AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : -Noah pulled his car into the parking lot of the hospital, having to give it a bit more gas just to get over the envelope of the driveway which is definitely sad. Putting the car in park, he killed the engine and walked around to Tae's side, opening her door for her and pulling out the crutches he'd borrowed from Steph, propping them up for her. "Can you get out?"-
Covet: "Yeah, I'm good." She said taking the crutches and lifted herself up on them. She moved out of the way so he could close the door. Tae made sure her ankle had been bound up and had been staying off of it and keeping her leg elevated, calling in from school and all that good stuff. "The stairs are going to be another idea though."
Alexithymiaa: "That's why there's a ramp, genius." He shot back, putting a hand out behind her to make sure she didnt lose her balance on the crutches since they take a bit of practice to get used to. He started to walk slowly behind her, gesturing in the direction of the ramp. "Over there."-
Covet: "Oh my god, that's going to take forever to get up." She frowned then made her way that direction. It was slow going and she groaned, "I'm going to be late at this rate." Tae complained but eventually got up the ramp, finally getting inside, making her way up to the receptionist to check in.
Alexithymiaa: "Get better at using crutches. Or should I have gone in to get you a wheelchair?" He asked with a snicker, following her closely and into the hospital.-
Covet: "Shut up." Tae said grumbling at Noah. Once she was done checking in she moved to go sit down, "Keep it up and you're going to find a crutch to the shin."
Alexithymiaa: -He turned to go sit down with her, dropping heavily into one of the chairs. "If you do that you'll be walking home. I've been nice to you, can't you quit it for two seconds?"-
Covet: "Sorry. I'm just grumpy about all of this. The timing couldn't be more shit." She said with a grumble. It wasn't too long of a wait before she was called back by the nurse. She struggled getting back up again, having basically just sat down, and started hobbling her way over to follow the nurse to the exam room.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah well... I can't really blame you." He said, pushing up from the chair and giving her a push to help her up. He walked slowly behind her, sliding his hands into the pockets of his jacket. "It shouldn't take them too long to take a look at it and then you can go home and relax."-
Covet: "I hope so." She said with a pout. The nurse got her general stats and all that good shit, telling her to hop up on the table and prop her foot up on the slide out padded tray thingy. Easier said than done. Once situated the nurse told her the doctor would be in to see her soon. Tae looked at Noah, "Thank you again... I know I'm kind of a bitch to you... often. But this is above and beyond what you needed to do."
Alexithymiaa: -He walked into the room with her and dropped down into the chair in the corner, slouching down and resting his hands in his lap. "I mean, it's whatever. You're hurt and you didn't have anyone else to take you so..."-
Covet: "Yeah..." She said looking away from him. "I'm s-" Tae was about to say something more but the doctor came in. // "Hello Ms. Cohen, I'm Doctor Pratt. What do we have going on here?" He asked looking at her leg propped up for him.
Alexithymiaa: (Me: Doctor for Raptors?)
Alexithymiaa: -He shifted in his seat as the doctor came into the exam room, watching for him to stop talking before he chimed in. "Pretty sure it's sprained."-

Covet: Tae nodded. "Yeah, no pop or snap, Swollen, hurts like a bitch, can't put a lot of pressure on it, and there's some bruising today." She explained taking off her slipper and puller her pant leg up so the doctor could take the wrap off of it to examine it.
Alexithymiaa: -He rested his elbows on his knees and let out a large yawn, watching the doctor examine her. It wasnt too big of a deal for him so he was finding the entire process kind of boring.-
Covet: After a long moment, with the doctor checking her pain and mobility, he finally set back. "Well it's not broken, so I'm not going to order any xrays. But I am going to put you in a pressure boot for a couple of weeks. You've spraigned it pretty good." // Tae frowned, " A pressure boot, but there's nothing remotely attrtactive about a pressure boot with an LBD!" She whined as if that was what was important here.
Alexithymiaa: "Told you." He said quickly like him being right was the entire point of him coming with her. He watched her with her little outburst, shaking his head. "No one cares."-
Covet: "I care." Tae said snapping at Noah. "It's going to effect my tips. It's bad enough I'm having to change shifts and call out of work as is." She crossed her arms glaring at her housemate. // Doctor Pratt chuckled, "Well then you're really going to hate that I want you to stay off of it as much as possible. It will heal faster if you do."
Alexithymiaa: "Toldddddd youuuuu." He said a bit louder and more obnoxiously this time, because he just loves to be right.-
Covet: "Shut Up Noah." Tae snapped at him again, throwing her slipper at him. "Okay, well I'm going to need a note then for work at the very least. I still have to go to class, but I'll need the note for my dance class. How long will I not be able to do these things?" She asked with a huff. // " At least two to three weeks. If it's still hurting after that come see me again. Take the boot off at night, but keep it wrapped. Use ice intermittenly and I'll prescribe you some pain killers for the next few days to help with the pain and the inflamation."
Alexithymiaa: -He sat up a bit straighter feeling pretty smug and pleased with himself since everything the doctor had said was more or less what he'd told her right off the bat. "You should hold onto those crutches for the next few weeks, too."-
Covet: "You sure your cousin doesn't need them back at all?" She asked him annoyed at his smug look. // The doctor looked at the crutches, "Those will help staying off of it, but once you can put pressure onto to your foot without pain, you wont need them as long as you keep it elevated while sitting."
Alexithymiaa: "Nah, she's fine. And if she needs them back, I'll bring them back to her. I doubt she's going to need them in the next few weeks though so you can use them to be a cripple until your ankle heels." He said like a fucking doctor wasnt just in the room with them and their shit.-
Covet: "I'm not a cripple, it's just a spraign." She said to him then looked at the doctor, taking the papers he wrote out for her note wise and prescription wise. "Thanks." Tae mumbled. // "That's what we're here for, The nurse will get you set up with your boot before you leave." He said getting up, finished with his job.
Alexithymiaa: "Cripple." He said under his breath, standing up from his seat and walking over to stand next to her. "At least it's a good excuse to sit and watch bad tv?"-
Covet: "You say that like I need a legitimate excuse to do that." She commented flatly. The nurse came in and re-wrapped her foot, before getting her fitted into a pressure boot, showing her how it goes together and where the pressure pump and censor were at so she didn't over do it and cut off the circulation to her foot.
Alexithymiaa: -He crossed his arms over his chest as watched the nurse's instructions because he intended to help her if she needed help with it. Once the nurse was finished, he glanced at Tae. "Think you got it?"-
Covet: Tae stared at Noah, "Yeah, Straps, pressure button, gage, not too much. Not rocket surgery."
Alexithymiaa: "Until tomorrow when you can't remember how to do it." He added, slipping his hands into his pockets again. "Are you going to make a follow up appointment while you're here so you don't forget to come back?"-
Covet: Rolling her eyes she slid off the table and went to grab the crutches, feeling off balance because of the weight of the boot, and the inch or two of height difference. "I'll remember... and yeah duh."
Alexithymiaa: "Well I'm not going to remember so I can't remind you." he said, watching her on the crutches. "Are you hungry? We should pick up some food on the way home. You can put your foot up with some ice and we can eat a bunch of shit."-
Covet: "Yeah, we could do something to eat on the way home. Fries sound good." Tae said nodding her head as she made her way up to the receptionist desk to make her appointment in a few weeks.
Alexithymiaa: "Cheese fries. Loaded cheese fries." He corrected as he followed her up to the desk, internally brainstorming about what he wanted to eat. "With bacon."-
Covet: "Okay, sure. You can get that." She said shaking her head because she just wanted regular fries. She got her appoitment set up and then proceeded to hobble out the door a little bit easier this time.
Alexithymiaa: -He followed her out the door still thinking about what he wanted to order, making sure this bitch didnt roll down the ramp. He helped her into the car, situating the crutches for her so they could take off and get food.-
