- >You were on your way home when you got jumped by a batpony
- >it sunk its teeth's into your neck and drank your blood before you smacked it so hard on the head it flew away
- >If it was hubgry it should have just said so, you could have invited it over to your cafe for something to drink, silly batpony
- >And now that you are finally home, coat and fluff caked with dry blood you feel feverish
- >You hope you didn't catch any disease from it
- >with woozy wings you fly over to your bed and just collapse onto it as you feel sleep overtake you
- >Better visit a doctor tomorrow once you wa...zzzzzz
- >Suddenly your eyes fly open
- >the first thing you notice is that you feel no longer sick, but you're really thirsty
- >You climb out of your bed and groggily make your way to the kitchen and pour yourself a glass of juice
- >Hungrily you gulp it down and-
- PFFFFFT
- >You spit it out
- >it's sweet, way too sweet, you can't drink this, you need something more...saltier...
- >you pour yourself some water but the same thing happens and you spit it out
- >What is this? You're so thirsty but...
- >you suddenly spot a glass of tomato juice in the fridge and suddenly your whole body tenses up
- >your heart beats wildly and you can't help but to lick your lips and graze your tongue against your fangs
- >...wait a minute fangs?
- >you quickly rush to the mirror and gasp in shock
- >Your ears now have wild tufts in them and you have fangs now
- >but the most shocking thing is your eyes, they are now blood red and with slit pupils
- "Oh no..."
- >the bite, the thirst, the bat like pony it all makes sense now
- "I have rabies!"
- >Oh no, oh no no no
- >you are currently in panic
- >this must be some sort of a super-rabies since your lovely moth wings have turned leathery and batty
- >this is bad, you need help and fast
- >Birch! She reads a lot of books! She'll know what to do
- >you quickly fly out of your house and-
- >you stop and hover still as you blink a few times
- >wow, rabies gives you super night vision, moth eyes see in the dark well but now you can even see the veins of various mothponies going about on their nightly businesses
- > not to mention you can hear their hearts bumping like they were beside your ear
- >you take a sniff and suddenly you smell a lot of new things you never smelled before
- >this is bad, you're already hallucinating as the disease destroys your brain
- >shying away from the wary mothponies staring at you you fly quickly to Birch's house
- >You start pounding on the door and after a while a very tired looking Birch opens the door
- "Birch help me I have rabies!"
- >Birch stares at you with an unamused look on her face as she answers you
- >"Minty it's too late for pranks, take the contacts off and go to bed"
- >Before you can say anything the door is slammed shut
- >You hang your head while whimpering sadly, but then suddenly your whole body tenses up as you smell something...delicious...
- >You don't know why but you just have to go to the scent, and that's what you do, flying like a bat out of hell
- >you arrive to the source, which turns out to be Orange Pop who scraped her hoof while roller skating
- >there's a bleeding wound and...
- >Orange Pop is asking you something and...
- >before you know it you are licking the blood from her wound
- >it's...just amazing, it feels so good, tastes so good you, you just need to drink more
- >you start moaning wildly as you keep lapping up the blood, more you ne-
- >"Minty, why are you eating my blood?"
- >Orange Pop's words shake you back into control of your body
- >you pull away and awkwardly wipe your mouth as Orange Pop stares at you with worry
- >O-oh no...
- >Hanging around Caramel has given you a weird fetish!
- >You quickly fly back home in shame as your body hungers for more
- >maybe sleeping will cure it? Yeah, you'll do that...
- >Ugh, morning...your body does not feel good...
- >You get up and walk to the mirror, but to your surprise you can't see yourself in the reflection
- >First rabies and now your mirror is broken? What bad luck, and you really loved that mirror...
- >with a sulky mood you attempt to eat breakfast but for some reason you can't bring yourself to swallow it
- >you should go to the doctor but your whole body feels so sluggish you just go back to bed...
- >your eyes fly open again as you suddenly spring to life
- >it's the night time again and for some reason you feel extremely good and alert
- >maybe its healing up? But the weird thirst is still there, just not as strong as before
- >you should go knock on the doctors door already, it's not getting better on its own this rabies
- >you walk out of your house and for some reason ponies that see you suddenly run and fly away in terror
- >you hope the rabies hasn't gotten worse...if only your mirror worked...
- >you flap your new wings a few times and take flight
- >wow, it's easier to fly with these weird wings compared to your old ones
- >as you fly towards the doctors house you suddenly stop as your new sharp eyes notice something in the woods
- >It's the batpony!
- >You quickly change where you're heading and dive towards the batpony
- "You gave me rabies!"
- >Wow, your voice sounds different and scary
- >The pony looks at you and suddenly starts running deep into the dense woods, too dense to fly in
- >you land down and start running after the pony, but as you do you suddenly hear a shriek of terror
- >you head towards the sound and to your surprise you find the batpony, impaled in a sharp branch of one of the trees
- >you gasp in shock
- "Oh no! Wait here I'll get he-"
- >but suddenly the pony turns to dust before your eyes
- >before you can properly react to it a weird feeling washes over you that almost makes your hooves give out from beneath you
- >and just like that your body feels normal again
- >you give yourself a check and find everything back to normal, no weird wings, no fangs, no nothing
- >oh wow, you know what this means
- >your body fought the rabies off
- >you look at the pile of dust
- >the batpony must have had a serious wood allergy...
- >such a shame...poor pony...
- >Well, now that you're cured there's no need to visit the doctor so you can just head back to sleep
