In the medbay, buy another two armoured body parts for a cred.

Instead of joining the other, I go to my room for a bit to ponder the brevity of existence.
I look at my mechanic legs, and remember how it took a plasma explosion without a scratch; and then at my non-mechanic arms, remembering dying because a piece of metal broke my human leg.
Then I think about the end of the previous two missions - it’s always the frailty of my own body that has stopped me from doing my thing. Next time I might not come back, or someone else might not because I’m hiding with another broken limb
Then I ponder Squidhead.
After a while, I reach a decision, grab a paper and a pencil and start sketching away.
Then I head back to the infirmary (or wherever I need to be for this stuff), pay 2 creds and tell the doctors I want all the rest replaced with armoured body parts too, following this design I scribbled down:

((looks are just RP character fluff (yay Flash :D ) - it’s entirely armoured and cyborg, so doesn’t need air, like Squidhead. The ear-things is the comm system and the face is just bendable plastic made to look like my human face, kind of. It’s also a tad stronger than me because I’m levelling energy to 2 ;) the rest of the specifications are just reflections of my actual stats and standard equipment ))
Also tell the doctors to transfer my spare body part to Squidhead - I’m sure he’ll want an armoured central orb-thingy. He saved my ass again, after all. Metaphorically speaking, that is.

When they’re done, I take a few moments to get used to being all metal, then head over to where the others are. I also tell Squid to head to the medbay/machine shop and tell them I sent him, if still necessary.  (( he said “I won’t say no against upgrades” in IRC ))

((There, now killing me will be an actual challenge for Tal and I can only die in a spectacular way :ghost: ))
