... does not seem like there's a great many options at present.
  253. DNA: reminds me of Border Town in Golden Sun 3
  254. DNA: ...awk-ward...
  255. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe walked up to the one cleaning, "Excuse me? I'm looking for some general trade goods, such as paper or writing instraments. Would this be where I can find such things?"
  256. * Trulhammaren is gonna try and sell the staff at the weapon shop
  257. Joseph Charley: Joseph Charley stops cleaning and turns to Chloe and shakes his head.
  258. Chloe Blanchett: "Oh, is there anywhere in town that might?"
  259. Joseph Charley: "Sorry, gal. Our town don't offer those things to passerby's. We've got a pretty bad reputation see, so we don't like to have people stay in town long."
  260. Chloe Blanchett: "Ah...I haven't heard anything about that. Did something happen here?"
  261. Joseph Charley: "Not sure exactly how, but people seem to think we hate Pokémon."
  262. Joseph Charley: "We don't hate Pokemon at all. But, I guess when we're not far from Fairview and we don't exactly befriend the entire local Pokemon community like they do, we could be seen that way."
  263. Saturn Rosewell: "...They befriend the entire local Pokemon community? That seems odd to me. They didn't have any Pokemon in their borders, not that I saw."
  264. Chloe Blanchett: "I did notice that difference..." Chloe shifted, "But I thought that was because this town had the resources Fairview didn't."
  265. Joseph Charley: "I'm not sure what different resources we have compared to them but we hunt what we need and build what we need to live. Basic stuff really."
  266. Joseph Charley: "But, I suppose the different between us and most other places is that my wife is an expert on Pokémon so she's able to create things people dig for."
  267. Joseph Charley: "You might've seen her creating a Dawn Stone when you walked in."
  268. Chloe Blanchett: "I did! It was impressive."
  269. Chloe Blanchett: "Are there any groups of pokemon that give you trouble? Sorry to ask so many questions, but conflict goes both ways and we met a bounty hunter looking for some rather rough, murderous sorts not to far not to long ago."
  270. Joseph Charley: "Ah, must've been Mister Reginald. He came through here two days ago looking for some quarry of his."
  271. Saturn Rosewell: "...Yeah, that's the guy."
  272. Chloe Blanchett: "Ah! That was him." Chloe smiled and nodded in eager agreement.
  273. Rochette: "Mm..." Rochette looks to Saturn. "I'm thinking I'll take a walk outside town. There's nowhere for us to sleep here, I can't really buy anything right now. I might be able to find a usable shelter."
  274. Saturn Rosewell: "...Do you need me to come with?"
  275. Rochette: "Nah. Just figured I should tell someone. With what Mister Reginald said, probably best to go stealthy."
  276. Joseph Charley: "Not particularly any groups of Pokémon. We hunt them for materials and food so none of the local Pokémon like us much. We managed to acquire a Miltank and we're hoping to breed her so we can have our own local milk supply. Problem is getting her to breed with anyone."
  277. Saturn Rosewell: "Gotcha. I'll stay with Chloe."
  278. Joseph Charley: "If you need a place to stay try talking to my wife."
  279. * Rochette is going to head out of town. Is there any option for sneaky surveillance?
  280. Chronicler: Combination of Stealth for sneaky and Perception for surveying.
  281. Chloe Blanchett: "Oh... Well thank you! I will take you up on that. I wouldn't mind meeting with the one trying to breed your miltank, pokemon breeding sounds interesting to learn."
  282. Avara: Stealth.
  283. Avara: Perception.
  284. Avara: ((... ah, add 2 to the stealth check. forgot ability bonus))
  285. DNA: Infiltrator?
  286. Avara: yes
  287. DNA: so good
  288. Valerie Ylsef: "I'm gonna go to that other shop, if you gals need me holler."
  289. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe continues to browse the store, waiting for Rochette to come back with news on possible campgrounds.
  290. * Valerie Ylsef heads out to the Baducci's Tail
  291. Chloe Blanchett: "Take care Valerie!"
  292. Chronicler: Should I list both stores wares?
  293. Chloe Blanchett: ((Sure!)
  294. Valerie Ylsef: ^
  295. Chronicler: Mighty Grotto has the following for sale:
  296. Big Root
  297. Evolution Stones
  298. Eviolite
  299. Focus Band
  300. Lax Incense
  301. Life Orb
  302. Razor Claw
  303. Stat Boosters
  304. Type Boosters
  305. Mega Stones
  306. Mega Accessories
  307. Rare Leek
  308. Thick Club
  309. Reaper Cloth
  310. Whipped Dream
  311. Heart Booster
  312. DNA: Damn son, that generator.
  313. Chronicler: Baducci's Tail specializes in weaponry so their selection is small but notable.
  314. Chronicler: The first weapon is a +2 Accurate Greataxe that was crafted before the calamity by Gary Oak. This weapon costs 4500.
  315. Chloe Blanchett: ((If I purchase a mega stone now, can I define the mega evolution later?))
  316. Chronicler: (( Yes ))
  317. DNA: Hm, maybe I could get one for a Mega Victi-...I'll be quiet.
  318. Chronicler: The second weapon is a Ghost Touch Minor Normalcy Synergy Minor Crossbow created during the calamity by an unknown smith for a cavalry leader that died to the horde. It costs 5400.
  319. Chronicler: The third weapon is a Vampyric Longsword said to have been stolen from the crypt of the vampire Rhanaro. It costs 7200.
  320. Chronicler: The fourth weapon is a War Sound Longsword, ornate in design. It costs 3600.
  321. Chronicler: The fifth and final weapon is a Dragonfelling Nunchaku said to have been created to Dragon of Esterhedge during the founding of the town. It costs 3000.
  322. Avara: damnit.
  323. Chronicler: (( To defeat the Dragon* ))
  324. Avara: i have 0 pokedollars and all of these look neat
  325. DNA: I have money; I can buy you one.
  326. Chloe Blanchett: ((We can lend money))
  327. Trulhammaren: is trying to sell the staff, so might be able to get money or trade
  328. Trulhammaren: as the staff is pretty useless to us as a whole
  329. * Valerie Ylsef takes a good look around before walking up to whoever looks to be in charge with the staff in hand
  330. Neko Jumper: "Welcome to Baducci's Tail. I'm Neko Jumper, the owner. Just call me Neko - not fond of formalities. What can I do for you?"
  331. Valerie Ylsef: "So, here's the deal I got this fancy looking stick here and would like to sell this to you."
  332. * Valerie Ylsef holds up the staff for him to look at it
  333. Neko Jumper: "Hrm, hrm. Let's see..."
  334. Neko Jumper: Neko Jumper will buy that item from you at 20% of its total value.
  335. Valerie Ylsef: "Hmmmm..."
  336. * Rochette heads back to the town after her searching is done, thinking.
  337. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe went up to the woman making evolutionary stones, "Excuse me. I noticed you have mega evolution stones, do you have to make them attuned to a pokemon, or do you attune them to a pokemon after they are made?"
  338. Valerie Ylsef: "I'll think on it, gotta confer with my companions, I'll be back for certain."
  339. May Charley: "Welcome to Mighty Grotto. And I attune them as needed. If I premade them we wouldn't be able to make very much money."
  340. Chloe Blanchett: "Y-yeah, that does make a lot of sense. I have a pokemon who could use a mega stone. Do you mind if I release her inside? She's not large."
  341. May Charley: "That would be fine. You'll need to purchase the blank Mega Stone before I attune it, however."
  342. * Valerie Ylsef wanders into the Mighty Grotto, and waits for Chloe to finish her shopping before interrupting.
  343. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe choses a pretty looking stone to use~
  344. Chloe Blanchett: And releases Vorpal into the room.
  345. Vorpal: "Bzzzt."
  346. May Charley: "That is...a very interesting - Beedrill - I think?"
  347. May Charley: "A Mega Stone will cost you 5000."
  348. Chloe Blanchett: "It's an underground variety." Chloe thought, "Aren't they usually cheaper than that? Does this come with something special?"
  349. May Charley: "Mega Stones are normally 5000."
  350. Chloe Blanchett: ((my char sheet says 2500... hm))
  351. May Charley: (( I never added it to the character sheet. ))
  352. May Charley: (( You must've input that yourself. ))
  353. Chloe Blanchett: ((I have input nothing. I have no idea how or where to input stuff))
  354. May Charley: (( Let me double check the BC. ))
  355. DNA: Testing this myself...
  356. Valerie Ylsef: ((its in teh char sheet))
  357. DNA: Comes up as 2500 on mine too.
  358. Trulhammaren: ^
  359. DNA: Mega Ring is still at 12000, though.
  360. May Charley: (( Hmm, I didn't add it to the BC sheet either. ))
  361. May Charley: (( How much BP has the Mega Stones been going for? ))
  362. Trulhammaren: they haven't?
  363. May Charley: (( How have people been buying them then? ))
  364. Trulhammaren: only gotten via boss and sims
  365. Trulhammaren: afaik
  366. May Charley: I didn't list it on the sim either.
  367. May Charley: (( Weird. We'll go with 2500 then. ))
  368. DNA: In the topic about sims it does list it as a reward for a sim. I think it was in a GDoc too regardless, but not a big deal.
  369. May Charley: (( That just strikes me as odd as hell considering that's cheaper than an evolution stone. ))
  370. Chloe Blanchett: ((We can change, I just thought I was IC getting ripped off. It is a powerful held item))
  371. * Trulhammaren is gonna check if he has a price next to the one Teula has
  372. May Charley: (( We'll stick with 2500 for now. ))
  373. May Charley: So, assume May said 2500 and not 5000.
  374. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe pays the 2500 happily!
  375. May Charley: May Charley looks intently upon the selected Mega Stone and then stares at Vorpal so hard she could burn a hole through it with just her gaze. After a moment, the stone begins to radiate a glow and she hands Chloe the stone, "All done. It will now only work for that breed of Pokémon."
  376. Chloe Blanchett: "Thank you thank you! I may be back later." Chloe looks for Rochette and the others.
  377. Chronicler: Valerie is right behind you.
  378. Valerie Ylsef: "Cool, how does one learn to do that?"
  379. Chronicler: I assume you're talking to May? Also brb, gettin' juice.
  380. Valerie Ylsef: ((yes))
  381. DNA: brb getting raisins
  382. * Rochette is in town, so shouldn't be too hard to find.
  383. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe heads outside, leaving Valerie with May. "Rochette? Hey! Rochette!" Chloe waved and walked over.
  384. * Saturn Rosewell was hanging about Chloe, though not doing much
  385. Rochette: "Ah... yeah? No luck finding anywhere we could sleep outside."
  386. Chronicler: (( Actually quick break. I wanna hit up a store for some much needed coffee. : 3 ))
  387. Chronicler: (( Snack run okay? ))
  388. Rochette: ((sounds good.))
  389. DNA: is cool, we can probably chat it up while we wait.
  390. Valerie Ylsef: ((tis fine))
  391. Chronicler: (( I can stay up late tonight so no worries about ending in an hour. ))
  392. DNA: whoo
  393. * DNA also doesn't have class tomorrow either! Happy day!
  394. * Trulhammaren never has anything! Happy Day?
  395. * Avara is in the same boat as trul
  396. Avara: just lots of games
  397. Trulhammaren: lots of baby for me
  398. Trulhammaren: she is demanding more and more attention as of late
  399. Trulhammaren: mostly cause she can crawl now
  400. Chloe Blanchett: ping
  401. DNA: zing!
  402. Trulhammaren: pong
  403. Avara: hi
  404. Chronicler: Excellent. Sorry about the delay. They were restocking. TZ_TZ
  405. May Charley: "It's a trade I picked up when I began studying Pokémon before the calamity. It didn't have much use back then."
  406. Valerie Ylsef: "Neato."
  407. Chloe Blanchett: "Hey Rochette, did you find anything?"
  408. Valerie Ylsef: "Looks like Chloe left, thanks and stuff."
  409. May Charley: "These tools are just knowing how Pokémon work and ensuring they serve their purpose."
  410. Rochette: "Nothing at all, no."
  411. May Charley: "Not a problem."
  412. * Valerie Ylsef heads outside.
  413. May Charley: "Oh, before you go."
  414. May Charley: "And she's gone...so fast."
  415. * Valerie Ylsef unheads outside
  416. Chloe Blanchett: "I may have a lead." CHloe went back in, perhaps catching Valerie on the way out
  417. May Charley: "Ah! Thank you!"
  418. May Charley: "Oh, both of you. Good. I can see you're both of the same group so this makes things easy."
  419. May Charley: "To prevent our town from looking weak no one will ask for help of this but it is a serious concern."
  420. Chloe Blanchett: "Oh yes, there are four of us."
  421. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe got closer to the counter to listen.
  422. May Charley: "Our town doctor has fled."
  423. Joseph Charley: "May, you're making us sound like we kidnapped him."
  424. May Charley: "A-Ah, right. Sorry."
  425. May Charley: "I suppose I should start from the beginning."
  426. May Charley: "Doctor Norman Harkness was married to a shy girl named Cherrel Harkness."
  427. May Charley: "They came to our town about a month ago and decided to settle down - Cherrel was pregnant you see and couldn't travel well. She was expecting to give birth soon."
  428. May Charley: "We didn't have any doctors and our medical knowledge was quite limited so we welcomed him with open arms and he was a glorious asset."
  429. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe smiled in quiet congratulations, but didn't interrupt.
  430. May Charley: "Unfortunately, however, when Cherrel gave birth she didn't survive and Norman began to grieve."
  431. Chloe Blanchett: She quickly frowned.
  432. May Charley: "Within a nights time, Cherrel's body had vanished, as well as Norman and his newly born."
  433. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe's mouth was covered.
  434. May Charley: "We aren't upset with Norman at all. He had just lost his loving wife at the same time of becoming a father but we're worried about him."
  435. * Valerie Ylsef raises her eyebrow
  436. Chloe Blanchett: "How recent was all this? He came here a month ago, when did he leave?"
  437. May Charley: "If you happen to come across Doctor Norman could you please convince him to return to Esterhedge?"
  438. May Charley: "It was the night before Mister Reginald visited so, a little over two days ago?"
  439. Valerie Ylsef: "That's sounds doable."
  440. Joseph Charley: "We assume he buried Cherrel somewhere nearby and is taking care of his newborn alone. That prevents him from traveling far in two days time."
  441. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe nodded in agreement. With a pause's width she spoke again, "I wanted to ask you about a place to stay. We scouted the area for campgrounds but didn't find anyplace. This town looks like it is our only option this late."
  442. May Charley: "We don't get friendly visitors so we stopped allowing people to stay overnight."
  443. Joseph Charley: "Honestly, we're just trying to live our life like anyone else after the calamity. And yet people come here barking at us on how wrong we are. Some of these people were even violent about their views."
  444. Valerie Ylsef: "My uncle had a saying."
  445. Valerie Ylsef: "People be stupid and they like to share." She imiates a very very very deep southern accent.
  446. Joseph Charley: "Our founder thought it would be best to keep our supplies to ourselves and only sell things people would need on short-term. Nothing of particular value such as tools or lodging. Or anything that could influence anyone like drugs or alcohol."
  447. Chloe Blanchett: "I see... how long ago was this place founded?"
  448. May Charley: "It sort of isolates us because people don't enjoy coming through here and are unable to stay - but our gates haven't once been closed."
  449. Joseph Charley: "Seven years ago, but Mr.Jones McAvery."
  450. Joseph Charley: (( by* ))
  451. Chloe Blanchett: "After the calamity, that kind of thing was the best thing to do. To care about yourself and your community. Maybe now that the world is safer, it might be worth reconsidering. Now that most travelers are spenders, not takers." Chloe mused out loud, "But values are also good to live by, I don't judge."
  452. Valerie Ylsef: "Well if it helps any we aren't planning to stay long, we are on the way to....Vertwyvern to solve their 'plauge' issues."
  453. May Charley: "That being said, however, you can stay here overnight. Just be sure to send Mr.Norman back home if you come across him."
  454. Valerie Ylsef: "If we see him, we most definately shall."
  455. Chloe Blanchett: "And if he has reasons not to, I'll be sure to write a letter saying why."
  456. Joseph Charley: "Ah, the plague? Yeah, we'd seen it appear on the notice boards."
  457. Joseph Charley: "We generally are only on a need-to-know basis on things like that. That'd be best to ask the guards or Mr.Norman himself."
  458. Rochette: "That was my plan, once shopping was done."
  459. Joseph Charley: "Need-to-know being we're only told what we need to for our safety to prevent unnecessary distress among the town."
  460. May Charley: "Mr.Norman lives in the smallest house by the western gate if you want to visit him."
  461. Chloe Blanchett: ((Isn't he the one who ran off? Or did I miss something?))
  462. May Charley: (( Shit yes ))
  463. May Charley: (( She meant Mr.Jones. ))
  464. May Charley: (( NAMES ))
  465. Rochette: "Probably best to check with the guards first."
  466. Valerie Ylsef: "Alright, thanks a bunch for that."
  467. Chloe Blanchett: "And about a place to stay?"
  468. May Charley: "...I said you could stay here overnight."
  469. Rochette: "Thank you. Probably got missed in the flurry of doctor-related information."
  470. Chloe Blanchett: "O-oh! Sorry... I've been learning a lot today."
  471. Joseph Charley: "At least I won't have to worry about any of you flirting with my wife."
  472. May Charley: "Be nice, Joe."
  473. Chloe Blanchett: "Ahaha..." Chloe laughed sheepishly, still a little embarassed.
  474. Valerie Ylsef: "I wouldn't be so sure." Valerie gives a super overexaggerated wink.
  475. Joseph Charley: Joseph Charley's left eyebrow twitches at Valerie's actions and rubs between his eyes.
  476. May Charley: "Joe's not much of a joker. He's always so serious. Don't mind him."
  477. Valerie Ylsef: "Ah well. Oh yah! Chloe I need your help."
  478. Chloe Blanchett: "Hm? What is it?
  479. Valerie Ylsef: "Went over to the other shop to sell that staff, the price he gave seemed a little shallow, thought maybe you might have enough business sense to manage a trade. They had some pretty interesting weapons over there."
  480. Chloe Blanchett: "I can try..." Chloe said, willing to follow Valerie to the nextdoor shop.
  481. * Valerie Ylsef leads the way!
  482. Valerie Ylsef: "I'm back!"
  483. Gabrielle Jumper: "Ah! Welcome back, m'lady."
  484. Gabrielle Jumper: "You'll need to excuse Neko, he just went to the jon. He'll be back in a bit."
  485. Gabrielle Jumper: "In the meantime, anything I can assist you two fine ladies with?"
  486. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe looked at Gabrielle in shock.
  487. Chloe Blanchett: "I think my friend was trying to tell something." Chloe said.
  488. Valerie Ylsef: "Oh yah!" Valerie holds up the staff. "I got a price on this and we were wondering if perhaps a trade might benefit us more."
  489. Valerie Ylsef: "Us being the collective us, as is both parties."
  490. Gabrielle Jumper: "Well, honey we have the standard purchasing rule of 20% of an items value. Ain't the best but people ain't exactly made of money."
  491. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe thought on that a bit, "Hm... what if we gave it in for store credit? This is a weapon's store, and this is a weapon. And one well designed for further enchanting if I'm not mistaken. You get the staff, we buy what we want. Even if you took it for something as high as 50%, you would lose no wealth and only make a profit off of it." Chloe tried her best at bartering. Using Skill expert to roll twice and take the higher of her two charm rolls!
  492. Chloe Blanchett: Charm 14
  493. Chloe Blanchett: ((forgot to GM))
  494. Chloe Blanchett: Charm
  495. Chloe Blanchett: Charm
  496. Chloe Blanchett: Those two
  497. Gabrielle Jumper: Gabrielle Jumper rubs her chin as she thought about Chloe's suggestion.
  498. Gabrielle Jumper: "Aaaaaalright. That doesn't sound like a bad deal."
  499. Gabrielle Jumper: "But, store credit and anything of it you don't spend you don't get back as cash or carryover. Sound fair?"
  500. Chloe Blanchett: "That sounds perfect!"
  501. Chloe Blanchett: "And if you don't mind me asking, how do you get your hair like that? It's beautiful, I almost tripped walking in!" Chloe laughed, blushing a little.
  502. Gabrielle Jumper: "Like what? I just comb it."
  503. Chloe Blanchett: "Jealous~" Chloe whined.
  504. Gabrielle Jumper: (( Anyone need a recap of the weapons? ))
  505. DNA: Already posted a recap for those who want it in the Skype window.
  506. Gabrielle Jumper: (( Noice ))
  507. DNA: 3100
  508. DNA: Net loss of 3100 monies due to store credit.
  509. Gabrielle Jumper: Add 500 to that.
  510. * Valerie Ylsef digs out the remainder of the money needed
  511. DNA: So...3600? Where'd the extra 500?
  512. Gabrielle Jumper: She said the trade-in amount wouldn't carry over.
  513. DNA: ...oh, it's ammo, right?
  514. Gabrielle Jumper: So, it's up to 5000 toward a purchase.
  515. Chloe Blanchett: So just one weapon.
  516. Gabrielle Jumper: The most expensive of the two is 4500. So the trade in works for that one.
  517. DNA: Oh, you meant ONE purchase
  518. DNA: not a transaction.
  519. Gabrielle Jumper: Yes.
  520. Valerie Ylsef: ((accurate, I'll buy war sound))
  521. Valerie Ylsef: ((no worries))
  522. DNA: Ah well. Not a huge deal.
  523. DNA: Gary's Accurate +2 Greataxe, and War Sound Longsword, GET!
  524. Gabrielle Jumper: Gabrielle Jumper takes the staff and the cash before handing off the +2 Accurate Greataxe and War Sound Longsword.
  525. Valerie Ylsef: "Thank you very much!"
  526. Saturn Rosewell: "...hey guys, what's the plan?" Saturn had been hanging around outside, not doing a whole lot, and thus wasn't fully in the loop.
  527. Rochette: "We have a place to sleep for tonight. There's a doctor we need to keep an eye out for who might be in deep issues emotionally."
  528. Rochette: "We need to talk to the guards or town founder to get info on Vertwyvern."
  529. Saturn Rosewell: "...A doctor, and a place to stay. Got it. Can we find the town founder easily?"
  530. Rochette: "We were told where his house is."
  531. Valerie Ylsef: "Small house, to the west."
  532. Valerie Ylsef: "I vote to bug the big wig, they usually have more accurate info anyway."
  533. Saturn Rosewell: "...I wouldn't have said 'bug', but...point taken."
  534. Rochette: "I'd go to the guards first, but if you want to deal with the founder that's fine."
  535. Saturn Rosewell: "...We might end up running into the founder in the course of things anyway, since the town is small. And we might as well introduce ourselves early on, right?"
  536. Valerie Ylsef: "My Uncle always said. 'Don't bother with the small fry, when the big fish is right next door."
  537. Valerie Ylsef: "And yes, my Uncle always said a lot of things."
  538. Chloe Blanchett: "Though we might want to be careful. This is an isolationist town, and it is by his designs."
  539. Saturn Rosewell: "...which is why we should introduce ourselves sooner than later."
  540. Saturn Rosewell: "That's my opinion, anyway..."
  541. Chronicler: People are doing what?
  542. Rochette: (all visiting mayoral isolationlord)
  543. Saturn Rosewell: I want to go talk to the founder, preferably with anothe rparty member.
  544. DNA: lol mayoral isolationlord
  545. Trulhammaren: I shall be going to ^ dude
  546. Chronicler: You can follow the directions granted by May to reach the McAvery residence.
  547. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe is letting others lead for now. Being as reclusive as she normally is, the investigation so far has taken a lot out of her.
  548. Chronicler: You notice that it's the least well-kept and the smallest home in town.
  549. * Saturn Rosewell is a bit more towards the front, as she felt a bit strongly about this, but wasn't too far ahead as to distance herself from the others.
  550. * Valerie Ylsef leads the way and prompty knocks on the door.
  551. Chronicler: After a few moments you can hear a "I'm coming, I'm coming" and heavy footsteps leading to the door.
  552. Jones McAvery: The door opens and reveals quite possibly the youngest person, outside of your own group, that you've seen to date. Well, youngest adult.
  553. DNA: I recognize that portrait from somewhere
  554. Valerie Ylsef: "Well, Hello....there.....not what I was expecting....."
  555. Jones McAvery: He looks your group over briefly and quickly tires of seeing all of you, "Yes? What brings you to my home?" He quickly slips a cigarette into his mouth and lights it, taking a deep puff of it, though respectfully breathes it downwind away from you all.
  556. Jones McAvery: He looks to be 25 years old.
  557. Valerie Ylsef: "Well, we are collectively known as The White Lotus, and we were told that you might have some information we are seeking, plus never hurts to introduce oneself to a founder."
  558. * Saturn Rosewell whispers 'Winter Lotus'
  559. Valerie Ylsef: "Winter Lotus, my apologies. I'm pretty bad with names."
  560. Jones McAvery: "Winter Lotus? What's that? Your title as dungeon delvers? Look, I'm not particularly interested in meeting every passerby that sets foot in my town so - let's move onto the information you want. What is it? And I reserve the right to not disclose it." By this point Jones McAvery was already half-done his cigarette.
  561. Saturn Rosewell: "One question I had was about Vertwyvern and the nature of the plague they face, though my companions have more questions besides."
  562. Valerie Ylsef: "Alright fine then, no cookies for you....." Valerie says under her breath
  563. * Natasha threw a small pebble at Valerie, with a look of slight disapproval.
  564. Jones McAvery: Jones McAvery only quickly glances to Valerie before looking to Saturn, "Vertwyvern's plague I can disclose. I'd definitely feel more comfortable if something can be done there so it at least won't hit here. I'd rather not have to move my whole town."
  565. * Valerie Ylsef is hardly phased
  566. Saturn Rosewell: "We're on the way to try and remove it, if possible. Any info you have would be appreciated."
  567. Jones McAvery: "I'll tell you now that it's not something modern medicine can combat. Norman visited that place when the disease first sprung and he was able to treat some of the people there but was only able to delay the disease. Everyone there who got infected was hit full force sooner or later. The disease isn't natural as far as I know. I had to pull Norman out of there before he got sick himself. You know how stupid doctors can be when people are in need. His wife was pregnant for God's sake - he couldn't risk infecting her too."
  568. Jones McAvery: "But, I'm not a fool. Something needs to be done there. If that town dies to that disease it'll only be a matter of time before it's carried to nearby towns. And we're only a day's march away."
  569. Saturn Rosewell: "If it were something modern medicine could cure, it wouldn't be a big enough deal to post on a bulletin board, now would it?"
  570. Saturn Rosewell: "Do you know how the disease spreads? Its symptoms? Tell-tale signs?"
  571. Rochette: "Any suspicious or worthwhile rumors from people heading into town from that direction that you can disclose?"
  572. Jones McAvery: "I have a letter. Just a moment." Jones McAvery returns into his home briefly.
  573. Jones McAvery: Jones McAvery returns and begins reading from a letter.
  574. Jones McAvery: "Norman affectionally called the disease Firesong. He deduced that it's generally transmitted by vermin or insects suspects that it may be in the water source. The disease is spread by contact and has a very short lifespan outside of a hospitable environment. A warm and moist environment."
  575. * Saturn Rosewell takes out a notebook and prepares to record it.
  576. Jones McAvery: "It's symptoms include fever, searing muscular pains, clenching of the throat and possible choking, fatigue and potentially death. It's believed that the disease has an incubation period of 24 hours."
  577. Valerie Ylsef: "Well there goes my theory of metal poisoning."
  578. Saturn Rosewell: "Spread by contact, warm and moist environment, connected to pests... incubation period of 24 hours...."
  579. * Saturn Rosewell didn't miss a detail.
  580. Valerie Ylsef: "All things considered that sound most unpleasant."
  581. Saturn Rosewell: "It would take a whole day for symptoms to start appearing, so there would be quite a few carriers that didn't even know it."
  582. Saturn Rosewell: "But he said it could be in the water supply too."
  583. Chloe Blanchett: "All of that sounds possible for a mundane disease... what makes this so special?"
  584. Jones McAvery: Jones McAvery looks around before inviting The Winter Lotus into his home. He steps inside and leaves the door slightly ajar for you to follow.
  585. * Saturn Rosewell had the feeling Jones knew more than he was letting on. She proceeded, close by Valerie.
  586. Valerie Ylsef: "Alrighty then!"
  587. * Valerie Ylsef walks on in
  588. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe stepped in as well.
  589. * Rochette walks in and closes the door.
  590. * Natasha was enthralled with the conversation, listening intently atop Saturn's hat.
  591. Jones McAvery: Jones McAvery steps into his house sits down on the floor. As he leans back a Large sized Mightyena quickly lies down on the floor behind him so that he rests against it. You notice that this house has no chairs or tables. Only discarded raw materials and unfinished bows, spears and arrows.
  592. * Saturn Rosewell is content to stand.
  593. Jones McAvery: "Norman had an confided in me many theories about this disease."
  594. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe sat down on her knees.
  595. Jones McAvery: "The disease itself wasn't anything special. Nothing normal medicine and cleanliness wouldn't cure. Norman had visited Vertwyvern a few times to ensure people were taking care of themselves. He was that kind of guy you see."
  596. Saturn Rosewell: "...wouldn't. That's past tense. What changed?"
  597. Jones McAvery: "But then, suddenly all the workers got sick at once. And when Norman went to treat them, they got better. And immediately the following day, got just as sick."
  598. * Valerie Ylsef sits using Jordy's fuel tank as a back rest.
  599. Jones McAvery: "Before long, anyone setting foot in the mines got sick and treatments were only a momentary relief. The disease, while short-lived, seemed to be constantly re-applied. But no one could figure it out."
  600. Valerie Ylsef: "That sounds pretty damn rotten."
  601. Jones McAvery: "Norman began suspecting sabotage and that it was being slipped into the water-supply. But that defies the very nature of the disease itself. And you couldn't detect it in the water."
  602. Chloe Blanchett: "The job posting mentioned it was affecting crops as well."
  603. Saturn Rosewell: "...maybe it had something to do with time of day?"
  604. Rochette: "Anyone who -steps into the mine-."
  605. Jones McAvery: "Ah, yes. Probably misleading. It's putting people in the position unable to work and as a result, unable to tend - or defend - their crops."
  606. Saturn Rosewell: "So they get sick when stepping into the mine...and remain as such when stepping out? Or are they only sick while in the mine?"
  607. Jones McAvery: "What scares me isn't the disease itself - it's the supplier. Where is it coming from and why can't people get better? If something like that hits here? We're as good as dead."
  608. Rochette: "I wasn't entirely certain, but it sounds like we should think this over again... is it possible that some form of curse could be responsible for agitating and bolstering the disease?"
  609. Saturn Rosewell: "Possible. Maybe it's in the air of the mine itself?"
  610. Rochette: ((ro doesn't have the Know: Occult to be able to verify this))
  611. Chloe Blanchett: "Both the mine and any well they draw water from would be underground, perhaps connected."
  612. Jones McAvery: "People thought the mines may have been cursed, but the treatments occured outside of the mines and they didn't re-enter the mines while they were recovering and got sick again."
  613. Saturn Rosewell: Medicine check to see if anything sounds familiar, and/or might have ideas to its source/cure, 4d6+2 .
  614. Valerie Ylsef: "This is going right back to my metal poisoning theory....all except the untracable things."
  615. Valerie Ylsef: "Well, and the vermin I guess."
  616. Rochette: ((edu pokemon to see if i can remember any rumors of pokemon being capable of similar))
  617. Jones McAvery whispers: The first people infected came from the mines so it originates from the mines. Norman suggested that carriers were vermin and bugs. It could be a disease that Pokemon are normally immune to but Humans aren't. The source sounds to be coming from the mines - it could be an ancient disease uncovered by the mining. You haven't heard of a disease this persistent but the symptoms sound very treatable.
  618. Chloe Blanchett: "Vermin would also go underground at times, so all that confirms is that it is contagious."
  619. Jones McAvery: (( Capabel of similar what? ))
  620. Rochette: (either the disease or the massive bolstering of it)
  621. Saturn Rosewell: "...do you know if any Pokémon were catching the disease? Or was it just humans?"
  622. Valerie Ylsef: "Did the vermin...."
  623. Jones McAvery: (( Capable of creating the disease or being a carrier? ))
  624. Valerie Ylsef: "What she said."
  625. DNA: Is that directed at me?
  626. Jones McAvery: (( Ava ))
  627. Jones McAvery: "There aren't any reports that Pokémon were getting sick. Just humans."
  628. Chloe Blanchett: "That is strange..."
  629. Saturn Rosewell: "That could be a good starting point..."
  630. Chloe Blanchett: "So finding Norman sounds like the best plan. Speaking of which... do you know where he might have gone? We only heard that he had left and why. But you sound like you were closer to him."
  631. Saturn Rosewell: "If it's from the mines, and only humans are getting sick from it, perhaps it's produced by a Pokemon deep in the mine. Just a preliminary idea..."
  632. Jones McAvery: "I don't know about being closer. I worked with him often as he was our only towns doctor. He was a wanderer before he came to live here so he could've gone anywhere. If he didn't take his newborn with him, I'd say he'd probably have returned to Vertwyvern to continue treating people there."
  633. Avara: ((sorry, didn't see the question, kaorin. creating, although i have another idea))
  634. Avara: ((what if this is an altered strain of pokerus? non-harmful to pokemon, extremely infectious, can be infected repeatedly without mercy))
  635. Chloe Blanchett: "We didn't find him heading south down the road. So he was heading toward Vertwyvern or he went off the main roads."
  636. DNA: ...dammit ava that was brilliant.
  637. Chronicler: Whelp, it's almost 2 AM. >_>
  638. Chronicler: So, how about this:
  639. Chronicler: Being that it's nightfall you guys can rest at Mighty Grotto, get in some more extended actions, rest up, heal injuries, all that jazz and we'll pick back up the following day.
  640. Avara: sounds good.
  641. Chronicler: And for Trul's sake, the random encounter generator will make you guys deal with things.
  642. Chronicler: Hopefully.
  643. Avara: i vote
  644. Avara: that we be given the chance to call for a reroll on non-event rolls
  645. DNA: I wasted all my command sessions! NOOOOOOOOOO!
  646. Avara: 73 and above: nothing or reroll
  647. DNA: but not a big deal
  648. Chloe Blanchett: I liked getting to the next place quickly for a change. I don't mind at all.
  649. Chronicler: I won't enforce an encounter. If the roll say 'nah, you guys go to next town' I'll stick with it.
  650. Avara: basically, we can go -looking- for an encounter potentially, if we don't find one automatically
  651. Chronicler: If you guys plan to do that, just go off-road.
  652. Avara: 'k
  653. Chronicler: The map is free-roam. You don't have to stick to the main road.
  654. DNA: not like we were planning to anyway.
  655. DNA: But, all right! Stuff was done! What's tonight's payout?
  656. Chronicler: 40 PKMN XP.
  657. 3 TXP.
  658. Trulhammaren: boy Pyrgomache is leveling a lot having never been released from her pokeball
  659. Trulhammaren: >.>
  660. Chronicler: Pfft.
  661. Chronicler: Saving log and campaign.
  662. Trulhammaren is disconnected.
  663. Avara is disconnected.
  664. You have disconnected.
