Life Goal: Find the Shapeshifter that killed his wife and get revenge.

Demeanor: Joshua is pretty relaxed most of the time, although he is easily annoyed. He's friendly with you if you don't do anything to piss him off. If you get him angry, he will not hesitate to give you a piece of his mind, and he will respond to violence, with even more violence. If he sees a Shapeshifter that can turn into human forms, he will interrogate it into telling him if it's the one who killed his wife.

Appearance: He's a tall man, standing in at 6'2. He's a pretty good looking guy when he isn't scowling. He has a stubbly beard and curly brown hair. He has a muscular build, but is more on the lean side than bulky. He has a look of annoyance by default, but will quickly change into a smile. A real smile if it's someone he actually likes talking to, and a fake one for everyone else. His usual outfit is jeans, a white shirt, and a nice denim jacket if it isn't too hot.

2 One Of These Will Be The Right One: Joshua has spent time studying Shapeshifters and how they might work. If the books he read are right, he should be able to hit them where it hurts. +1 Prowess when engaging Shapeshifters in combat.
3 Take Em To The Ground: While he was a bouncer, Joshua has had to deal with a few violent drunks, so he's learned the best way to subdue someone without hurting them too much. While Joshua is grappling an opponent non-lethally, they gain Disadvantage on rolls to break free.

Backstory: Joshua was born in Nevada, only an hour drive to Vegas. His childhood was pretty uneventful for the most part. His parents were normal and treated him well. Once he got into high school he met Samantha, his future wife. They married in his early twenties. He got a job as a bouncer for various clubs during his time working. One day however, he came home and saw his wife lying at the bottom of the stairs, dead. He looked outside and saw a man who looked just like him running away. He chased the man and saw it was indeed someone that looks just like him. When he grabbed the man's arm though, it fell away and the man started to change into a completely different person. Joshua was stunned by this and the man slipped into a crowd before he had a chance to snap out of it. He went back home and the police were already there. Witnesses placed him at the scene and the best hope he could get was to plead guilty for manslaughter. He was given a lighter sentence due to his obvious grief and got out of jail at the age of 35. His time in prison was well spent however. He spent his spare time investigating other weird occurrences like that and keeping himself in shape. From that point on he couldn't get a job as a bouncer due to his history. So he applied for the only job that he could find, some weird gas station in the desert.
